Such a great experience!! From the moment we arrived, everyone working there was incredibly kind and helpful. There are so many trees to choose from which makes the adventure so much fun. And if you don't want to cut your own tree down there is a ton of pre cut trees to choose from. And they make it extra special with a fire to enjoy while sipping on cider or hot chocolate. After having my favorite christmas tree farm close this year, my husband and I found ourselves in need of a new place to get our christmas tree this year. After some careful consideration, my husband and I decided to come to Skyline Christmas Tree Farm. We were pleasantly surprised at what we found: beautiful Christmas trees at affordable prices! The parking isn't great, as it's a bit tight and limited for my liking, but it's serviceable. We were able to see both u-cut and pre-cut trees for reasonable prices, and we found the perfect Noble Fir for $48. Last years tree cost me around $65 total, so I'd call $48 a win. All their prices were easy to find, their fire pit was great, and their gift shop is full of the cutest decorations you could ever want. I found where I'll be going to get my trees in the future. With being new to Salem, I didn't know where to go for a Christmas tree. A quick google search led me to the skyline tree farm. I was happy to see that it was only a short drive from my home. Went to check it out and was happy I did! There was a great selection of pre cut trees, complimentary cider, coco and cookies, wreaths, a gift shop and so much more. All the staff was very friendly and more than willing to help. I am so happy with our purchase! read more

Nice place, plenty of parking, well laid out. They have a great machine that shakes all the old needles off, and a nice little shop to buy trinkets. I'm giving this a good review even though we didn't buy a tree. Their selection of trees is limited to small trees. They are very nicely groomed and the grounds are clearly taken care of, but you will not find a tree over 7' tall.... many people like us were walking around looking and they just don't have them... so if you have a higher ceiling and looking for an 8' tree.... forget it! read more

This is a great place to go for a tree. We wanted a fresh grand fir tree, bailed for easy transport. Not many places in Salem bale trees. So we called and got very cheerful and helpful help on the phone. When we arrived, they didn't have a precut grand but DAVE volunteered to go down into the field and cut one for us!! While we waited we looked in the small, reasonably priced gift shop and stood by the very warm fire pit. Within a few minutes Dave returned with a great looking Grand Fir and asked if it was ok. We said it looked great and he quickly shook it and bailed it while we paid and we were on our way!!! We don't normally write reviews but this place was fantastic! read more

With being new to Salem, I was happy to find that the Skyline tree farm is just a small drive from our house in south Salem and has the best selection and prices. My kids especially loved the cookies and cider that we enjoyed while they tied and shook our trees. My only complaint is that the tree plots weren't labeled clearly so it was hard to figure out which type of tree we were looking at as well as the price. That said, we will definitely be getting our trees here again in the future! read more

We came across Skyline Christmas Tree Farm in the newspaper and decided to give it a try. We couldn't have been more pleased with the customer service, ease of cutting the tree, tree selection, cost, complimentary additions (coco, cider, cookies, photo opps with selfie sticks provided, honey samples, fire pit, etc!) and overall experience! I know they will be a successful farm and can't wait to see how they grow! We are definitely going back next year!!!!! My husband is temporarily disabled and we needed to find a place that would deliver a Christmas tree for us. Skyline did exactly that! We came to the farm, the kids and I chose and cut the tree while my husband waited by the bonfire, they shook and baled it for us, and later that evening they brought it to our house, for an extra $20. This was well worth it. The farm is run by pleasant, friendly people who offer "value added" treats like hot drinks, bonfire and cookies, plus some decorations and wreaths are also for sale. My only cautions: (a) they are only open on weekends, (b) it can get really busy here and the parking lot and lines can get nuts, so prepare to be patient, (c) it's muddy, so wear your knee-high rubber boots. Also, they don't have super-tall trees here. But the quality and price of the trees they do have (about 6' max) are excellent. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. The tree farm itself looked great! Big upcoming selection of trees, awesome barn.. But this is more about our experience. I was out with my mom trying to find a new tree after having no luck with the first tree hat ended up being a sick tree. So when we got in touch with the farm of the first tree we got (tucker tree farm) & they were great and even gave us a refund! They let us search for a new one but most all of the size were looking for was gone unfortunately so they suggested other farms to try. One of them was skyline tree farm..the owner said that they were still open and have a great selection. We were so excited to have a second option to find a great tree. So we get there and the gate is open even though there is a sin off to the side that says closed it does not make it clear that the whole farm is closed only that the other road into/out of the parking area is closed. So we pull in going off of what we were told form the other farm owner. My mother gets out of the car to check to make sure that they are in fact open (there was another group in the parking area so it looked good). She found a man (older I think) unloading his truck or something, I was at the car I didn't see, she chatted with him for a minute saying that the lady from tucker farms said to come over here because they have great selection. The man informed her that they were in fact closed for the season. My mother was confused as to why the owner from the las replace would tel us they're open..simple mistake. So she ended the conversation and turned to leave. I was right around the corner as she was walking towards me I heard the man yell out "that's why you call a place before just showing up" in an extremely disrespectful, rude tone. The conversation was done. My mother was not pressing the matter, they're closed so we were going to move on. I heard this and it took everything in me not to go around that corner and give him a peice of my mind. That's my mother, who's in pain by the way but still out trying to find the perfect Christmas tree with no luck so far. And this man so SO RUDE for no reason! Where is the Christmas spirit from the owner or worker or whoever he was, on the Christmas farm? It made me sad as well that this is how they're treating their potential customers even if they're closed for this season. He could've been much more polite no matter if he was having a bad day or what....that is terrible customer service. I was just amazed out how disrespectful that man was. It really put a damper on our day and mood for trying to find a tree. Thankfully we did eventually after searching for hours. The tree lot right next to blue Thai BBQ on commercial is fantastic! The dad and son are so friendly and I loved chatting with the father! They have BEAUTIFUL healthy nordmans! We found a GOEGEOUS tree! It was so worth the wait. We as a family have not gotten a tree from a lot maybe ever but we definitely recommend those guys that own the lot! Anyways. It was just really sad and frustrating experience at skyline Christmas tree farm. I truly hope this is not the norm and that maybe that man can find some kindness and Christmas spirit for the next weary Christmas tree hunter. read more
