This has to be the smallest stadium that I been in. Capacity is only 4200 and it's old. There is a little wear and tear around the concourse level right by our seats. We sat right behind home plate in row 1 @ $17 each. On afternoon games check out the picnic area down the right field. It's covered and you still have a nice view of the field. For what it's worth, this is located in a very rural part of north western NJ surrounded by cornfields. Third ballpark in NJ that I've visited. This is a trek from central Jersey to get here. For us about an hour & 15 minutes. Believe this place has a Halloween & Christmas festival.

To say that I was unimpressed by the Christmas lights show is an understatement! You pay $20 to ride around to see the most boring light display ever created! The road is muddy and bumpy and some of the lights were not even working! I'm sure asking for at least $18 back would've been frowned upon, but I sure felt like asking for it. There's a village to walk through and plenty of photo ops available. The snack stand was open for cold/hot drinks, hot food snacks and marshmallows for roasting. I paid $2.50 for a small hot chocolate that was made with a Swiss miss packet and lukewarm water. They had a few vendors there selling things that nobody really wants, and there was also a huge TRUMP 2020 sign on display, and a table full of MAGA gear, signs and whatnots. I won't be back. Ever.

10/21/21: My friend and I had gone to the walk thru Jack O'Lantern Experience ai Skylands. Timed Tickets were $19.00 pp. before 6:30 pm. I think very young children are free. We had a blast! There's over 6000 carved jack-o'-lanterns. These pumpkins are the real deal. Nothing fake about them. The Jack O'Lantern experience consists of numerous themes. The displays were accompanied with their music themes. Here are just a few of the Themes: -Jurassic Park- Each dinosaur was made up of numerous carved pumpkins. -Solar System- 9 Pumpkin Planets starting with Mercury and finishing with Pluto. The Pluto pumpkin had the Walt Disney Pluto dog carving. - Superheroes- Batman and more! -Famous Couples- Prince Harry & Meghan Markle, Beyoncé & Jay Z and Miss Piggy and Kermit! -Oceanography- Jaws, Jellyfish and more.... Jaws was made up of many pumpkins. -Designer Section- Many high end designer names on pumpkins displayed on an entire seating section. "Vogue" playing as background music! -Sports-Pumpkin Baseball Players in a dugout! It's incredible how talented people are to do pumpkin carvings. In addition, the art work it takes to actually preserve the actual Pumpkin. A lot went into creating the Jack O'Lantern experience. I think it's about a mile walk through. It took maybe close to an hour. It's at a very relaxed pace. You're able to enjoy all the displays. Concessions are available. Overall Customer service is good. A large parking area is available. it's a fun filled evening for all ages!

HALLOWEEN REVIEW: This review is for the October pumpkin walk through. It was $19 a person and we drove about an hour to see the jack o lanterns. They had a set up of some smaller carnival rides, and a few options for food. The website says the walkthrough takes about 45 minutes. We finished in under 20. There just wasn't much to it. All the pumpkins are fake (understandable since this is a month long event and the pumpkins wouldn't last). We had great weather so it was a nice night to walk around but I don't think it was worth it for adults. They had a lot of different themed pumpkin areas (dinosaurs, Disney characters, etc) but I just found it to be lacking. I think if you have small kids and live close by it's not bad for a night out but we did the Blaze pumpkin experience in Sleepy Hallow, NY and found that to be a much better time. The end of the walk through had lots of seating overlooking the stadium with live music (a guy singing) and some options to try fall beers. I would not come back.

We went to the stadium to see the Jack o Lantern Experience and had a nice time. I was impressed with how much work went into setting this thing up. It was a long walk through the park and there were lots of displays all along the route. It was so dark though I think they could have put some more effort into lighting up the path. About mid way through the walk there was a beer stand and I could barely see it until I got right up to it. At the end of the path there was a nice area with multiple fire pits, and they were selling s'mores kits for 5 dollars so you can sit make some s'mores and warm up after a long walk in the cold. There was also beer and other beverages you could enjoy. It was a nice time but I was surprised that not many people were there. There was a nice crowd by the fire pits but the Pumpkin Experience didn't seem to garner as much attention. Perhaps it was the 24 dollar charge which I think was a bit high for what you get. My phone went dead so I couldn't get much pics.

Same lights 4 years in a row. Line used to be down the road. Obvious why there is zero wait anymore. Trash

Gets worse and shorter every year. Never a new decoration added. Staff is so rude. It was only popular in 2020 because it was an outdoor event. Save your money and drive down your street and look at the lights.

Came here Thursday night and watched the Miners beat the Capitales 7-1 which included a triple play that the umpire miserably missed. On Thursday, it's "Thirsty Thursday" which offers $2 hot dogs, $2 soda, $1 domestic drafts and $3 imports. My son had Cheese fries, a hot dog, 2 sodas (I typically don't let him drink it but we were hanging out at the ballpark) and an ice cream. I had a few "Miner Ales" which were very good and tasted like Rolling Rock. We sat behind home plate and got two tickets for $30. The game was great, place was clean and where can you go catch a ballgame and eat and drink for $50 (I spent around $20 while we were there). It's a shame they don't get more fans as the venue and team are fantastic.

I've only been to Skylands for their Christmas light spectacular. For twenty dollars you can drive the family around a huge maze of cool christmas lights decor. A lot of cool themes are spread through out. While driving around, shut your vehicle lights off and drive with your parking lights. Or no lights at all because you are driving really slow riding the brakes. Helps to enjoy the lights more. The kids always love it. I drive really slow taking pictures and videos, making sure the kids see it all. Ask the guy as you pay, what station to tune the radio and enjoy some Christmas music. After all done with the maze, there is a Christmas village you can visit for your basic Christmas goodies. Nothing special I can say you have to go in for. A couple of cool pictures and a look around. Vendors do have food to offer but really pricey for things better made at home.

    Frozen In Ice Carnival

    Frozen In Ice Carnival

I came here on a Sunday morning with my girlfriend. Drove quite a bit too check this carnival out…read moreas it is located in a rural, isolated location. However, it is at a baseball stadium, presumably for the local semi-professional team. Firstly, if you plan on coming, grab discounted tickets by going into Walgreens. You'll save $5/ticket rather than buying at the door. Though it is an ice sculpture 'park' it is held all inside. Upon entering, the are a couple of 'carnival games' that you can play. This includes the mining/sifting activity you may have seen in museums and also throwing games to knock down cans and clowns. They also sell some food and beverages here. We ordered French fries, chicken tenders, and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was a small cup, something I don't think it's with sharing at all but getting your own. There were only three chicken tenders at $5 but they were only OK. The French fries I thought were actually pretty good. They had some other meals available but it's the typical food you find at carnivals, though maybe not as diverse. That is the upper level of the carnival. Heading down, you enter the main attraction. It's cold so make sure you bring your jacket, gloves, and also recommend snow pants for the kids. Reason being, it's a giant freezer for all the ice sculptures. There were ice slides, Merry go round, small Ferris wheel, bumper cart photo booth, etc. I uploaded some pictures for you to get an idea of what's there. There is a main slide made of ice. This is where the snow pants come in as they will let you slide much easier. In jeans, I wasn't sliding down much at all. They also had a few games here too, free to play (minus the admission cost of course). If you win, you get a ticket to play for free at the prize winning games at the upper level described previously. You can essentially keep playing until you win down stairs which is nice. The day we came there was also snow on the ground. You can actually walk onto the field and build snow man or have a quick snow ball fight. Overall, we were here for a little under an hour and a half. Though the ice sculptures are very nice and detailed, for the admission I thought we would see more. This is probably better for families and kids though. It was a cool thing to see but I don't think I would be coming back. Maybe if I have children in the future but not anytime soon. Just a bit expensive and far for something that I expected to have a bit more 'wow' factor. Again though, the sculptures were incredible. Just wish it was cheaper or more worth it having to drive so far.

They even have a milking barn, where they show you how cows get milked on farms. Along with that, they have tons of competitions amongst the animals. Tons of fun to watch!
