The booking: I booked Emily to do an outdoor "pregnancy…read morereveal" for my husband and I. I jumped the gun a little and thought spring would come early (due to a couple of days of really nice weather.) Unfortunately the temperature dropped again. Every weekend (this was the only time that worked for my husband and I) we tried to get the shoot done it would either be too cold or poor weather. This went on for about a month before we could end up actually doing the shoot. Emily was SO understanding. She was super flexible with her schedule and easy to work with. She stayed in constant contact with me until the day of. Communication was great. I don't think she ever took more than 24 hours to respond but usually I'd hear back from her within a few hours. The photoshoot: I have nothing to complain about here. She was just as great in person as she was via email. She gave direction while not being too pushy. She also listened to all of my ideas and made sure that we got every shot I wanted The photos: They came out great. I asked Emily if I could pretty pretty please have some finished photos within the next 7 days. I had a friends and family event and wanted them for the occasion. That night I was surprised to receive an email from her letting me know that she's already edited a few photos and I can have a look at them! I also received most of the other photos in time for my event as I asked. Everyone loved them and I was even told that "this might be the best maternity shoot I've ever seen". Conclusion: I was originally hesitant to work with Emily due to some poor reviews (only a couple) on Yelp. My hesitancy was completely unwarranted. I highly recommend Emily Main Photography and look forward to working with her again in the future.

Initial meeting - After calling a company who must have had Calvin Harris djing for him with his rates We found Ernest and realized his rates were right in our budget! both my fiance and I live in Virginia but we got married in New Jersey. So we didn't have a lot of free time to set up meetings. Ernest scheduled on the exact day we were going to be in town and was a pleasure to have lunch with. Immediately we knew we wanted to use him. Songs and song choices- my fiance and I delayed getting this to them until about a week before the wedding. To make it even worse we sent them about 10 songs and the wedding party / first dance songs.. Never once did he get upset, check in on us, or say he couldn't do anything. It was all met with a "great or no problem" in fact he even took my call on a random Tuesday night because we had no idea how to do the scheduling. He helped with all of that!!!! Wedding- well let's just say that everyone danced their booties off!!! With a very diverse family including kids he managed to work in poppy songs for the kids, 60's & 70's songs for the adults, dance/ rap for us and our friends.. We got compliments on how great of a job they did. Keep in mind that 10 song list I sent was done so he knew what type of music we wanted to listen to. At 10 songs it's hard to fill 3 hours of dancing and Ernest picked songs that blended perfect and everyone enjoyed. If you've made it this far reading, thank you!
