It has been 31 years since I had to use a laundromat. But a broken washer at my apartment building gave me no choice ( my laundry pair is in my storage room because of no hook up available in my apartment or storage room). This is my 4 load weekend so since I drive pass here a few times a week and it is just a mile north of my place, I loaded up the car and came up. Either laundromats have gotten a lot better in 31 years, or they up their game because of the great neighborhood. Clean, well decorated and bright with front loaders that range from 2 to 8 load size. My 4 loads fit into two 3 loaders for $4 each. The dryer choices were 5 loads or 8 loads that you brought time by the quarter. 7 minutes if you use the 5 loader and 5 minutes for the 8 loader. I dry on either low or medium. My total was $12.50 to do the 4 loads. Tables and laundry carts are plenty along with plastic benches or metal ones. Free WiFi, coffee, water, and cookies. Even bottles of hand lotion to use. If you forget something, the sell supplies at a reasonable price. Big screen TVs, game table, and video game to pass the time. If I need to go to a laundromat, I will be back. It is good to have this nice of a laundromat so close. read more

CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN I found this laundry mat based on Yelp reviews and a Google search. It is a newer establishment with new washer and drying machines. There are approximately 31 washers and 36 dryers. The washers can handle 30lb to 50lb loads. The largest machine costs $9 then $7 then $5. The dryers can handle two sizes and costs .25¢ per five minutes. I was impressed with the following: 1. Cleanliness 2. New machines 3. Number of machines 4. Decorative arts...not that it is necessary but is nice 5. Convenient parking lot and location 6. Hidden cameras for safety 7. Adorable island with sink, free coffee, bottled H20 8. Onsite management for assistance 9. Plenty of carts 10. Easy row style layout makes it easy to get around The only cons I have are the following: 1. Women's rest room toilet is not industrial and does not flush well. The water pressure is also too weak. 2. The price of the washers is not cheap however it is worth it for the quality of machines and caliber of the establishment. I would definitely come here again! read more

1. No one returns calls when you have a complaint. I put money in a machine and no staff person was here to assist me. I called the "complaint" line to inquire how to get my money back. The young lady stated that she'd have her boss call the same day! Never received that call. I called two other times and got no answer. 2. During a pandemic there should be hand soap for folks to wash there hands. Twice I've come to the green field location and they put fabric softener in a soap bottle... 3. They have dexterpay as a way to pay via Apple or google pay. It doesn't work. And when you ask for assistant the workers can't help you. Either because they don't want to or because they don't know how. I use to like this facility, now I'm looking for a new place to wash my clothes. Very nice laundromat - clean, plenty of areas to sit/fold laundry, televisions and free water bottles are a nice touch. Unfortunately giving a lower review due to the employees at the establishment. I feel as though I was a victim of racism. In the photo I have posted with my review, you will see that there is no mention of masks required to enter the establishment, which makes sense as our governor has taken away that requirement if you are vaccinated. I was asked to put on a mask, and pointed out that there was no signage to let me know this was required. The woman said there was, but the pictures of the front door do not lie. I also looked around the interior and did not see any signage there either. She again asked me to put on my mask though there were others that were also not wearing and also not asked. I was the only one of my ethnicity in the establishment and the only one asked, which I can only chalk up to racism. Truly sad in todays environment. read more

This is by far one of the nicest laundromats I have ever seen: clean, pretty, everything in order, and totally COVID compliant. They even have free disposable plastic cups next to the coin machine so that you can carry your $10-$20 worth of quarters around. Jumbo washers and dryers, two great bathrooms. This laundromat is right off of 696 & Greenfield Rd in Oak Park! It is SO CUTE. Brand new and VERY clean. They did a wonderful job using such a small space to incorporate many washers and dryers. The prices are average for a laundromat in this area and the staff keeps the location very tidy. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean as well! They have wagons and carts to transport your clothes easily. They have a few arcade games to mee your little ones busy! Definitely would recommend. read more
