Great facility with lots and lots of fitness options. Cardio machines (treadmills, bikes, rowing…read moremachines, ellipticals, etc.) and a walking/running track make up the upstairs part of the building--this is a great place for parents to watch their kids play basketball while they get in some exercise. On the lower level, there is a lap pool and a kids pool (complete with water slides and a lazy river), a weight room, basketball courts, and a high-fitness area (with TRX, punching bags, battle ropes, and the like). The basketball courts are fantastic and have a lot of hoops to practice on. While the weight room doesn't have as many machines as the cardio area upstairs, there are a decent amount of free weights and I rarely see machines broken; I've never seen a machine out of order for more than 24 hours, so the maintenance staff is really on top of things. In addition to these open areas, which are all included with paid admission (daily costs are $3 for children under 12 and $5 for adults), the Park Center offers a variety of fitness classes, including Zumba, water aerobics, spinning, HIIT, and more. I love this gym because of the assortment of activities, the friendly staff, the non-crowded atmosphere, and because you can purchase monthly memberships without worrying about contracts and fees like other gyms.

Kids are given a lab coat, goggles and a book of experiments to do on their own. The employees clean up and the kids have free reign. It's every budding scientist's dream! Secondly, the employees are SO great with kids. They patiently explain the science behind things, are happy to help you figure out the microscopes and other things. I learned a lot just by being there with my daughter. We've also done the dissection which was very detailed and well guided. We're looking forward to doing a parent's night out and summer camps. My daughter begs to come here daily, which is why we got a membership - open lab is free every day!

Utah for…read moreskiing, on our break days I took my kids - 7 yr old and 9 yr old to various attractions in Salt Lake City. My kids enjoyed almost all of them - but little beakers by far was their most favorite!! We went for open lab and I must say that they have set it up so well. It is cool, while it is educational. The kids went crazy doing the science experiment and I didn't have to deal with procuring materials or cleaning the mess afterwards!! They felt like real scientists. All the materials were provided, marked nicely, and the instructions very straightforward. The kids were mostly able to do it all independently (with my supervision). After the experiment, in simple and precise words. I wish we had known about this place earlier, I would have brought my kids 2-3 times in our trip. But definitely visiting them multiple times in the future during every trip to Utah for skiing. If little beakers sees this review - thankyou for the best hour of our entire 2 weeks stay!!

The idea using the black belt to show your kid's progress is super smart and very well thought. We came here for a tour and the place is very organized, basic (in - very good way) and clean. It's really a place catered for kids that think outside the box, from the decor to the paintings and quotes from Einstein. We worked with Emily Clark, very nice and educated lady. Her staff/teachers/mentors are mostly college students. My son loves this place. Period. It's something that he looks forward to. They have a full program and summer camp. I def recommend this even if your kids are not into gaming it is a good start to introduce them to using a pc or learning basic skills. They require kids to be at least 7 years old mainly because they need to be able to read instructions.

Store manager Jett is very aggressive to get you to sign up--many calls and texts. Once signed, he is very stingy on the time. Did you take 10 minutes extra to pick up your kid? Going to have to charge you an extra hour for that. His dad Rick who manages another location is not much better. Try the Draper Code Ninja instead, it's under a different franchisee.

Both my son and myself attend classes twice a week and it's something we look forward to all the time. Why is Denda superior? First of all, it's not a chain or a corporation, but a family-owned business. And as such, they also give back to their community, whether through anti-bullying presentations at local schools, self-defense lessons for at-risk youth or mutual support of small businesses in the area. Their commitment to better the community is truly admirable. Denda also has an after-school program that includes transportation, as well as a summer camp and a day camp when most schools are out. As a working parent, it's something invaluable, especially since their camps and martial arts lessons are affordable, compared to some other schools. Denda's primary focus is taekwondo, but the instructions incorporate elements of other martial arts such as kickboxing or Muay Thai. They teach traditional forms, sparring, self-defense, grappling, weapons (bo staff, nunchucks, sword, eskrima) and the philosophical component of the arts. If you ever thought of exploring martial arts, Master Dutson and Mrs Dutson will ensure you'll have a great experience regardless of your age, fitness level and skill. We love Denda.
