I have always had great service and great food at this location. The dining room is spacious and bright. Lots of options for booths or tables and the staff keep an eye to really make sure the tables are cleaned and turned over quickly. You are promptly greeted when you arrive and can choose where you would like to sit. When the server first comes to your table, they have the oyster crackers ready. They will also bring you extra if you ask nicely. (why is it that the oyster crackers from the restaurant packages taste so much better than any other oyster cracker?!) The specialty here is obviously the chili three, four or five ways. But you can also get hot dogs, fries and a variety of other items if the famous spaghetti chili isn't your thing. A great location for some tasty food. read more

I ordered a cheese coney (no onions or mustard) and the chili cheese fries. The hot dog bun was a little hard, but the hot dog and chili were good, and the cheese tasted fresh. The chili cheese fries were a bit soggy, and the texture of the fries threw me off a little. The service, however, was excellent. Our server stayed on top of everything -- drinks, taking our order, refills, and checking in to make sure everything was to our liking. The ambience was relaxed and casual, making it a great place to sit down and talk with my date. Overall, a nice experience with great service and solid food. read more

I am totally disappointed in the Skyline on Rt 125 and 10 Mile. The food is inconsistent. The 3, 4 and 5 ways almost never have the proper amount of chili on them. Tonight, 4-16-26,I ordered a large juicy 5 way with onions on the side.. What I received was a 4 way. The onions were on the side but no beans. I always pull off about 25% of the spaghetti on the large so I get the proper chili/spaghetti ratio that I like. Even after reducing the spaghetti the amount of chili was ridiculously low. I know I did not receive 8 oz of chili on this order which I was told was the amount in their large ladle. Corporate Skyline should audit this location for proper procedures on a regular basis. Maybe corporate can straighten them out. Good bye Skyline hello Goldstar for this chili lover. read more

There are some people you encounter in everyday life who quietly reset your expectations--not through grand gestures or loud charisma, but through a steady, unmistakable quality of character. Austin, a young man working at Skyline, is one of those rare individuals. From the moment you walk in, there's a subtle sense that things are running just a little smoother, a little warmer, a little more human--and before long, you realize he's a big part of why. He doesn't just "do his job"; he inhabits it with a kind of attentiveness that's increasingly uncommon. It's in the way he greets people--not rushed, not robotic, but genuinely present. You get the feeling he sees you, not just another order number or face in line. What stands out most about Austin is his consistency. Anyone can be friendly on a good day, but he carries himself with the same level of care and professionalism no matter how busy things get. Whether the place is packed or quiet, whether he's juggling multiple tasks or just helping a single customer, he maintains a calm, grounded demeanor. There's no trace of irritation or indifference--only focus, patience, and a kind of quiet pride in doing things well. And he does things well. Orders are handled accurately and efficiently, but never at the expense of warmth. He manages that difficult balance between speed and quality--the mark of someone who truly understands service. It's not just about getting people through the line; it's about making sure they leave feeling taken care of. Beyond the technical side of the job, there's something even more impressive: his attitude. Austin carries himself with humility, but not passivity. There's a quiet confidence in him--a sense that he knows who he is and what he brings to the table, without needing to announce it. He listens attentively, responds thoughtfully, and treats people with a level of respect that feels genuine rather than performative. You also notice how he interacts with others around him. Whether it's coworkers or customers, he contributes to a positive atmosphere without forcing it. There's no showiness, no trying to steal the spotlight--just steady, reliable presence. That kind of energy tends to elevate everyone else without them even realizing it. It's easy to underestimate how much impact someone like Austin can have in a place like Skyline. But over time, it becomes clear: he's part of what makes the experience memorable. Not in a flashy way, but in a way that lingers. You leave not just satisfied with your meal, but with a sense that you were treated well by someone who takes pride in being good at what they do. In a world where so much customer service feels rushed, distracted, or transactional, Austin stands out as a reminder of how meaningful simple excellence can be. He represents a kind of work ethic and personal integrity that you don't forget easily. If Skyline has more people like him coming up, they're in very good hands. read more

ordered chili cheese fries and received half an ordered and charged full price. 8 bucks too get roughly five bites is insane. I will not be going back, absolutely insane to think that was ok. I'll go to gold star or other locations but this one will never be going to again and I've been coming to this location for years. I work right up the road but I won't be taking any colleagues or customers here again! read more

I don't normally buy cincy chili out anymore since Gold-star and skyline are very skimpy on the chili. When I went to the Eastgate Skyline location I got about one tablespoon spoon of chili on each coney. These had plenty of chili! Everything tastes fresh and was super yummy read more

I'll be honest, this isn't my jam. I tried Skyline Chili back in 2014 and now I tried it again and my mind still has not changed lol. It's just not for me - the chili tastes so different than what I'm used to and I feel like.. there's a lot of cumin in there.. I think? not sure lol. But anywho.. this place was poppin' and a lot of local folks come here, so they must really enjoy it. The staff was nice and the food came out fairly quick so no complaints here, but the chili is just not for me. read more

Skyline Chili's famous three way has been rated by USA Today the top regional fast food in America....two years running! Since Skyline has a few clueless detractors I'm going to tell you what Skyline Chili is and is not. First, Cincinnati chili is not a meal in itself, a meal you would eat as a stew all by itself in a bowl. Cincinnati chili is more a condiment or a sauce. It enhances other food and takes it to another level much as a meaty spaghetti sauce does to plain spaghetti. A normal person would not want to slurp spaghetti sauce in a bowl all by itself. Nor would one expect to eat Cincinnati chili by itself. That is not its purpose. If you are looking for "regular" chili...more like a stew with large chunks of vegetables and meat...look somewhere else. Secondly, Cincinnati chili has more exotic ingredients among which are allspice, cinnamon, and sometimes chocolate. This is chili handed down by Greek immigrants. Third, the Cincinnati chili hotdogs are found in a steamed bun. The dogs are specially made to agree with the chili sauce. They have no hard casing and have no "snap." I recently saw some numbskull on YouTube who reviews food around the country complaining that the Skyline hotdogs had no "snap." That shows just how clueless he is. The last thing you want in a Skyline chili dog is a hard casing around your dog or a greasy hotdog. Yuck! For people with the acquired taste the Skyline three way or four way or five way and the Skyline chili dog are pure heaven. Today in Amelia my three way was wonderful. The very thinly shaved cheddar cheese was great on the dish and the Cincinnati chili was fabulous. I rate it an "A." The chili dog was delicious also. Yeah, they're a little on the small side and one can eat three or four of them, but they are so good. Rate them an "A" also. Today the restaurant was really hopping, but the service was quick and the waitress pleasant and efficient. A great experience for fast food. I cannot think of another fast food restaurant I would rather go to. I rate this fast food joint FOUR AND A QUARTER STARS...that being the highest rating I've ever given a fast food restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed it. As far as USA Today is concerned...somebody must know something! read more

The service was fast the food was hot and fresh and most importantly the staff was kind and friendly. I was happy to be greeted and thanked. It seems as if customer service has become nonexistent lately. Here everyone was kind and attentive! The drive thru was moving fast. read more

A Cincinnati staple. Great chili, great coneys, and a super friendly staff. Definitely a store I have frequented many, many times over the last 14 years. read more

One of the worst skyline's in all of Cincinnati. Every time I rarely eat there it's a let down . Its consistently bad , who ever owns it or has been running it for a while sucks. They give old chilito's they keep luke warm in tin foil. The chili cheese fries this location always gives is half the potion any other skyline would give it's pretty dumb, they get plenty of buisness no need to skimp people food to make even more money. read more

Skyline Chili - Compare this to the eastgate or any other skyline its laughable. - Fast Food Near Me - Amelia, Ohio

We frequently visit usually always in the evening and it's great. Evening servers are always genuine and friendly because they enjoy the job. Stopped today for lunch and ordered our typical orders but when the server who seemed to be pretending to be nice the whole time brought the bill my child's items were all rang in separately instead of how it usually is being a kids meal (he's 3) I asked her genuinely confused if what he ordered was the same thang as on the kids meal just without a bun. She responded "technically yes" as she shrugged her shoulders and said "I can change it if you want me to" I said no it's okay and she walked away. I was going back and forth with my little one telling him to eat his food and she came back with a new bill loudly announcing "here's a new bill I changed it and it took off $1.48" I said oh okay thank you and attempted asking her for a box for my little ones food and she walked away ignoring me completely. Location is great and night shift is nothing shy of a pleasure to dine with but this day shift could use some work. I've served and I've never been rude to someone like that or flat out ignored them. read more

It doesn't matter where in Queen City that you go, Skyline will always be dependable. This location is no different. We had great service the minute we walked in the door. What is also somewhat unique about this spot, is the nice sit-down atmosphere that it entails. Skyline over Gold Star any day of the week! read more

I really like this location. They have a convenient drive thru (I actually have never been inside). They are quite speedy even if there is a line and they have never forgotten any aspect of my go-to order which is a large 5 way with habanero cheese and a large sweet tea. They even throw in a bunch of crackers and hot sauce. Friendly workers as well. read more

Food is always good and hot and the drive-thru is pretty quick. Asked for extra crackers and she was happy to give me some. Bowl of chili seemed more greasy/runny than usual but tasted fine. 3 ways spaghetti was tender, not dried out. Pepsi products are always a + !! read more

Skyline Chili - Original three way - Fast Food Near Me - Amelia, Ohio

My mother and I have been regulars here for years. This was our first time having issues at this location. We walked in and were greeted by more than 3 employees telling us to sit anywhere we like. They were really busy and there was only 1 booth clean that was a larger one for 6 people. We sat down and watched as 4 other new tables came in, ordered, and received their food. Multiple servers looked at us and just kept working. Obviously no one knew who was supposed to wait on us. We decided to leave and no one even noticed that we didn't get service. We went to the Eastgate location and got great service. That may be our last time at this location. It will be for a while for sure. read more

Definitely the best Skyline in Clermont County. Very friendly staff, Never had a mistake with my meal, Properly run and efficient drive thru service. Nothing gets better than that. You'll see me here at least twice a week. read more

I had a bittersweet experience today. I gave four stars because usually I come here and have no problem, however the young woman that took my order at the drive thru was not the nicest today. Firstly, as I ordered at the speaker, after every item I announced she responded with "anything else?," which led me to feel slightly rushed. Once I proceeded with my third item she responded with my total. The question that ran through my head was - what if I wanted more? I shook it off. Shortly after, I arrived at the second window as no one occupied the first window, which was not verbally established at the drive thru speaker, as would be preferred. I waited about 5 minutes, which was no problem for me. The transaction occurred in few words, as I was not greeted until my food appeared to be ready and the 5 minutes were concluding, nor was I asked if I wanted crackers or hot sauce. However as for the sweet part of my bittersweet moment, the food was delicious as always. read more

So very disappointed...the cheese on our 3-ways was ground up in little bits. Nasty! We told our server who said they got a new cheese grinder and that's what it's been looking like. She offered 10% off which I thought was cheap. We go up to the counter to pay and tell the cashier who I thought would maybe give us one free, or something. But, we see the cheese is fine! We tell the cashier about how disgusting our cheese was and she said, sounds like you had the bottom of the barrel, someone has to get it! What!!??? No sorry, nothing! We won't be back. read more

They gave my wife and me Dr. Pepper instead of Diet Pepsi. I told the waiter it tasted like cherry. He brought us two more glasses of the same thing. We told him again it tasted like cherry. He got angry and said, "We don't have Cherry Pepsi." I took the two glasses over to the manager. She said the same thing, and in a particularly hostile way. Both the waiter and the manager told me that they don't drink pop. I said you could smell the cherry. She sniffed the glass and nastily said she didn't smell it. I told them to taste it. The waiter poured some pop out of a different dispenser and said it tasted fine. Neither of these clowns seemed to know that Dr. Pepper looks just like Diet Pepsi but has a cherry flavor. We've been back twice since then. We love the food. They keep giving us dirty looks. Nasty people. read more

I stopped in on Thursday July 5, 2018 in the early afternoon. The food was good although one of my Coney buns was completely mangled. Dont be scared of the bib. Put one on to protect your shirt and go to work. Best chili in the world. I like to sit at the bar the people at this particular skyline are extremely friendly and always remember me when I come in and ask me how I've been doing. I love skyline. The food here is tasty and fast. This one had friendly servers and was very clean. Great work!

When born and raised on Skylne Chili, you learn which stores have the best and which ones don't meet the mark. The Skyline in Amelia has been a favorite of my family and mine for years now. It's close to home and always offers a friendly staff. I also have to give this Skyline my own "Most Improved" award. For a few years the restaurant always smelled of cleaning product and was quite humid inside (to the point where the windows were foggy) and its chili was not at its peak. However in the past few months this location has taken a turn for the better! I'm pleased to say this Skyline now lives up to the memories of my favorite childhood restaurant! This is the location I now take all of my friends from out of town when they come to visit! A great place to share and make memories with those you care for. read more
