INCREDIBLE!!! This was the first jump for my mother and I and it could not have been better. We've wanted to do it for a while, and this is the best location. The team was SO friendly and fun and made the entire experience memorable. There was a group of 5 of us who went in the morning. 2 of us went up at a time, it was about a 15 minute ride up with a beautiful view of the island & ocean. The jump, free fall, and parachuting down was so fun, i felt very secure and safe. These guys have been doing it for a while so I never had any concerns. Sven, Ryan, Heather (and her dad) treated us like family and I could not have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back. THANK YOU!!! read more

Wow!! Skydiving is amazing and a must do!! The staff are friendly and close knit. They make you feel very comfortable during such a crazy event. They definitely know their stuff. Everyone I spoke too was certified and the jumpers had about 17000 jumps cumulatively. The view in the plane is breathtaking and skydiving itself is a mind blowing activity. One of the best spots I could think of to try this for the first time !! read more

There are no words. First of all, the staff is amazing! My whole family (6 of us) jumped on 8-5-16. This was my first jump. Great training and a fun atmosphere. My instructor, Pete, was amazing. Just as we were about to jump I told him I forgot what I had to do! He said "don't worry!!!" And off we went. It was the most amazing experience of my life. Pete made me feel relaxed and took an amazing video of me. The landing was smooth and the view was terrific. I wanted to jump again! Just remember to breathe and take it all in! read more

What an amazing experience! It was my first time skydiving and it didn't disappoint. You pull into the parking lot adjacent to the airfield and then walk to the small garage-like structure where the business is located. You sign in, fill out forms (basically saying you won't sue if you die), watch a safety video, and then wait your turn to go up in a plane. All of the staff was very friendly and seemed incredibly experienced. You go through some brief instructions and are then suited up. There are two instructors who are each assigned a jumper. Once it's your turn, they lead you to the plane and off you go. The plane is very small and by the time you get to 10,000 feet you are definitely ready to jump out. The views during the plane ride are spectacular. Once you jump you get about 30 seconds of free-fall and then a few minutes to glide once the parachute is open. I don't think there's a more beautiful place to jump than over the Outer Banks. I can't wait to do it again, and I've been craving that free-fall feeling ever since I left. I'll definitely be back to do it again someday. read more

This was my first jump and I went with Sven on the early bird jump @ 6:30am. I was attached to him tandem for his 9,700th jump, so I felt quite confident that he knew what was up. It was absolutely surreal, dropping from 9,000ft towards the earth at 120mph! The view is indescribable and paired with the experience of jumping out of a plane it will be a morning I won't soon (or ever) forget! I am most definitely going back again not just to jump but to support an awesome business with great employees. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and they were the ones that made my first skydiving experience an amazing one. 6/5 stars for me! read more

My boyfriend and I did our first tandem skydive just last week. It was such an amazing experience and rush! Right from the beginning the staff was great during the "on the ground" instructions. They made sure that they were thorough with explaining how everything would unfold and answering all questions. The staff there all had great personalities and you could tell they really enjoy their job! On the way up in the airplane you get an amazing and relaxing tour of the Outer Banks. (The first jumper definitely has the best view on the way up.) As we were flying the staff pointed out landmarks. When it came time to jump everything went great. Right before we opened the door our instructors went over everything again. Once that door opened it was just a straight adrenaline rush! The jump down was awesome being able to see everything around and you are even allowed to control the parachute after it deploys. All in all this was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend going to Skydive OBX! It's the best thing around!!! read more

Absolutely amazing experience!! The entire staff is super professional and very friendly! I jumped with Pete who was super funny and so great and my bf jumped with Sven who he loved as well!! Both you guys ROCK!!! Went for my birthday with my boyfriend and his mom ( which was a surprise for me ) actually cried when they first told me we were going and almost backed out. SO glad I didn't because that view was amazing the staff was WONDERFUL and we will definitely be returning!!! read more
