    Fry bread taco
    Nancy S.

We were running late and were the last group to be seated for the day - we didn't have time for lunch so we were very hungry. Most of us got the fry bread taco - you have choice of beef or chicken. It was a very good size. Service was very good - and they surprised us with a slice of birthday cake for my nephew! A delightful experience.

Haven't eaten just the menu. Not much of a selection but you are really paying for the view. There's a line that goes fairly fast.

Traditional fry bread and topped with taco mix. Very yummy

We did the paid all inclusive ticket from online and drive ourselves to the west rim for the views. With our ticket we got 10 off each meal and 10 off in the shop per person. The hostess didn't say two words to us and never even smiled showed us to our seat and walked away. Not very welcoming. The server came over right away and took our drink and food order. She was friendly and knew her stuff. I ordered a traditional fry bread with taco toppings. So freaking good! My husband order the chicken strips. He said they were huge but kinda dried out. But still eatable. You couldn't beat the view while eating

Alex refused to give the table that had a view due to a power trip. She felt so good saying we couldn't sit at at an available table with a view then smirked as she sat another party at that table instead right after us. The food is gross too

Great place for the middle of no where. Food was decent tasting. Service was quick and good

I would recommend bringing your own food if possible. While the high prices are somewhat expected for a tourist location, the food itself isn't very good. The wait was also really long, and I would have much rather spent that time exploring. The best part of the experience was the view. You can try for a window seat, but getting one seems to come down to luck.

You're basically in the middle of nowhere. Don't expect a grand culinary experience. I noticed some pretty sad looking freezer to fryer dishes at other tables. We split a Hualapai taco (beef), which is actually plenty for 2 people. It's huge, the size of a dinner plate. Without us asking, the waiter brought us 2 plates which was nice. It's pretty much the same thing as a Navajo taco. I must say, I've had my fair share of such tacos and this was the best one I've ever had. The frybread had a light fluffy interior and delicately crunchy exterior. The salsa usually provided with such tacos is usually way too mild for me. Here, the salsa was still pretty mild, but it did have a little more of a welcomed kick to it. The staff ranged from polite to very friendly. Service was attentive. Views from all tables are great, even if you don't get a window table. The room is nicely done, clean, inviting, and comfortable. We had the $10 off coupon thing, so two of us dined for under $20. We tipped the waiter $10. Even if most of the food isn't the greatest and with somewhat "gotcha pricing", the ambiance of the room, staff, and views makes it worth a visit. I would not 4 star such a restaurant in a large city, for for here in the middle of the desert, yeah, 4 stars and based solely on the taco.

It was the only place available for food during our tour. Everything else was closed. The line to order gets long. Only to be received by a rude annoyed girl that clearly wants to do anything else but take your order. The food comes in large portions enough to share. Not that you'll want to because everything is bland. It's food in the middle of the desert. Try to make the best of it.

Came here for two days to get the whole experience. Skywalk bridge was great. They have a full restaurant indoors or you can get food from their diner downstairs and enjoy at the picnic tables that they have close by.

This waitress rolled her eyes when we called her to get our order

Wow don't even know how to start this review, this is the WORST restaurant I've ever been to. Service is terrible, food is dry, servers are impolite. Not only did they get my order wrong, when we asked if we can change our seats, the employees just stood there and looked at us as if they didn't hear us and didn't even care to respond. And one of the waitresses even rolled her eyes when we asked her to get our order. And by the way, I ordered shrimp burger and she ended up giving me a steak burger instead. Incredibly terrible experience.

Recommend! Because this is the ONLY place to eat So eat here, pay the $21, so you don't starve Burger was cooked; very cooked, no way any living organism such as E. coli could have survived the chef The chicken tenders are actually decent Served with curly fries The view is great if you are lucky enough to get seated by the window Once seated, the food comes out quick, but our server forgot to come back out to check on us for the check

I mean, you kind of have to know what you're possibly getting into when choosing to eat at this place. My family and I did not come as part of a tour, so we did not have a meal built into our visit. We made a day trip from Las Vegas to visit the Grand Canyon and took the 1.5 - 2 hour drive to Arizona. After much exploring and a semi-lengthy trip ahead of us to get back to Vegas, we made the plunge to get a bite to eat to tie us over. Again, you can't have very high expectations in terms of offerings, price, or taste since you're basically in a tourist trap, but our meal left much to be desired! The Sky View Restaurant is a dining option at Eagles Point at the Grand Canyon West location. It overlooks the Skywalk and has a beautiful view (one of the more redeeming factors of the place). The staff were friendly and the hostess was accommodating to allow us to wait for a seat with a view when we asked her. This was important to us since my mom has a fear of heights and wasn't going to be able to walk the Skywalk. She still got a great view from the restaurant. Our server, once seated, was friendly and efficient. We received our food in a reasonable amount of time (there aren't many options to choose from, so I'm sure that also helps to ensure food comes out quickly). We also did not feel rushed to hurry and eat our food by the staff even though we were seated in a prime seat of the restaurant. This was the plus of our meal. As mentioned, the menu doesn't offer much: cheeseburger, grilled chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and a vegetarian Beyond burger. All selections comes with fries and a drink. The price tag for all of the items is HIGH and the quality and taste is nothing more than what you would find at an amusement park or sporting event. Actually, I think I've had better quality food at amusement parks and sporting events. We ordered three chicken tender meals to share and it was seriously the most expensive chicken tender meal I've had in my life. With tax and tip, it came out to almost a $70 meal for chicken tenders and fries! The definition of a tourist trap! I wouldn't mind the price if the food justified it...even just a little bit. Avoid if you're not on the meal plan! No one was technically monitoring the space, so if you just wanted a quick peek or photo, I'm sure you can just go into the restaurant, do what you need to do, and leave as long as you're not lingering around or becoming a disturbance to the paying customers. Highly do NOT recommend.

Thankfully my family and I went at a time when it was not so busy because we were seated by the window in only a couple minutes. Let me start off and say that the service was incredible. I sadly forgot the name of our waiter, but he was so nice and I don't think my experience would have been half as good if we didn't have such a nice waiter. My family shared a plate of nachos and two burgers, and we were surprisingly full. The portion definitely did not match the expensive price of the dishes, but it wasn't bad at all. The burgers were mediocre, as in they tasted just like any other burger, but their nachos were amazing. I'm a huge fan of nachos and will always get a place of them no matter which restaurant I am at. I still don't know what, but something about their nachos made it taste so good; they definitely are on my list of top 5. I think the price of the food was more geared towards the fact that we got to sit at the window and see the beautiful view of the Grand Canyon, rather than it representing the quality of the food in general. So if you were to visit the South rim but do not wish to spend your money on the skywalk, I would recommend eating at this restaurant instead. But if you're wanting to eat here for the food, I recommend waiting until you get back in town, or eat before getting to the south rim because it's sort of a waste of money.

Located in the historic town of Chloride AZ we walked inside a building that took us back in time, an authentic 1860's era Old West structure with a full bar onsite. Originally it used to be a stagecoach repair shop where stagecoaches can stop by for a quick repair but it has been renovated since while keeping the old charm and character. Loved the historic atmosphere. There were a few items we wanted to try but ended up ordering Fish & Chips and Grilled Cheese. The homemade fries tasted nice and crunchy.
