Officially worse than any other cable provider I have ever dealt with. They do not answer their phone, seems to be one person working there ever.. I'll get on the line and it will say "you are first in line!" and ill proceed to hold for anywhere from 30-75 minutes only to be hung up on. IF you do get someone on the line, be prepared for some of the rudest "customer service" youve ever had. This place is bundled into my Townhouse's "Media Package" which is grossly overpriced and doesnt allow for ANY option to shop outside of it. TLDR; Ive been paying sky for months and still have no working cable box in my house, I've been hung up on no less than 5 times both by humans and their phone system and short of offering me the rest of my service on my lease free of charge, I can see no way they'd ever retain me as a customer. **UPDATE: I still hold the some opinions of the company overall, but I'm adding a star because I finally got ahold of a customer service rep that cared, went above and beyond to give me ways to contact them around the hold-line because they understood how frustrated I was, they figured out the equipment I had was faulty, they had a new unit at my door the very next day and still helped me through setup. This persons name is Lanna and this person is far and away the only good thing about getting roped into this service. We just moved into a complex that can only get DirecTV through this company. We have tried several times to call and get service and no one from Sky Satellite has returned our calls. This is awful customer service. They obviously don't care about setting up service like they claim. I've called DirecTV directly and they couldn't assist me because of the restriction this stupid company has put in place. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Great experience from the installation of the system to the receivers being plug and play in the units. From an ownership perspective the central system eliminates the dish on balcony and keeps the property clean with no messy installs. Everything is set up in advance in a way where it is super easy for residents to set up service and customize upon request. I love how the package had multiple streaming services included HBO Max, Cinemax and Showtime included in the media package. Had a couple of calls to walk through downloading the DIRECTV app so I can use while away. The call center has been great for any one offs. read more

The absolute worse. I am forced to use them as I live in a condo building and the satellite dish is on the roof for all to use. Be prepared to be on hold for at least 1 hour. In addition, I pay $8.99 per month on my ATT bill in the event I need service. However, ATT techs are not allowed to help me as I must use this terrible outfit. Sky satellite always charges for a service call even though the issue is their outdated equipment. STAY AWAY!! read more

Be careful with them. They make awesome customers for residential but if you are in one of their controlled places (apartments, etc) then they will manipulate you thinking that your residential can easily convert to their "bulk" rate. This is not the case. I would not trust them on that. read more

Want to argue with someone who will not listen, call these guys. I appreciate their inability to listen, provide exactly what I asked for and for their need to charge for hardware so we don't overload their system. After everything is done, make sure you review what they gave you as you will not get what you request. Unplug and do business with someone else. read more

Get your running shoes on because Sky Satellite will give you the run-around. I was patient in waiting for a contracted DVR (2 months), then I started asking questions. We are approaching month 4 and we still have no DVR, no answers, no timeline, no returned phone calls, no refunds, no emails, no letters. We do however get 3 free movies (msrp $4.50 at Redbox), updates from friends on the shows we love, lots of news radio and a deep disdain for 3rd party Direct TV providers. Thanks for the run around Sky. My $4.50 gift to you is this: 1 in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. Put simply, spend less on sales and spend more on retaining the customers you've conned, ahem, acquired. Extremely poor service. Here it is July 1st. Our swim box isn't connecting to our receiver (mind you it's locked in a box out side, only access is through skysat) and I'm told we are booked all tomorrow, and are closed the 3rd, 4th and 5th. So unfortunately there is nothing we can do until Monday... Really this is a professional business with hundreds of customers but yet instead of taking care of the folks that keep them in business , they take 3 days off for the holiday. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice, however I am still shocked we can't get our tv back till Monday. Should I go cut the lockbox so I can fix my satellite on my own?? So frustrated!!!!! Friday the 3rd? ReAlly?? Friday isn't a holiday and when you have customers to take care of, do so with hesitation, for crying out loud, YOUR A BUSINESS who should take pride in your name! R I really hope to never have to be forced to use your service again, in fact I hope everyone reads this post and complains enough that your "professional business " shuts down! I couldn't find a way to give them zero stars or I would have. In my opinion and experience, Sky Satellite is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Worse than dealing with any government agency or bureaucracy. Bad attitude and worse service. If you have any problems then don't bother calling these guys. They did not lift a finger to go out of their way to solve my problems...even though they installed my entire system a few years earlier. And the management is even worse. I told them in advance what problems they might encounter, and they were still totally unprepared when they arrived... so they left. They didn't even bother to tell me that they left. They just showed up, realized they were not prepared to solve any problems, and they left. I'm going to go back to cable TV rather than deal with these guys again. I've been with DirecTV for six years, but my experience with Sky Satellite was so bad, that I give up on DirecTV. read more
