My husband and I went for the first time 2 years ago and just had to go again. The first time was amazing, everything went perfect! Our second time skydiving was not just amazing, it was inspirational. We found a $25 coupon online and when checking it, noticed a couple bears off to the side. Turns out, for $20, you purchase a bear that is in a plastic bag and a strap to secure him to you while you jump out of the plane with your instructor and then they take and donate it to a children's hospital. Yes, this bear jumps with you, safe and sound under your harness!! After your jump, you fill out a card, just a little message to the child and they take the bear (that is still in plastic so it stays as sterile as possible) and card and they take it to a local children's hospital to help them stay strong and get well. Signing up online for our day and time was extremely simple, and they send you an email so you can fill out all your paperwork electronically. No trees harmed in the process!! Before my jump, I was really looking forward to bringing my gopro camera, but the instructor stated it was not allowed. Instead, he put my card in his gopro and filmed the entire jump for me!!!! Completely unexpected!!!! Watching the video, he go my husband and aunt on film as they jumped with their instructors as well. I've never had the actual video, but I can only imagine how incredible that one is!! I cannot recommend this place enough. Did my first skydive as a gift to myself for my 30th birthday. I decided to go all out and purchase the biggest packages... 18,000 feet and the Deluxe Pro Photo/Video. No regrets...worth every penny. Josh, my instructor, was amazing and calm. He also injected a lot of humour into the experience which was perfect for me. I was so stoked to take the leap, that it just added to the experience. Also, the fact that he has done up to 16 jumps in one day makes you feel very comfortable... The 75 seconds (or so) that I was free falling was the best experience of my life, and I am now trying to get others to come do it again with me. Now...full disclosure...something that I did not come across in aaallllllllll of my research prior to booking and jumping... 2% of jumpers will vomit (according to something I read after the fact). I was one of the "lucky" few. If you are prone to motion sickness, just ask for the bag as soon as you're settled into the parachute ride. Don't wait like I did... seriously. And if it happens, don't let it ruin your experience. I let the embarrassment get to me, and I really wish I hadn't. Everyone was super friendly about it, and tried to make sure I wasn't too worried. If you think about it, 2% is actually quite a bit, considering how many jumps they do in a day or week. Other than that... ENJOY! You won't regret it! read more

I've been skydiving.On eight other occasions, it was always fun.And exciting, when I went but I can say my job droped when I saw how this place was. Professional check in actual staff to take your information instead of a tablet. Comfortable lounge and watching areas.Get yourself excited and know what's coming next. A beautiful view and everybody packing there was nothing hidden from sight. Staff was extremely friendly nice and informative. Waiting was almost just.It's pleasurable as the experience learning and watching makes you crave to get a license. My instructor and tandem attachment was informative. Funny and did not make me feel rushed or uncomfortable at all. In fact, to complete the opposite before when they've let you steer a parachute for maybe a total of ten seconds, I felt like I control for most of the descent. Lastly, we never get to know if you're actually being taken to the altitude that you're promised or paid for but having the ability to see it right on their altimeter and know that everything you paid for is being provided is just that much better. The fact that it's family operated and they're all there working with employees who are happy to be there.Each and every day is another huge positive. This took me from every few year or a yearly events to the possibility of wanting to take it to the next level. read more

"Slide your feet beneath the plane. Tilt your head back to the left. Thrust your hips forward." WOOOOSHHH! I'm outside the plane. I AM OUTSIDE THE PLANE. A jumper with 1,261 jumps has my back. Feeling myself fall for several moments, the parachute flies up. I feel pressure on my chest. My descent slows. Nick instructs me to grap the yellow handles. I grab the taut yellow loops. "You are now controlling the parachute." I'm smile wide. I pull the right handle down. We rush right. . Relaxing a bit, we return to a vertical stance. The ground expands a leisurely rate. I feel... at home. It's a wonder humans don't have the body parts to fly. It's great up here. So, yeah. Skydive Tecumseh. I've thought about skydiving for twelve years. Now, because I clicked a couple buttons... I did it. I've done something few people will ever do. And... I can remember for the rest of my life. What's crazy, too, is... it was so secure. I went skydiving over the weekend at Tecumseh Skydiving in Michigan, and the whole experience was absolutely amazing! This was my 3rd time skydiving, but I asked my instructor, Jason, to treat me like a beginner -- and he did it perfectly. He had the right balance of keeping things fun while making sure I felt comfortable and safe. Jason was funny, quick-witted, and really helped ease my nerves with his great energy. The facility itself has such a free-spirited vibe -- people hanging out, having fun, even riding around on hoverboards. My sister, Zoe Valentine Photography (out of Hanover/Jackson, MI), came along and captured some incredible action shots, which made the day even more special. The process was smooth and quick, too. They recommend allowing 4 hours, but we checked in at noon and were already back on the road by 1:30 after our jump! Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. What an awesome experience from beginning to end! As a result of morning weather issues, we weren't sure if we would be jumping that day. But the weather cleared in the afternoon to beautiful blue skies and puffy clouds. Front counter staff were friendly and patient with all my questions. The ride up to 18,000 feet was cool, but thats when the fun really started. Wow stepping out the door and jumping ! What an awesome experience passing through the different layers/temperatures of air. All your senses on high, experiencing all these new sensations for the first time. No feelings of falling, but feeling supported by the air. The chute opens too quickly after free fall, but then another set of fun experiences as you float down. My instructor Scott was awesome, clear instructions, always checking in with me and making me feel safe. A five star, two thumbs up to both him and the videographer Sam. Both super guys. I purchased a groupon in February for this location. My friend and I finally made a date to jump and it was the most amazing experience I have ever had I am really sorry I waited so long. We were there for about four hours total. It probably would of been longer but we had the most perfect weather. I had read previous reviews and took a picnic lunch to eat before our jump. The tandem jumpers are very professional and really help you enjoy your jump to the fullest. I also HIGHLY recommend buying the video/photos. My family and friends are tired of seeing them on Facebook already. I actually jumped out of a plane and went through a cloud, once my tandem and I had cleared the cloud I went through a rainbow. It was really amazing. CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK AND DO IT AGAIN. There was slight motion sickness at the end, when you are coming in for a landing but it went away once I was on the ground. : ) read more

First time skydiving.... and lets just say with the experience I had here, it won't be the last! Colin was super knowledgeable, made the pre-jump instructions easy & extremely thorough but also made the jump process an absolute blast! Sean dove along with us for the jump for my videos & stills, he did a fantastic job! I feel like I had the best jump experience and for that reason I would absolutely recommend jumping with this company! I would give them 6 stars if possible but will have to settle on 5! Location was super easy to find using apple maps but you could easily find this place even using a paper map. The facility and jump hanger had a cool vibe but was very professional in the same sense. Not enough words in the world to describe what skydiving is like. From a guy that has been down world class rivers whitewater rafting (even almost had serious injuries or worse whitewater rafting) the highest roller-coasters in the world, to gliding in a plane with no propeller or engine: THIS WAS THE MOST EXHILARATING, HEART WRENCHING, ADRENALINE PUMPING, INTENSE, WORTH EVERY PENNY OF IT THING I HAVE EVER DONE. A big Shout out to Collin. I am petrified of heights and that is why I did this. Another thing off my bucket list. But Collin was absolutely perfect. My experience at Skydive Tecumseh was absolutely amazing! It was my first time jumping and my tandem instructor Josue Baez made me feel so safe and comfortable the entire time! He has a way of being laid back yet clear with exactly what was going to happen. We did a 14,000ft jump. I highly recommend requesting Josue for your first skydiving experience! I also received the most incredible pictures and videos from Giulianno Scotti who took action photos & videos of me living my best life! He captured my excitement & emotions during the whole experience & I am so happy that I can forever look back on my first time skydiving! He was also extremely nice and made me feel even more pumped up & excited for the whole experience from the moment I met him! I wanted something different for my 70th birthday and I've always wanted to go skydiving so I thought this is the time. Skydiving Tecumseh in Michigan turned out to be the best place for me, a newbie. I thought I'd be the only person there, but there must have been 100 to 150 people scurrying about. From newbie's like me, people getting their jumps in to get certified, and all the people that worked there. I was amazed to say the least. They all made it so simple. I was excited, but like anyone jumping for the first time nervous as hell. But everyone was up beat and tried to make us not so nervous. And it did work because I did jump. I'm sure everybody else felt the same way. They were very professional, but at the same time making a fun atmosphere. Will I go up again, you bet! Want to go with me, let's go. We had the most phenomenal team to make our first jump AMAZING! I had Scotti and my husband had Surfista. They both had the best energy, vibes, and auras and made the experience so special for us! The Skydive Tecumseh center was very accommodating to our group who was there this weekend 6/13 celebrating my 1-year milestone post Bone Marrow transplant. There were friends and people from Karmanos Cancer Institute along with the media covering the event. I can't express enough gratitude to their staff and their concern for the safety and comfort for all that attended. It turned out to be a long day due to a wind gust delay but their commitment to safety first was comforting. There was a couple of first-time jumpers that were in our group, and it made for a great experience for them. I have been to other drop zones, and I can say Skydive Tecumseh is first rate. My daughter and I went skydiving at Skydive Tecumseh last week and it was incredible. We both did tandem jumps from 14,000 feet and had the time of our lives. From check-in to landing, the staff made the whole experience exciting, safe, and unforgettable. I jumped with Dave Mathews and my daughter jumped with Josue Baez. They were fantastic!!! They were professional, fun, and made sure we were laughing and smiling the entire time, both on the ground and in the plane. Our videographers, McKenna Knipe and Matthew Harrison, were also excellent and captured every moment perfectly. There were lots of smiles all around and the energy at the drop zone was contagious. Skydive Tecumseh is first-class, and I can't recommend them enough if you're thinking about making a jump. We'll be talking about this day for a long time! read more

Skydive tecumseh was amazing. I went there as a first time skydiver and was nervous and scared but was also committed to making it happen..needless to say I did the 18000 foot jump. I was nervous until I got my instructor who's name is scotti. His personality as a whole made the experience that much smoother and more fun for me so huge shout out to scotti. He's also a veteran of skydiving of 22 years. The free fall was the best part in my opinion but the view once the parachute opens is incredible and very scenic. I recommend that anyone do it atleast once in their life. You think the cost is a questionable decision until you're falling through open skies in an experience that you may only do once. I came here because my friend really wanted to go skydiving and I decided, why not? A group of 5 of us went and we were struggling with our busy schedules to find a time that would work for us. The workers were very helpful and accommodated our busy schedules. Once we arrived they were swift in getting us ready to go and we jumped within 30 minutes. It was exciting and they were very good at getting us prepared for a safe jump. They remind you every step of the way in case you forget or have questions. It was all of our first time jumping so their help and jokes made us comfortable and confident. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! My daughter and I had talked about jumping for a few years. We finally decided we had to do it. I bought our gift certificates and gave it to her for her 20th birthday. Went to Skydive Tecumseh with a small group to do tandem skydiving. Wonderful experience, with easy online booking and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Loved that they had indoor & outdoor waiting areas, a photo op wall, jumpsuits to use if you wanted and lockers to store your personal belongings in while you jump.My instructor, Kody, was friendly & laid back. My daughter's instructor, Collin, cracked jokes the whole way up in the plane, helping to ease any tension. The freefall was amazing and after the parachute was pulled, there was utter peacefulness, as you looked down on the world. Would absolutely jump here again!! read more
