Tamarack is the company that built our house and they have been great to work with. When we have…read moresome concerns come up with our house,, we usually consult with them for advice on who to call and they have done a few modifications for us since we moved in. We just had them put in a couple of skylights in our mudroom and laundry room. What a difference that has made!l. We don't have to turn a light on every time we walk into that space, except all night. It's wonderful. The workers were efficient and friendly and cleaned up after themselves very well.

I was not familiar with SIP construction, but love the finished product - a relatively high end home with top-notch finishes. From ground breaking to move in, the process was just a little over one year. Paul, Wendy and their team (John in particular) are wonderful to work with. They won't be the cheapest, but they will be fair and the finished product will be outstanding. Early on during construction I knew I had the right contractor when I watched how the subs reacted to Paul and and his team to instructions. There is a tremendous amount of respect and comfort there. I highly recommend Tamarack for any new build or remodel needs you may have and I am happy to refer any new business I can to them. Chris W.

Big Sky Builders of Victor Montana is extraordinary. After our very first meeting with them we…read moreknew this was the builder we wanted to build for us. We learned so much about them in our very first meeting, 2nd generation builders, quality homes that have won awards, and very honest, especially about what they can provide with the budget you bring them. The most impressive thing to us was their ability to provide a build schedule and to keep to it. When we approved the plans, they provided a schedule and they delivered. When our build started, they told us our move in date would be 3/9/2023 and on that date it was ours to start moving in! They have an app that allows you to have all the information available to you, schedule, selections of material and finishes and the ability to communicate directly with them regarding any one of those topics so there is no confusion about what faucet goes on what sink or the flooring for each room. We provided them a floor plan that we liked, and they were able to make changes to customize the space to be uniquely ours. They also have floor plans that they can provide if you need. They scheduled all our appointments with the product vendors, so we had someone there to guide us in our selections of lighting, flooring, cabinets and countertops. We appreciated that because we are not designers! They are up to date on current building standards, and they make sure that no corners are cut. The project manager visited the site regularly and would make sure things were to the Big Sky standard and if there were issues, they were quick to have them corrected. The Big Sky team is very responsive when you have questions, and they are proactive when there is a need to advise you of a change to the schedule or a delay in materials. We never felt as though we weren't sure what was next, we could always send a message or check the schedule and get the answers we needed. We are so grateful for the honest and caring way that they built our home. We have been moved in now for about 3 months and every single day we appreciate the work that they put in, especially through this winter build. The Big Sky team took care to make sure this dream home of ours was everything that we wanted, and by doing that, they took great care of us!

We always felt they were honest and upfront with us and kept our best interests in mind. They are very professional and we were treated with respect. We were on schedule throughout construction and, in fact, the house was completed a few days ahead of schedule. Anyone considering building a home in this area would be remiss if they did not contact Big Sky Builders. We highly recommend them.

Thankfully, when I came home to see our amazing tile guy installing some hideous piece of leopard print back splash, I whipped out my photo of the mild color stone actually purchased. Haley and Flora were wonderful to work with and insisted on a second measurement to ensure accuracy. Josh also gets five gold stars for his meticulous install, professionalism and gracious attitude.
