I went with my friend for his first skydive. Skydive North Florida is an excellent company with great people. We showed up at 1000, and we were greeted right away. We watched an instructional video and received a small class. We went up in the plane and completed the jump by 1130. I highly recommend any first-time jumpers come here. read more

I jumped for my first time today, on my 30th birthday! We had three jumpers, my husband and I along with my mother's boyfriend. My husband and I went first. Very professional and very thorough with instructions. Martin and Pat were so fun and made the experience that much better! This literally is one of the best experiences of my life! Everyone must Sky Dive once in their life!! Highly recommend Skydive North Florida!! We will be back!!! read more

"Hello. The bathrooms are right around the corner." A strange first comment from the owner, but the crew up at SNF knows exactly what people are looking for, and it shows from that first interaction and carries on through the whole experience. From listening to my concerns about how we were tethered, to positioning me in the plane where it would be the best fit with my desire to jump, and just kinda making a very intense experience just kinda flow. It's worth the trip, these are good people running an amazingly fun and professional experience. read more

Such a great place to go Skydiving! Went here for my first jump ever. I jumped with Pat and he was awesome! He was very clear with his instructions and made the jumping process easy. The pilot, Kelso, safely flew us to the proper jumping altitude and opened the door when we were in a clear spot to jump. I just relaxed and before I knew it I was in the sky. My favorite part was after we pulled the parachute; I got to take in the incredible view! The operation is located on a private farm and the two owners clearly care about what they do. Jim and Melanie have many years of experience in skydiving and flying planes and you can tell they take great pride in providing a safe and fun experience. Definitely will be back for another jump! read more

we had 3 jumpers, 2 of us have previously jumped at another location. this was by far a much more enjoyable experience! the family owned business owners were sweet and definitely wanted to make sure we had a good time. this experience was much more fun due to the instructors making sure we all felt comfortable, were aware of what to do, we didn't feel rushed and they let us steer the parachute around for a little and so much more! Not to mention the property and view was just as amazing! I would definitely love to come back next time we're in Florida! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Melanie N.

Melanie Nipper became a pilot in 1986, was an instrument flight instructor, crop duster, and flew cargo before flying for Gene Paul Thacker at Raeford Parachute Center where she met Jim. Melanie got in the Army as a Warrant officer in 1993 and flew Blackhawks and King Airs. Four combat tours, active duty for 12 years and was in the National Guard and still serves in the Reserves with 22 years of service flying Blackhawks. Currently flies a Kingair overseas as a contractor.

How far you can go, it wasn't clear but we didn't go too far so it was OK. Second, taking the boat out of "parking" is not easy. After watching us struggling with it, the staff member there helped us out by jumping on board and pulling out. He then told us to call him when we got back so we wouldn't have to park. We did and he hopped on the boat, docked it for us. That's the only gripe. Other than that a great experience.
