I had heard great things about this place for over five years now, and I was not disappointed! We came early Saturday afternoon so it was not too busy. Unfortunately, they were out of the Red Blend & Pinot Noir. We ended up tasting the White Blend, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosé, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. My favorites were the Rosé and Cab by far. My husband also enjoyed the Merlot. Most of their grapes are flown in from Napa and blended on site but they do add their own Concord grapes to some of the options. Outside of tastings, they also sell by the glass and bottle with no recorking fee. They have a decent food menu and offer live music on the back patio quite often. Their space was huge with multiple rooms to host events and they had an outdoor event space for weddings.

The hazy was horrible, the brown was passable and the lager was just okay. Worst part was the staff wasn't very knowledgeable and you had a confusing part about bringing food in from outside or next door. The food next door was just average Italian. So not really going to recommend coming to this place and instead would say look for another place. Not sure why so high rated on Yelp

Quad Cities Magic Some put you on your ass drinks…read moreWhat a happy find Did a long road trip on a short weekend this past one. Rochester for work to La Crosse for a night to Quad Cities for a night and back home to Minneapolis. Stumbled across it by happenstance. This place is definitely worthy of a full five stars. I've had mead before and liked it, but this was the best by a mile. Looked up at the menu when I walked in and the lowest ABV is 8.5 and it goes all the way up to 14. Given the high ABV you get a short pour. Pretty standard. Had two. The Blue Haze and the Cosmic Cherry. Both were fantastic, but that Cosmic Cherry was the stuff all right. One of the tastiest taps I've had in quite awhile. Like drinking flavored honey and getting a super strong BUZZ. Think I gave it a 4.75 on Untappd. In retrospect, no doubt, a five. Ambience is super cool as well. Feel like a cooler person just for having been there. That mead made me awesome!

For Adventurous Brewing Steve and I shared the Adventurous Warrior which is an IPA of the Imperial sort. Characteristics to pick up as flavor goes with this brewery are juicy, fruity and hoppy. The texture of the beer is smooth and soft. A lot of these flavors are typical with IPA'S so I wouldn't go as far to say anything was groundbreaking here but the IPA was enjoyable enough and hopefully a return trip can fall into place to try out more of their beers.

Starter was the beer cheese nachos with pulled pork. That is honestly much better than most nachos I get. The beer cheese is tasty, the pork was generous and the bbq sauce added a nice spicy-sweetness to it. For my main, I opted for the salmon with bourbon glaze. It was prepared to medium but still tender and flakey (done but not overdone). The green beans were seasoned well and had just enough crunch left to them. Rice was nothing special.
