I wasn't sure if I should get my stroller out or not, but to be honest it's not really a large space, so I'm glad I didn't end up taking the stroller in. The lady at the front desk was helpful and we scanned out virtual ti key for entry. They have some real animal lovers working and I love that they employ some younger persons who obviously love animals. There was a really pretty multicolored little bird in the front and a hand washing station. I saw a hedgehog, rats, ferrets and fish/frogs at the front. We went past the gate into the same room and there was a pig, two goats, an alpaca, two baby lambs, and a small type of horse. The alpaca and horse were tethered, but the others were free to roam within the room and there were some toys around. The gates (within the same room) have 3 other separated sections, there was a reptile section with turtles, a lizard, I can't remember exactly, but probably a snake. The next section had bunnies, small bunnies and full sized bunnies of a few different breeds, they were very soft, but a little difficult to try to pick up as most of them were hiding under their cages. And the last section had some baby ducks or goslings I couldn't tell, as well as some empty bird cages. It depends on who you go with. I kept trying to pet the baby lambs because I had drove 45 minutes to get there haha. From what I understand, they also have like a traveling petting zoo and you can hire them for parties/events. All in all, the animals seem well taken care of even though there isn't a ton of space. Now that I've been once, I don't think I need to go again, but it could be a fun activity for a local to try.

The chairs and sofas aren't the most comfortable but it'll do for a few hours. It's quite noisy inside, but the air conditioning felt amazing! One thing I noticed is that the staff are busy talking and not paying attention to the kids climbing and I green my daughter had to wait to get their attention when she wanted to be untethered. No- The price is around $16 to $18/person for a one-time visit and you get to stay for 90 minutes. However, you can upgrade to a 1-month pass for a few dollars more (making it $19 to $21) allowing you to stay all day and come back as many times as you want (there are two different passes allowing usage Monday through Thursday and then any day of the week and those are different prices). So it feels silly to not buy the month pass, but if you're not sure if you'll like it or you're only going to be there that day then it feels like a rip-off. Additionally, my kids started to get bored after about three times of attending. We were not attending for about 6 months and they started asking about returning. I don't know if this is a sustainable activity for more than a month. If you only want to do it for one month you need to make sure to cancel your membership timely. They do require you to use THEIR socks so you do need to buy them the first time you go. But then if you need replacements I THINK that there is a discount. Another con is they don't allow outside food (although I saw plenty of people eating right on the AstroTurf anyway- it was hard for my rule abiding self to see). They do have food available to purchase but I can't speak to the value for the money. They also have a birthday party packages but I can't speak to the value for the money. I did look into it when I first went to the Big Green and I felt like it wasn't worth it for me. But it is an option if you're looking for something. But the time available to stay is only 90 minutes (of course confirm with the place yourself if you want to take advantage of this) I feel this is a really good option for the winter except that I don't want to leave the house in the winter . But when we do go we try to stay for as long as we can so we bring a lunch and that can be extra hard to have to go out to our car to eat the lunch as no outside food is allowed inside. Overall I like the place because it allows my kids to get really worn out, but I wish I lived closer to it!

The 3 and under section was more than appropriate for me little guy though, so I put him in there. There large playground is awesome. This was the first time I let me two year old truly go and adventure on his own. I was a little nervous and kept checking up on him, but don't think he has ever had so much fun in his whole life. What was really nice is that much of the playground is built in such a way that as an adult, I didn't have much trouble navigating it when going up myself. Aside from the crawling baby section though, the other reason I only give 4 stars is that I wish there were only exits from the playground on the same side. You can actually get up to it from all directions and there are two exit doors towards the back of the playground. They appear to be alarmed, but honestly, there really isn't anything stopping someone from standing in the back, waiting for a kid, and running. I know this is a worst case scenario and likely never happened, but the possibility did make me a little uncomfortable. That said, I highly recommend taking your kids here.
