Ever single person affiliated with Dog's World has a tremendous love for all of the dog's they look after. Our 4 month old Irish Setter is extremely active and absolutely loves going to daycare. At the end of the day Scarlett is exhausted and is ready for snuggle time at home. All of the dog's are very well behaved and get along well with each other. I drop Scarlett off for her day and I see many dog's running around and having a great time with each other and none of them bark, just lots of tails wagging. All of the grounds and building is extremely clean and well maintained. If I could rate a 10 I would.

Casey (and Jennifer) were…read moreawesome at answering all my questions before enrolling Daisy in puppy daycare (including sending me an application, schedule, and prices), and Casey has been especially awesome at both giving me updates (comfort!) during the day while Daisy is there and information on other services (e.g., training classes). It's super easy to make sure Daisy is on the list for daycare on the days I need her to be there (I've done this both by email and by phone). They have great COVID precautions in place, and I feel safe dropping off and picking up Daisy (you have to call beforehand, each time). The lovely folks at My Dog's Place make sure to give the pups leashed potty breaks throughout the day, which is nice. It's also nice that they divide up the dogs by size and play style, which is something that worries me at times when we go to the dog park and/or even other puppy play dates. Even though Daisy *thinks* she's a big dog (that corgi attitude...!) she is actually a tiny little thing, so I feel better knowing she is playing with pups who are her own size. :) I feel great because she's SO excited about going to daycare, and she comes back nice and tuckered out afterwards, which makes for nice quiet evenings! For starters I find it nothing but positive the staff reached out for early pick up of a dog that was in danger of being hurt by another dog for in appropriate play. MOST DAYCARES WILL CRATE YOUR DOG ALL DAY LONG, CHARGE YOU FULL PRICE NEVER SAYING A WORD!! Just FYI. As well as I know this owner to evaluate these dogs and have routine schedules for them so they are not exposed to other dogs they may clash with. There are few other daycares that do this willingly. As for the bite wound I cannot imagine an establishment ever pointing out an injury bringing it to your attention if they had any plans of hiding it in any way... just silliness. They are dogs people! Poop happens, they don't always get along. Why would they lie?? We were thankful to find Barking Lot, which didn't require sign up ahead of time and had openings on day one. After a half-day behavioral assessment, our dog was accepted and spent the rest of the day in their facility. While we (and our dog, presumably) appreciated the outdoor space and general separation of bigger dogs and smaller dogs, there were aspects of this environment that were not optimal for our dog, like minimal supervision and a bit of a free for all during the day. Someone takes photos and posts them on Facebook everyday, which is nice. While BL had its conveniences, it doesn't seem as good for a dog that might need more attention and care. Maybe it's better for dogs with a little more independence.
