What a cute little farm!!!…read more My husband and I wanted to take our 1 year old son to see some farm animals up close since we were in the area last Friday. We didn't have a lot of expectations given the reviews on here but we figured we check it out for our son. We were pleasantly surprised how much fun we had! When we walked in, we were greeted by the nice staff and volunteers who told us the $4 entrance fee goes towards donations to help feed, house, and care for all the animals. We also learned that they're rescue animals. They have a variety of farm animals to feed and pet including a donkey, ponies, sheep, goats, cows, and chickens. They offer a punch card when you purchase grains to feed the animals too. Our son had so much fun with the animals. He smiled and laughed in excitement which put a huge smile on our face. Keep in mind that the farm is small but they are working hard to expand for everyone of all ages. There's a cute little rollercoaster and pony carousel. They even have a small Wild West theme town for the kids to play on. We had a great time on the farm. Definitely recommend checking this place out. We will be sure to come back again.

We came for a visit and got to let baby cows, rabbits, and check out the alpacas and pigs. We also let the kids go for pony rides around Gardner village. We had a great time and will be back. I just really wish the staff wore masks. Nobody but us was masked, even the handlers taking the kids on the horses.

The employee inside was super nice and let me know that when I'm ready to come with my family that we should get tickets online because they are a few dollars cheaper. The following weekend I brought my 2 year and 1 year old boys. As far as animals go, as the name suggests they have a wide variety of lizards, turtles, snakes, spiders, and more. When you enter, you're assigned a "guide" that walks you through and talks about pretty much any animal you want them to. At certain points, they selects animals to pull out of their cages and you're given the opportunity to touch or hold them. The inside of the building is kinda cramped and not really set up to be a guided zoo experience and there are so many cages that it would take a week to be able to see them all. I have it understood that scales and tails puts on traveling shows for birthdays and such and my guess would be that this is its primary form of business nd the tours given at the facility are really just chances to donate to help them keep things running. I don't say any of this as a bad thing though. I'm certain that the experience you have is highly tailored to your desire to learn about more animals and you can probably ask to hold a lot more than we did. Once the tour is completed you are able to just hang out and keep checking out the animals for what seems to be however long you want. Two of the highlights for us were the large alligator "darthgator" and the opportunity for our whole family to hold a 10ft python. I highly recommend to anyone with or without kids to come check it out at least once. It's a cool experience that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else.

Kids are given a lab coat, goggles and a book of experiments to do on their own. The employees clean up and the kids have free reign. It's every budding scientist's dream! Secondly, the employees are SO great with kids. They patiently explain the science behind things, are happy to help you figure out the microscopes and other things. I learned a lot just by being there with my daughter. We've also done the dissection which was very detailed and well guided. We're looking forward to doing a parent's night out and summer camps. My kids enjoyed almost all of them - but little beakers by far was their most favorite!! We went for open lab and I must say that they have set it up so well. It is cool, while it is educational. The kids went crazy doing the science experiment and I didn't have to deal with procuring materials or cleaning the mess afterwards!! They felt like real scientists. All the materials were provided, marked nicely, and the instructions very straightforward. The kids were mostly able to do it all independently (with my supervision). After the experiment, in simple and precise words. I wish we had known about this place earlier, I would have brought my kids 2-3 times in our trip. But definitely visiting them multiple times in the future during every trip to Utah for skiing. If little beakers sees this review - thankyou for the best hour of our entire 2 weeks stay!!
