A sweet delight that I think everyone associates with the fair. It is VERY buttery, so that could be a turn off visually to some. I also order the Doritos loco chicken on a stick. Pleasantly surprised with the flavor profile of this. As the name suggests, it's a chicken pierced by a stick. It is fried, and covered with liquid cheese and Doritos crumbs. While unhealthy, it was super delicious. The last item is the one I was most excited for, but unfortunately I would never get again. I heard from some friends that the Birria Ramen was great. Unfortunately, it was overly salty. They use the $1 Marucha ramen cups that you get at Publix, and they put birria mix in it. The taste was overwhelming. I would rate 3/10. Overall, despite me only coming for the food. The FAIR is a fun place to bring the family. It has varies rides, and activities to take advantage of.

That said, it's becoming quite expensive to try different foods, with most plates ranging from $15-$20 each. In the end, I spent about $40 on just three items.

Just makes finally having visiting this venue so much more special with how incredible it is. Secondly, amazing is how big it feels despite its size and location (granted, I visited at night for a special event, so your mileage may vary) - though I admit, the exhibits seem too small for some of their fauna inhabitants. Third and finally, visiting it for said special event, Luminosa, was ABSOLUTELY wondrous. Made the visit absolutely worth it (even if my bus almost missed the stop). Plus, the staff is so kind and accommodating. We as a society need to invest and support spaces and places like this that not only offer incredible experiences, but also give back to all its visitors and urban spaces they inhabit - even if they're on a small, missable island (jajaja).

Even more when you sign the waivers online. What's the point? Not a good way to start the day and experience. The young lady's attitude in the ticket booth did not help. If I hadn't bought the tickets online, I would have left right there. The blanket waivers they make you sign is also utterly ridiculous. $25 per person including for those under 2 to feed bunnies!! Like you can buy your own bunnies for this. For context, it's $10 to feed a RHINO at the miami zoo (and not per person!) I honestly don't recommend for kids under 6 as there's not much they can do other than one playground which you can do anywhere for free. Otherwise all the animal encounters are for 6 and up and extra. One and done - definitely glad we didn't go for father's day car show

I like the set up of the bounce house because it has a bunch of foldable chairs in front where you can keep a close eye on your child/children. My family got there around 1:45pm and spent 3 hours walking, enjoying the time seeing my nephew on the various rides. If you have children from ages 2-7 years old this is a good place for them to burn some energy. Everyone we came across was very nice and helpful...I can definitely see my family and I coming again.

Ahoy Matey! You still have to pay for parking. I recommend the parking lot next door. The Pirate Park Playground was built by Superior Playgrounds who was tasked with designing a one-of-a-kind pirate theme play space to spark creative play and provide a safe place for budding buccaneers to play. The playground is made of recycled material like milk jugs and was created to be corrosion resistant so that it would always look good in this salt water coastal ecosystem. Located only 100 feet from the beach, the playground is fenced in for safety. There is a large pirate ship for older children to climb on and slide down and a smaller area for younger privateers. The crows nest with rigging looked especially fun to climb. Other playground play structures include clownfish and blue tang fish spring riders, a custom octopus playhouse, and palm tree shade. There are four triangle sail shades and poured-in-place safety surfacing to protect little knees and bottoms. Bathrooms are nearby. During my visit the playground was filled with kids and their families enjoying the nautical theme. This unique play space fosters imagination and physical movement for the youngest North Beach residents and visitors.

What I don't understand is the company's policy of refusing to issue refunds when the experience never takes place. The only option offered was to reschedule. That might work for local residents, but I was visiting from a different country. Even for someone who lives nearby, driving an hour to come back on another day, only to risk another weather cancellation doesn't seem like a reasonable solution. To make matters worse, the person at the front desk showed little interest in helping. Instead of trying to find a fair resolution or showing any empathy, they simply repeated the rescheduling policy. The customer service felt indifferent and unhelpful. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. Since the activity was canceled by the business due to weather, I would have been satisfied with a refund. Instead, I left feeling like my time and money didn't matter. I would't recommend anyone, especially if you're visiting from out of town. If bad weather prevents the tour from happening, don't expect much flexibility or consideration. Stay way and look somewhere else.

But with the discount and it being the last week the ride lines were very short and we rode everything we wanted to with little to no waits. The other rival carnival (Christmas Wonderland) which is now located at Tropical Park unfortunately did have better photo ops and better food. The food here was very expensive and hit and miss. The other carnival also had roller coasters, this one did not. I will most likely come back to this one next year just to see how it compares again to the Christmas Wonderland, but will probably go after the peak holiday season like we did this year.

Santa's Enchanted Forest was once a South Florida holiday legend, but by the end it felt more…read more"Enchanted Money Grab" than "Enchanted Forest." Still, if you grew up here, you'll always remember it -- even if you wouldn't go back. Santa's Enchanted Forest used to be the South Florida holiday tradition. From November through early January, Tropical Park in Miami transformed into a neon wonderland where Christmas lights met county-fair chaos. It was part holiday magic, part carnival fever dream -- and for a while, it worked. History first: Santa's started back in 1983, and for decades it was billed as the world's largest holiday theme park. Millions of lights, giant Christmas trees, endless photo ops, shows, rides, and of course, food that was 80% sugar and 20% regret. Families drove in from all over -- Broward, Palm Beach, even the Keys -- because if you wanted to see Miami dressed up in twinkling lights, this was the place. It became a rite of passage. If you grew up in South Florida, you went at least once as a kid, took photos in front of the giant Christmas tree, and begged your parents for fried Oreos. But like so many Miami institutions, Santa's didn't age gracefully. Prices climbed higher than the Ferris wheel, parking was a nightmare, and the whole thing started to feel less "enchanted" and more "enchanted scam." The rides looked like they had been patched together with duct tape, the shows lost their charm, and the once-magical lights were the same recycled strands you'd already seen a dozen times. Add in massive crowds and the fact that it eventually lost its home at Tropical Park, and the tradition faded. Nostalgia-wise, though, it still holds a special place in Miami's collective memory. For many of us, it was our first taste of holiday magic -- Miami-style. Think Christmas lights wrapped around palm trees, Santa sweating in 80-degree weather, and a backdrop of reggaeton blasting from someone's car in the parking lot. It was chaotic, it was kitschy, and it was ours.

You can access this on their site so you can complete before hand. The playground goes on for days, and the corn pit was a huge hit. My child thoroughly enjoyed making corn angels in it. LOL. Just a heads-up--on hot days, it is VERY hot here. There are also a lot of gravel areas, which are pretty miserable to push an umbrella stroller through, so bring your Rolls-Royce cruiser if you have one. They also have a blob bounce area, which is a lot of fun, but keep your eyes on the little ones! The bigger kids give no Fs around here, and apparently neither do some of their parents. So... bounce at your own risk. There's a nice selection of food options, although the wait times were pretty long. I was really looking forward to a delicious smoothie on such a hot day, but unfortunately, the drink was so warm it wasn't even drinkable. Definitely felt like a waste of money there. Overall, I'd go back because my child had such a great time on the playground, but for us, it would probably be more of a once-in-a-while outing rather than a regular trip.
