He said it was like that my watch was never like that then I get it and they're scratches on the back where you clip it. I took it to Dick Pond store and the jeweler fixed it in two minutes right in front of me, he said, whoever took the links out didn't know what they were doing. I am very upset that this place even had the audacity to charge me. I definitely will not be back and I have a lot of things I always get fixed. They did a nice job on my ring but now I had to second-guess them. It's just a mediocre jewelry store.

Grady's has hands-down the absolute best service! All repairs are done in-house, I had my ring back within a week, they fixed all four prongs at an insanely reasonable price including cleaning and polishing, was advised I can come back any time for a cleaning/polishing at no cost, they would inspect the repair every 6 months and repair if necessary... at no cost, and, best of all...... I can wear my ring all the time now without worry as the prongs were repaired so they no longer catch on ANYTHING!!! I will recommend their service to anyone, near or far!

Nothing is better than dealing with a family owned mom and pop business and the 56 years of being a part of the community and in business it shows why they are the best around!!!

Called my jewelry quality "red flag" which was not only rude but incorrect - overall her demeanor and method of checking my jewelry was very low class and pathetic. Measured the jewelry wrong too (so their scales are not reliable fyi) and not in front of me; speaking of red flags. This wasn't the first place I went for a quote - all other jewelry stores were respectful so this was a first and surprising. Maybe she was just one uneducated lady working there. What's funny is that I have exact record and knowledge of my jewelry with paper work so all it did was make me think this business hired an inexperienced, ill mannered and pathetically rude woman. Wouldn't go there again. If I was the business owner I'd definitely check in - customers are not stupid and it's better to just admit you don't know about a certain item or you low ball because of your personal profits. Don't disrespect someone's valuables and always be kind. Also, get a XRF spectrometer you guys ;)

We went to the Summerville Polly's and they did a phenomenal job at repairing. I was so happy to see it still looked the same as when it was brought in but just better and like new. I was also told at checkout after someone heard it was a family heirloom, that this piece is at least 90 years old and that the sapphire was lab grown. I was told lab grown was more precious in that time period as well. I felt closer to the family members of mine whose ring this belonged to and greatly appreciated the story behind my ring. I would recommend Polly's on N Main St to anyone. Especially if you have jewelry dear to your heart in need of repairs. They also kept my mother and I updated on the repairs, having to redo the band, and on another piece brought in for repair (looks good as new too!)
