They jumped on the phone and made arrangements for me with a place they were pretty sure could help me. I drove up there the same day and had all my issues sorted. My point is this: Wouldn't it be great if every business's first goal was a happy customer? My situation was VERY tricky and not-at-all common. I'm sure they can help you with everything you need, but knowing that they'll do what they can, even when they're not going to make a dime doing it??? This is what customer service looks like. Took my van in for new tires at the 16 and van dyke location on June 19th and they call me back…read moresaying there was issues with my van. They tell me that one of the stems on the rotor was broken and asked me who serviced my van? I told them not once has it been serviced by anyone other then oil changes and fixing trivial thing like blinkers. They then said it would have to be done submitting a claim. So I waited for just under a week for them to get back with me. And discount tire said they called you on a different number. I asked them when they called me to tell me they had issues with my van, they had no problem contacting me. They are nothing but liars. For a 240.00 fix they choose to lose a customer of about 30 years. Good riddance. Belle tire, Walmart or even a used tire shop in Detroit would be better then discount tire. This site won't allow me to post a review without giving at least one star. They are worse than one star!

Quick Repair & Great Service Well my summer low profile…read moretires and wheels lasted 4 days before a problem with a gaping crater of a Michigan pothole! The result was a flat tire and a bent rim. These guys sorted out my rim within 2 hours and managed a lot of phone time dealing with my wheel & tire insurance (not really their job!). They also refinish wheels and take out curb scrapes. Extremely disappointed with this place and would NOT recommend them to anyone…read more My boyfriend purchased new rims and tires here, and somehow they managed to damage his rims and tires multiple times. The first time, they scratched his rim during the installation. What made it even worse was that they tried to blame the damage on him, despite the fact that we literally watched it happen. Rather than taking responsibility, they were immediately defensive. We brought the vehicle back to have the damage addressed, and the staff was incredibly rude and dismissive. They acted like we were inconveniencing them and seemed more interested in getting us out the door than actually fixing the problem they caused. Then, on our most recent visit, they finally repaired the damaged rim -- only to cause ANOTHER issue in the process by putting a significant gouge in the sidewall of his tire. At this point, this is beyond an honest mistake. Three separate instances of damage to brand-new rims/tires is completely unacceptable. We trusted this business with an expensive purchase and instead had to repeatedly come back to deal with damage that should never have happened in the first place. If you care about your wheels and tires, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
