After our amazing…read moremom suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on April 14th, she spent time in the hospital and then a rehabilitation facility. Following her release, both of our parents moved into Clearwater Agritopia Assisted Living. Our large family has always come together to celebrate Mother's Day at our parents' home, so this year we were unsure how we'd honor that tradition. Clearwater Agritopia stepped in with incredible kindness and extra effort. Despite already hosting a large and elegant Mother's Day brunch for their residents, they graciously agreed to accommodate our entire family. Brian, the Culinary Director, extended the brunch hours and ensured there was enough delicious food for our group of 25. The food was phenomenal--from the prime rib to the "Marry Me Chicken," garlic lemon parmesan broccoli, candied carrots, mascarpone mashed potatoes, and a wide array of desserts. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. As someone with celiac disease, I was especially grateful that Brian took extra steps to make sure I could safely enjoy almost everything on the buffet. That kind of care and consideration meant the world to me. For our event, we were given a large, beautifully arranged private dining room, allowing our entire family to sit together and honor our mother's strength and her ongoing recovery. It was a truly special moment for all of us, made possible by the extraordinary team at Clearwater. I feel also need to add here that the Clearwater experience goes beyond just one day. In the weeks since my parents moved in, I've spoken with many residents, and every single one has shared how much they love living at Clearwater. Now, I understand why. Every staff member we've encountered--whether from dining, culinary, maintenance, housekeeping, healthcare, or administration--has been exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional. The amenities are outstanding: restaurant-style dining, a movie theater, art studio, gym, cozy gathering spaces, and regular social activities. Most importantly, my parents are supported and safe, with consistent management of their medications and help available at the touch of a button. Clearwater Agritopia has given our family peace of mind and a sense of home. They've created a warm, welcoming, and joyful environment where our parents can thrive--and for that, we are truly grateful.

When we arrived we found my mother on the floor, where they had preformed CPR. We cannot get an explanation of the staff's actions, because Enclave will not respond to our inquiries. Beware if you have a loved one in this facility. Document everything and be an advocate for yourself and loved ones. The staff and management turnover is constant. It's not the type of management you would want in a senior care facility. This is totally unacceptable and irresponsible behavior.

Took good care of her really were sincerely interested in her well-being. About a year and a half later she had a terrible stroke and went to the hospital. Parkland said let's bring her home because you have eight brothers and sisters and we'll have a hospital bed and a 24 hour nurse so you guys can visit with your mother. She passed a week later, and everyone in the family got to see her, or get a telephone conference, to say they loved her. We highly recommend Parkland memory care for your consideration.

Through experience I have come to believe that staff turnover is highly correlated to quality and consistency of care. As I searched I was looking for an intimate and clean setting with low staff turnover as an indicator that the staff were happy in their job and therefore capable of providing consistent high quality care. Many, if not most at Parkland have been there 5-6 years. It was no contest. Parkland is a great facility, built specifically for memory care patients. What truly impresses, though, is the caring, attentive nature of the staff...and I mean everyone from the executive director to the caregivers!! They actively engage the residents and are kind, attentive and respectful. I am so happy I made the choice to take her to Parkland. She recently passed but loved her time there, especially loved the staff and the residents. If you have choice, you need to look at Parkland first. Incredible!

Their homes, care facilities,…read moreetc. Recently, I've been lucky enough to have weekly visits to Countryside Living in Queen Creek. The facility is only a year old, and you'd never know it. Everyone seems like they've known each other for a lifetime and the hardworking team of employees has made a beautiful home for those living there. I've been blown away by this facility. From the attentive staff, the residents, the beautiful grounds, their activities and inclusion of all residents- it makes my heart so full. You feel like family the moment you walk in. The upbeat and compassionate energy is so contagious. They have one activity that I'm particularly touched by. Each week, Trader Joe's donates their unsellable flowers to Countryside. The residents join in the common area to create their own floral arrangements, which decorate the halls and lobby of this one-of-a-kind establishment. The smiles, the conversations, the interactions with one another...it's beautiful. As I was leaving today, after the floral arrangement activity, they had a little table set up in the lobby. "FLOWERS: $10". On the table were beautiful arrangements made by the residents that they were selling to visitors. My heart melted. How proud they were of their masterpieces and how each week, they meticulously pick out stems from the BOUNTY of flowers that were donated and put their own personal touches into their creations. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase an arrangement. This wasn't made by an expert florist. This is a bouquet made by the hands of someone very special. Someone who finds joy in the small things. Someone who has a lifetime of stories to share. Someone who sees the beauty in friendships, small talk and being in the moment. Someone who reminds me everyday why I do what I do. Thank you, Countryside Living, for making each day a beautiful one for your residents.

We moved my great aunt here last summer from out of state…read more When we moved her here, she could walk and still do quite a bit by herself or with assistance. Of course, because of COVID we were unable to visit her in person and could only do window visits. During these visits, we noticed the lack of care and compassion from the employees. Often times she would press the call light and it would take them 40+ minutes to come, good thing she wasn't laying on the floor. Or she would tell us she never got breakfast, her water was empty, etc. Once we were allowed back in to visit, it was too late. We watched my Aunt basically wilt away as a result of the lack of human touch, visitation from family, care, and compassion. When we were able to visit her a short 5 or so months later she was completely bed ridden and passed away in April. Becky was one employee that should absolutely not be in healthcare. The day my aunt passed away she looked at all of us and told us we should leave, my aunt was waiting to die until we left. How incredibly rude to say to a family watching their loved one slip away. I also observed how rough these employees were with my fragile 90 pound aunt and as a healthcare worker myself, saw their improper techniques when it came to moving patients. It's dangerous. I would HIGHLY recommend you take your loved one somewhere else. After voicing our families concerns to both this location and corporate and not hearing back, it is evident that Mariposa Point Staff do not care about their residents or family member concerns.
