This is the Nazi Germany of Drive ins. Carried in Food/Drink are the persecuted.
$9 for an Adult is on par with what I would expect to spend for a film, and at least it is a double feature for that price. Concessions are moderately priced, but the line was constantly wrapped around the building. Perhaps they would be able to have this line move a bit faster if one of their staff wasn't tasked with constantly peeking into cars looking for whatever contraband you may be carrying. Even if that drink you hold is non-alcoholic, if it was not bought on the property, The Gestapo will force you to pour it out. We had at least one car leave before the movie started due to this. Their pre-movie roll recommended to hand over any carried food or drink to be donated to the food pantry. If you are caught with carried in food or drink you will be asked to leave with no refund. It's their policy to be assholes.
Quote my girlfriend- "I'm thirsty, but if I get a drink out of the cooler I'll be killed"
Water fountain is purposely disabled, via duct tape.
Speaking of the movie, they do have the sound broadcasted via radio, but no per-car window speakers. Only loudspeakers from the concession building. If you hate country music, well 1- you are deep in the heart of Hicksville, and 2- the muffled loudspeaker will still be heard in your car.
Movie audio will be constantly interrupted by concessions announcing people's pizzas are ready.
Restrooms are comparable to a truckstop, even with a sign threatening you, assuming you have already graffiti-ed the stalls. Toilets overflowed during our stay. (With wet floor sign, so they knew the problem existed. ) Although the entire place smells like they are grilling manure.
Contraband consumed- Twizzlers, Reese's, 2 Cans Of Coca-Cola.
You clearly are getting enough money from concessions, and feel free to encourage people to buy drinks on the property, but calm the fuck down about carry-ins. Never returning, enjoy the review. read more
