    Open Lab

Little Beakers is so fun (and educational at the same time!) We purchased a membership when they opened, and have used it several times. My girls love open lab time, and on our last visit we brought friends with us. They also had a blast, and have asked to go back. With the amount of experiments to choose from the kids can try something new each visit, so no chance of getting bored anytime soon. And the best part for me - no clean up! They do it all. The lab is super clean! They are following Covid procedures (masks, social distancing and hand washing.) A huge shout out to their amazing staff, they are helpful, friendly and are great with the kids. We will be back!

Wasatch kids camp has truly been the best summer camp for my son. We tried a few Rec centers, and…read moreother camps prior to finding WKC but none of them were as great with my son. My son has ADHD and needed camp counselors that understood his needs, had patience and understood him. WKC provided all that and more. Previous camps told me they wouldn't be able to keep him in camp due to his needs. We have been going to WKC for 3 years and my son can't wait for summer! A few things outside of what I already mentioned that we love WKC for is the constant adventure, new experiences and always active days. My son comes home tired, happy and with stories of something new he did. We are so thankful for the memories we get to make each and every summer!

And they just seemed like they were fed up with everyone and everything I got to care and wasn't even graded with a lock. I was just greeted with a get in line and they searched through my backpack first but yes I get it but still invasion of privacy and if you didn't have any like one thing they were charging your account for it they were charging five dollars for a bottle of water. It's insane not to mention the counselors were threatening, and I was told many many many times that if you guys don't behave, this will not be a good summer and we will make sure of it and also me and my friend made a mistake and we were yelled at and screamed at and it just made our entire day bad and we started crying. It sucked. I've seen other reviews about it and also the bus driver was also not very good and I feel like he wasn't following many traffic rules and they seemed fed up if one of us got injured and that's just what kids do. They were just mean and we were screamed at often and I really didn't like it. I was in the Explorers group 11 to 13.

I am so happy to see that Kidzart is offering Pallet Up summer classes at their studio in Murray!…read moreI discovered these adult art classes when I began taking Art Innovators classes through community ed at the Canyons School District. Their curriculum never repeats so all of the projects are different and they use a wide range of mediums so you get to try new and different ones at every class and they provide all the supplies so all you bring to class is you. Just this past year I have used charcoal, chalk pastels, watercolor, Prismacolor markers and acrylic to name a few. The teachers are friendly and knowledgeable. The classes are structured so that at the end of each one you have created a finished work of art ready to frame. Best of all, they welcome all skill levels so you never feel intimidated even if you are a beginner like me. If you are looking for art classes that are in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price I highly recommend Pallet Up!

Both my son and myself attend classes twice a week and it's something we look forward to all the time. Why is Denda superior? First of all, it's not a chain or a corporation, but a family-owned business. And as such, they also give back to their community, whether through anti-bullying presentations at local schools, self-defense lessons for at-risk youth or mutual support of small businesses in the area. Their commitment to better the community is truly admirable. Denda also has an after-school program that includes transportation, as well as a summer camp and a day camp when most schools are out. As a working parent, it's something invaluable, especially since their camps and martial arts lessons are affordable, compared to some other schools. Denda's primary focus is taekwondo, but the instructions incorporate elements of other martial arts such as kickboxing or Muay Thai. They teach traditional forms, sparring, self-defense, grappling, weapons (bo staff, nunchucks, sword, eskrima) and the philosophical component of the arts. If you ever thought of exploring martial arts, Master Dutson and Mrs Dutson will ensure you'll have a great experience regardless of your age, fitness level and skill. We love Denda.
