I don't normally buy cincy chili out anymore since Gold-star and skyline are very skimpy on the chili. When I went to the Eastgate Skyline location I got about one tablespoon spoon of chili on each coney. These had plenty of chili! Everything tastes fresh and was super yummy

I'll be honest, this isn't my jam. I tried Skyline Chili back in 2014 and now I tried it again and my mind still has not changed lol. It's just not for me - the chili tastes so different than what I'm used to and I feel like.. there's a lot of cumin in there.. I think? not sure lol. But anywho.. this place was poppin' and a lot of local folks come here, so they must really enjoy it. The staff was nice and the food came out fairly quick so no complaints here, but the chili is just not for me.

Skyline Chili's Three Way: spaghetti, Cincinnati chili, and shredded cheddar cheese. Today this was great! Rate it an "A." So good.

Skyline Chili's famous three way has been rated by USA Today the top regional fast food in America....two years running! Since Skyline has a few clueless detractors I'm going to tell you what Skyline Chili is and is not. First, Cincinnati chili is not a meal in itself, a meal you would eat as a stew all by itself in a bowl. Cincinnati chili is more a condiment or a sauce. It enhances other food and takes it to another level much as a meaty spaghetti sauce does to plain spaghetti. A normal person would not want to slurp spaghetti sauce in a bowl all by itself. Nor would one expect to eat Cincinnati chili by itself. That is not its purpose. If you are looking for "regular" chili...more like a stew with large chunks of vegetables and meat...look somewhere else. Secondly, Cincinnati chili has more exotic ingredients among which are allspice, cinnamon, and sometimes chocolate. This is chili handed down by Greek immigrants. Third, the Cincinnati chili hotdogs are found in a steamed bun. The dogs are specially made to agree with the chili sauce. They have no hard casing and have no "snap." I recently saw some numbskull on YouTube who reviews food around the country complaining that the Skyline hotdogs had no "snap." That shows just how clueless he is. The last thing you want in a Skyline chili dog is a hard casing around your dog or a greasy hotdog. Yuck! For people with the acquired taste the Skyline three way or four way or five way and the Skyline chili dog are pure heaven. Today in Amelia my three way was wonderful. The very thinly shaved cheddar cheese was great on the dish and the Cincinnati chili was fabulous. I rate it an "A." The chili dog was delicious also. Yeah, they're a little on the small side and one can eat three or four of them, but they are so good. Rate them an "A" also. Today the restaurant was really hopping, but the service was quick and the waitress pleasant and efficient. A great experience for fast food. I cannot think of another fast food restaurant I would rather go to. I rate this fast food joint FOUR AND A QUARTER STARS...that being the highest rating I've ever given a fast food restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed it. As far as USA Today is concerned...somebody must know something!

Compare this to the eastgate or any other skyline its laughable.

One of the worst skyline's in all of Cincinnati. Every time I rarely eat there it's a let down . Its consistently bad , who ever owns it or has been running it for a while sucks. They give old chilito's they keep luke warm in tin foil. The chili cheese fries this location always gives is half the potion any other skyline would give it's pretty dumb, they get plenty of buisness no need to skimp people food to make even more money.

Need one of these in Yakima Washington

This place is a must have when we visit cincinnati ohio. Everytime I go I say iam going to try to order something new but I always end up ordering the same thing.

So this is for stars for awesome customer service, very friendly staff, a simple process, and the samples that I tried were good enough that I would be upset if my food turned out like that. This is a pretty common concept, and there's a chain of these around the areas , but this is the only one I've ever been to. You go in, everything is free portioned out and color-coded for you to just scoop as you go and make the meals ready to freeze, with some slight room for variation on your part. Don't like onions? Don't include, wanted a little spicier? Throw some ice Redpepper in there. You can't holistically change the proteins, but they did say they would work with you on vegetables and sides. For instance if you don't like green beans you could sub that dishes green beans for one of the other vegetables that week, and they are always willing to do that if you give them a heads up and for notice. This is important for me because I eat a very specific diet a lot of the time, and would not be willing to pay for food that I would meet. The prices are little higher than what I would like per serving, but with the introductory offer it works out to be a little over four dollars a serving. Without being a subscription, you can start and stop whenever you'd like, and buy food based on what you want to eat, this is a pretty good solution. Again I've yet to taste it yet, but I did try samples at the customer appreciation event back in June and thought it was a pretty good deal, will follow up whenever I actually thrown in the oven!

I LOVE Dream Dinners! It seriously changed my life! My husband and I both work insane amounts of…read morehours every week and just don't have time/energy to put thought into our meals so we were eating Macaroni and Cheese or hot dogs every night. Then we went home for Christmas in December and stayed with family who made us dinner every night and my 5 year old cried at every meal because it wasn't Mac and Cheese or hot dogs...so something had to change! Now that I have found Dream Dinners my husband and kids are excited to come home for dinner now and now my 5 year old is excited to try new foods. So here is how it works: 1 - Go to their website. You can make an appointment online - look on their site for the Introductory Offer. It's about $75 for 18 servings (6 meals - 3 servings each). 2 - Go to your appointment. Upon entering you will notice that the store is amazingly organized - and this is coming from someone who is obsessed with organization! You will have your own drawer with your name on it to put your personal belongings and this will also have the cards of the meals that you selected on your online order. 3 - Make your meals. There is a "station" for each meal with the recipe of how to make it. All of the ingredients are laid out for you so all you need to do is scoop them into a bag. You can customize the amounts of spices you want to use to fit your preferences. When you are done making your meals you can place your order for your next appointment, sample food for next month's menu, have a cup of coffee, all while the amazing staff packs up all of your meals and wheels them out to your car for you. 4 - Go home and make your meals. The direction cards are so easy to follow and most meals take very little time to prepare. That's it! So easy! Yes, it is a little more expensive than if you were to buy groceries and make it yourself but the time that it will save you is invaluable AND it is still MUCH less expensive than eating out every night or hiring a personal chef to cook for you! If you are like me and either don't like cooking or just don't have the time, it's worth it to check it out. It might just make your life a little better too!

First, foremost, and most obviously, this is a Shell Station. However, inside you will see that there are three service minicounters - one for Shell, one for The Growler Station, and one for Hot Bretzels. So what's a bretzel? OK, since you asked so nicely -- a bretzel is nyc style hot pretzel dough formed into the shape of a hot dog bun, and can be eaten as a fairly thick breadstick or used as a hot dog bun. They make them here in the classic pretzel fashion with big crystals of salt sprinkled on, but for those worrying about their blood pressure, they also make an unsalted variety. Plain, they go for about a buck fifty each. The bretzels are hit and miss, just like Patricia said, based primarily on how fresh the bretzels are. You can buy them with or without salt, with or without a dipping sauce, and with or without a sausage/hot dog of some sort. I like the beer brat on the salted bretzel bets so far, no dipping sauce needed. In the mornings, a egg-based variety is also offered. They dont seem to have a dedicated grill or flat top, so the sausages you are getting (there are usually 4-5 varieties available) seem to be precooked (possibly elsewhere) and reheated (read as: microwaved) on demand. So - nothing to make a special visit over. But if you are in the area and just thinking about grabbing a hot dog, this is a nice alternative to the dogs on rollers at UDF and the like Service can be iffy at times as well. Many times I have been in, there is just one employee working all three counters - not 1 each, 1 total. If there is a line for gas or beer (growler) refills in such a case, you might be waiting a bit for your bretzel.

I prefer authentic but usually choose something like street tacos in the chains. The complimentary Chips & Salsa came out immediately and they were ok. The chips were warm and fresh. The salsa was ok. I ordered the Chorizo Tacos. My husband ordered the Chile Poblanos with Shrimp and a beer. Neither one of us liked our meals. My chorizo was flavorless. My husband said his lacked any real flavor and the shrimps were rubbery. He was starving but so turned off by his food he couldn't eat it. We both boxed up our meals and then ended up throwing them away without touching them. My husband said he'd never go back because - as I stated above - "it is the worst Mexican food" he has ever had. The service was quick and with a smile but the food is why we wouldn't return.
