Overall was Benny was helpful, with caveats: 1. His price kept changing. At first, he quoted me $100 to program a key fob. After he started programming it, he increased the price to $125, claiming that the increase was due to an increase in the cost of the code needed to complete the programming. 2. Then he actually broke the law by charging me extra for using a credit card. Yes - that is ILLEGAL. See CRS 5-2-212, Surcharges on credit transactions - prohibition. 3. He asserted that I would be unable to program additional fobs without his assistance. However, the instructions to do it are in the owners manual, and they worked just fine. I needed him to program 1 - then I programmed 2 more by myself. read more

The guy was very unprofessional from the start. Called asking how much it would be and he said $45. Then told him we were at his shop and he raised his voice. Saying he was at another job that was more important. After calling me back he said he could meet me, and charged me twice the original price. I would not recommend nor will be going back. read more

Efficient and professional. Took a little longer than expected but I was satisfied and got the right key fob.

I'm a dumbass who locked myself out of my house when in a hurry. I called these dudes about 7:15 on a Sunday night, closest open locksmith to me. After he asked and I told him my address, he then asked what area I was in like he was checking to see if I was close enough to bother. I told him my area and then he asked for the address again since it was apparently within his range. He says it'll be about 25 minutes, even though he's only 12 minutes away. So I start waiting, on my porch in the cold. The one person who has a spare to my house hasn't answered the phone after 19 calls, hence my last ditch effort for the locksmith. They finally call at about 7:45 and says they're on the way, so I immediately call the locksmith back (he was supposed to be here about 5 minutes ago) and tell him someone is on the way with the key and his responses are: "Dude are you serious? I'm like, almost to your house" "Psht that's not cool man" Then he hung up. Look, I get that you were almost to my house and thank you for responding almost within the time frame you provided over the phone. But why be rude? One of the only reasons I'm posting this is just in case my house gets somehow vandalized; the dude honestly sounded so upset by the hassle I apparently caused him that I wouldn't put it past him to save my address for later. read more

They charged me $400 for a job they couldn't do and were supposed to refund me on July 28th, minus the $175 they are charging me just for getting my car open for me. I still have not gotten my refund and now I have to go to the BBB and small claims . read more

Pressured by locksmith to arrive earlier than scheduled so he could get to another job after mine. Locksmith still arrived 25 minutes earlier than the revised scheduled appointment time, was very impatient and telephoned me over and over until I answered the door. Also charged me more than double ($185.00) above the original estimate ($85.00) provided on the telephone for no technical reason. read more

Firstly, this guy is keeping my $408! and heads up the DEALERSHIP IS CHEAPER. Here is my story, I got in touch with Benny in August about getting a new key for my car. I went to his house to meet him ( does he even have an office?), he told me he did not have the key to my car but had a different and cheaper version. After trying to program it and rifling through my glove box for a "code", he was unsuccessful. While trying to program it he was very rough with my car and kept claiming "nissan is just so dumb". He told me he had to order the key and it would take a few days to get there. He had me pay for the key and labor ahead of time; which in hindsight I think was a red flag. After canceling on me 3 times and going on vacation for a week he did not get in touch with me. Thinking I had been scammed I tried to dispute the claim with my bank. He then got back to me and tried to charge me $75 to restock the key (the key I bought for $200) , he then said I just needed to send him a copy of my receipt and he would void the fee and return my money ( all of which is possible even if i disputed with my bank). The receipt was a carbon copy of a handwritten receipt he gave me. After he found out I talked with my bank he was even ruder, instead of confirming with my bank that I could be refunded, he had visa take the entire 90 days to deny my claim and told me it wasnt up to him any more and it was MY FAULT. Because he charged me through square my bank could do nothing about it. On several occasions, CHASE bank told me that they had sent the money back to the merchant. He denies having the money claiming square has it and Chase has not sent the paperwork, which is false. I contacted both parties who said the merchant had the funds, and a simple google search will tell you that the merchant has the ability to refund the money at any point, to which I would get the money. Instead he waited so that he would be able to keep the funds; once the bank officially denied the claim I got in contact with him and he told me his "book keeper would look into it." I texted him again a week later and the "bookkeeper was on vacation" and a week later I have now sent several texts and he has ignored all of them. No key and no services cost me $408! -- read more

Beware - DO NOT hire Benny. Our company hired him to install panic door lock bars on the front door of our building. We are now out several thousand dollars and still do not have a functioning front door lock after. He was very unprofessional, not only did it take him several months to finally come in and do the work, he continually told us he would return to finish the job and never did. He has changed his company name, he was previously operating under Asset Security Services. Watch out and DO NOT work with Benny read more
