I admit I'm surprised I'm giving Brampton Transit 4 stars, but the folks over in Brampton (The…read moreFlower City as it calls itself) seems like they know what they are doing. A lot of people commute using Brampton Transit and GO and while I've never tried this (since I live so close to a GO station) I've seen people use their GO tickets to get a free ride on the bus (now bet you GO commuters would LOVE for that to be implemented at the TTC too eh?!). That's a pretty sweet deal if you ask me. While the bus fleet is not as large as the TTC's they do a good job every time I've used it to stick to the schedules listed on the stops and the drivers, at least the few I've had to interact with in terms of asking questions are very friendly. Many a time do I see a bus have to hold off on a station because they are ahead of schedule! The individual ticket cost is roughly the same as the TTC but get this, you pay once and you get a transfer which enables you for unlimited travel in a 2 hour period! That's just amazing if you just want to take the bus to go buy groceries or something like that. In terms of comfort level it's the same type of buses as the TTC buses that have the 2 steps right after the exit door? Nothing super comfortable but it does it's job. They also have implemented a new bus system called "Züm" which I've never used, but the buses look hella cool and they advertise real time scheduling updates at stops as well the magical power to influence traffic lights to keep them running on schedule! Add all this to a pretty decent coverage area and you got yourself a pretty reliable, convenient and happy transit system!

The driver was rude / unprofessional / impatient - choose based on your experience, and it made the ride uncomfortable. Public transit is supposed to be a safe and respectful space for everyone, and this kind of attitude really discourages passengers.i dont why you hired this suck a street guy for your job he even dosent no how to speak in english .. the driver is of 8:30 am 15A zum buss 28 july 2025 such a F**ng guy disgusting I hope Brampton Transit looks into this and ensures better training or supervision for their drivers. We deserve respectful and courteous service, especially when relying on public transportation.

Located right in downtown Brampton, and it's great that they still have three fairly large (free)…read moreparking lots. The station helps add to the character of the immediate surrounding area of heritage of the unique (albeit small) city centre. It has GO train service, and recently they've added all-day, 2-way service on weekdays during business hours which is great. The GO bus terminal is right beside with several routes offered. The train station serves as a VIA rail station and you can get to places like Montreal from this station. Tip: Closer to the bus station is The Village Bake Shop, which is a great place to get coffee, baked goods and such. You'd need to set aside a few extra minutes to go on a run there if you were getting on the train however. One frustrating thing, and for all GO stations for that matter, are the ridiculously slow ticket machines. There's a stress that cannot be compared to anything else when you hear the train rolling in and the machine takes half a minute just to bring up 'Union' station on the search. Practically a couple minutes just to get your ticket.

I use this station fairly often, as it has good direct connections to downtown Toronto. You can get…read moreregular buses to Union Station, Yorkdale, and York Mills among other places, and the train service is both ways on weekdays, shuttling you quickly and smoothly into the big city. Looking forward to it being evenings and weekends if that cargo bypass ever gets built! Anyhow -- the station is well organized and has elevators for those who aren't able to use stairs, and ample signage so commuters don't get lost. I recommend using your Presto card instead of the ticket machines if you are able, because the machines are super clunky. That's everybody though, not just this station. There's lots of free surface parking if you need it, but Brampton transit has many buses that go to Brampton Bus Terminal/Brampton GO so you can ditch the car entirely if you want! The area has a lot of good shops around it, but there are a few dodgy bits, so keep aware of your surroundings.

It feels luxurious because you can always find a seat. However, they're only available at 7:19am and 7:49am. This station is much busier than it used to be in the past. Parking is full by 7:30am. GO Transit has also introduced reserved parking spots for close to $100/mo. There are still plenty of free parking spots available, but GO will keep adding reserved spots as more people request them. The number of free parking spots will only diminish. Illegal parking in the parking lot is not worth it, as I hear that tickets are close to the same price as a reserved parking spot. Parking in residential areas is also not recommended due to bylaws. From what I hear from a co-worker who takes the train from Maple station, the Maple parking lot is almost all reserved parking. The station has free wifi now. They always show CP24 news on the TV, which is a great distraction while waiting for the train to arrive. I also enjoy the humor of the customer service reps on the train. "Tracks are for trains. If you're not a train, you shouldn't be on the track." "Thank you for choo-choo-choosing GO."
