Every time, the staff is soooo helpful with all my questions, and I learn a little something each time I leave too. On my recent trip, I saw a gorgeous Fall planter in Fine Gardening's magazine, I brought the photo in and asked for all the plants in that photo. They helped me pick out every one and gave me a little knowledge on the different ornamental grasses too. Kraemer's blows Al's garden center out of the water... they are local and prices reasonable, they are now my go to for my planting needs. Can't say enough great things about them!

Still just this one location makes it more than worth the drive. The front garden is absolutely lovely with little walking paths and a variety of flowers in all different colors. To the East, they have rows and rows of blooming peony fields that you are free to walk through. It's peaceful, smells amazing and makes for some really good photos. Did I mention it was free? I believe they were getting ready for an event the day that we visited, so we probably only spent about 30 to 40 minutes here but it was quite enjoyable. They had a good selection of potted peonies, cut flowers and other items for sale and they also had picnic tables. So if you wanted to bring a little lunch and just enjoy nature, it seems like they would welcome that. If you're in the area during peony season, this location is definitely worth the stop!

My son's favorite activity was the ball launcher and my daughter's was seeing/petting all the animals. We are repeat customers who went this year and spent close to $400. 2 of the trees were over $100 and we were disappointed at the lack of roots. We are babying them trying to get them to survive. The savings and good deals don't look so good when you get a bad deal. All sales final, the sign says. Next time, no balled and burlap trees. We will be more careful in the future.

I visited toward the end of August and the fields were at 75% bloom. I had a wonderful time walking around and enjoying the gorgeous flowers. Be sure to bring the following items if you visit the dahlia fields: - Hat: I visited on a warm, sunny day in August. The fields are beautiful, but there is no shade as you walk through. - Sunscreen: This goes along with a hat-- you don't want to get sunburn as you enjoy the beautiful dahlias. - Water bottle: On a hot day, you definitely don't want to get dehydrated! - Comfortable shoes: You will be walking through the dirt paths as you visit the fields, so be sure to bring your most comfortable shoes. - Money: There's a cute souvenir shop and also a few food trucks available with yummy snack. Most of these accept cash, card, Apple Pay, etc. There's also a covered area with tables for you to sit down, enjoy your snacks, and rest, especially on a warm day. There was plenty of parking when I visited on a Thursday, however, I can see how it could get busy and crowded on a weekend. Regardless, there were several parking areas, plus it's free!! For restrooms, your only option will be porta potties right next to the parking area. Bring hand sanitizer, just in case.

Great selection of small annuals and perennials to create the perfect sun, shade, or combination basket. For us in the Pacific Northwest, it is a rite of spring to make the trip to Country Garden and build our spring baskets. Your basket then hangs in their greenhouse until Mother's Day, growing in the perfect environment to be ready to take home and hang with pride. In the fall it is a build or buy for a fall basket that will make it through the winter. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and you will have a wonderful flowering basket to show for your efforts.
