Called about this 3days ago still out here for our pets to get sick. Looks as if someone split it in half now with a rock sickos! This is not a mouse its a mole but for the amount i pay for 1bed compared to other people (like 60$ more) I actually wanna throw up. Lets talk about how i was out of power for a week because they wouldn't show up. Shall i upload the video of my apartment when i moved in? Like MOVE IN DAY MY APARTMENT LOOKED TERRIBLE!!! Knobs off, chipping cabinets and closets. My tub is still chipping and the guy who came to "fix it" not only tried to blame the person who had only moved in 2 days ago but he didnt ever come back to reglaze my tub. Did i say ever? I signed the appointment for him to come back and everything. Dont be fooled by this disaster of an apartment its bad. You walk into what u think looks pretty look closer its not cute. Those pretty chandeliers are missing 7 bulbs! And the only pretty color paint is on the 1st and 2nd floor even though they told me they were doing the other floors when i moved in. Its a joke here! Got groceries? Hope you packed the budgie too! This isnt really their fault tho. And lastly the part that pissed me off beyond measure! THAT FITNESS ROOM MAY AS WELL BE A FUCKING KIDS CENTER! Every piece of equipment is broken. The treadmills magnets are all cut clean off. The bicycles seat wires cut. The pully thing lol broke! I was so mad cause they actually fixed them and less than a week later all vandalized! So i see where the problems are. But i also know this place is just gonna continue on a downward spiral! I will not renew my lease i dont think they really care. But they will if i post things all over the lease office floor. They wont pick it up for a week or so anyway. I label this place inhabitable or infested with roaches rodents or bedbugs in about 2 years... If not then it may as well be. Did i mention that people drink openly at the side door sometimes smh. Zero stars

We really like having a 2-car garage, not something you typically get with an apartment. The grounds are kept up very well, and the neighbors have all been very nice. We have 2 dogs and it appears so do most of the residents here, as it's very dog-friendly! The staff who I have dealt with, in particular Yehmien, has been fantastic, friendly, and very helpful, especially when it came to our move-in. I would highly recommend taking a look at this place if you are in the market for a nice apartment in this area, you won't regret it.

I've lived in many apartments in my day (through college, etc) and this is by far the quietest I have ever lived in. I'll occasionally hear the toilet flush on one of our neighbors or the shower going, but otherwise nothing else. Ever. We are only the second tenants to live in our apartment so everything is like brand new yet (which is why the higher rent is justifiable for me). I like the granite throughout, hardwood floors, ceiling fans in most rooms and two car garage is awesome. We have a nice back patio that backs to trees, which again is great. Whenever we've had to put in a maintenance request in, Kenny is here the next day to take care of it. He's awesome to work with and does a great job. Maintenance requests were light bulb out, we nicked the paint and wanted a touch up. I typically email Kena, the office manager and always get a fast and friendly reply from her. Neighbors are nice. Neighborhood is nice, safe and quiet. Very happy here!!

Waynewood's pitch to you when first taking a tour of their premises is the promise of living in a gated, safe community. There's TWO gated communities. Each gated community has an electronic gate for car entry and an electric door for pedestrian entry. The one in the front where the Waynewood's office staff live, and the gated complex in the back. The front complex is what it claims to be. If you don't have a keycard, you can't open the gate. Rules are enforced. The complex in the back? A ghetto. Lazy people who don't carry their key cards on them who will literally just camp outside in their cars until someone swipes a key and then proceed to "piggyback" and sneak in before the gate closes. Idiots who prop the pedestrian door open all day because parents are too lazy to meet their kids when the school bus lets them off. What is the point of paying $100 more in rent compared to other apartments in the area for the "privilege" of living in a gated community...when idiots do not get fined or punished for not having their security cards on them at all times? Everyone gets one assigned parking space but routinely rude neighbors wouldn't pass this information to their guests so you'd come back having to park farther way than you deserved to. We made numerous calls to have our deadbolt replaced but they just did a piss poor job of fixing it every time. The main burner on our stove didn't fit and they never swapped it out. Try cooking on a skillet that's on a 20 degree slant. Here's the best part: After living there for a couple of months we realized we got bamboozled and found a MUCH better apartment elsewhere. For a few months we were paying for rent at two separate apartments, praying for the day the Waynewood lease ran out. When Waynewood realized we weren't living in their apartment, they bullied us to return the keys so they could quickly shop for new tenants. They claimed they would terminate our lease early if they could find people to take it over. Seeing what a piss poor job they did at enforcing people to keep the gates locked at all times, we declined while continuing to pay our rent on time. We had electricity shut off in the old apartment, unplugged our appliances, and turned off power coming into the apartment by flipping the switch on the fuse box. What did these jerks do in a show of spite? They entered our apartment, WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION, plugged everything backed in...and left all the lights on to purposely drive up our electric bill. Then denied ever doing it while having the audacity to tell us what we owed for electricity for the month. Don't be fooled. For what your paying, it's just the illusion of safety, unless you can get an apartment on the side where Waynewood's staff actually lives. Because they care about the well being of themselves...just not you. Unit #414, Time of purgatory May 2014 to May 2015

Apartments a pretty spacious as well. As for the Bad... Management is rude I asked if I could use the hose because I spilled something on my trunk mat and wanted to wash it off. They lady looked at me like I was crazy and said no. I paid rent for about 6 yrs and I felt very displeased. When you have an issue and want to create a ticket they practice no empathy to the customers paying rent. Such dissatisfied and unwelcoming faces upon walking into the office and once in they try to rush you out. The Management in Victor L Cassar who is the owner of this Apartment Complex are very rude and are will to argue with you for any complaint you bring to their attention. I have to call literally and throw up the white flag and say I don't want to argue let's find a solution together and move forward. The biggest con of them all is rent. You are forced to mail your rent. You can't go up the front office to pay it. You can't go to the main office in Walled Lake to pay it. You have to mail it. If it is late because of some hold up in the mail you the customer have to pay a late fee, If they don't get it at all you the customer have to find the money again, to pay them. You can only hope it doesn't get lost a second time in the mail.

It is located right across from the MJR Theater so that alone gave them extra points in my book. I saw the facilities and the room I would be staying in. It was ok but its better than the apartments in Detroit which isn't saying much. The apartment manager and I sat down and discussed rent and started the paperwork when, for some reason, she decided to make a rude, out of the blue racial joke. She told me a story about when she went to a coffee shop in the neighborhood. In her words, " I was sitting down drinking my coffee and when I looked up I was surrounded by five black guys. I was thinking to myself, am I getting robbed. Then I realized they were just charging their phones". At that point, I was turned off by the entire situation and left. I was like, hello, don't you realize that I'm black. I know I'm light skinned but come on. Its like making a sexist joke in front of a woman, it's just not right. How rude was that. When I got home I looked reviews on the complex and realized I dodged a bullet because they apparently have a mouse and rodent problem. In my opinion, don't even bother applying here because you will just waste your time.

I've lived here for 3 months so far (Oct-Jan), so I cannot comment on the pool. I have a 2 bed 1 bath unit. Pros: -No surprises/things I wasn't expecting -Safe Location- Old Village Plymouth and Hines Drive. -Friendly, personal staff. They sent me a hand signed Christmas card. -Very well maintain units. Extremely clean upon move in. Carpet was brand new and appliances were in excellent condition. -Spacious+big windows with lots of natural light. (Windows are newer, not drafty like previous places I've rented from) -Grounds are very well maintained, snow removal is prompt -No dogs (I like dogs, but I've have dog poop problems at other apartments.) -Water and heat are included with rent -One reserved parking space per unit and additional parking for guests. Depending on the unit, the additional parking might not be as close as some people prefer. I've never had a problem finding spots. -Low turnover of tenants (Some of my neighbors have been here for 7+years Cons: -Washers/Dryers are coin and in the communal basement. Not a surprise or huge issue. -Heat uses a boiler system, so you can hear water running through it occasionally. It's minor and the plus is that it doesn't make the air as dry as regular HVAC. -Expect to hear the occasional train. I didn't realize how many trains come through Plymouth. -No gym/amenities. I'm ok with this since the rent is so low. -No dishwasher or microwave. I've read other reviews that say there are dishwashers, but I think that is only in one of the buildings. They were upfront about it and let me see my actual unit before signing my lease. I wasn't real excited about another apartment (I want to buy a house) but this is a great option. Could you find an apartment with more expensive finishes like granite counter tops? Yes. Could you find a cheaper apartment? Yes, but likely not in Plymouth or as nice. What you see is what you get. Considering all of the pros, these apartments are an excellent value and great place to live. All things considered, you won't regret choosing Lake Pointe Village Apartments

I have lived in this complex for 27 years and have had only good experiences living here. The owner, Larry, goes out of his way to accommodate all the residents who live here within reason. The two maintenance workers are top notch. Both of them take care of work orders promptly. If they cannot get to you immediately, they are considerate enough to tell you they cannot get to you right away and even give an estimate time they can take care of your issue. If it is a maintenance emergency, they stop whatever they are doing and take care of it. The office worker, Cathy, is very respectful of every resident in the complex, and just like her boss, Larry, goes out of her way for everyone here, The grounds on this complex are beautiful and very well maintained. As far as car break-ins, no matter where you live, this is something everyone deals with no matter where they live. Larry has hired night security and they drive through the parking lot. This is something many apartment complexes will not provide. No one is allowed to openly smoke marijuana. The lease you sign specifically states a no tolerance to drugs and if the resident is caught, they are immediately evicted. The only stipulation to this rule is if a resident uses marijuana for medicinal purposes. Even then, you have to have a card from the state of Michigan on file in the office, and it is the residents responsibility to produce an updated card when the card they have on file expires. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a nice place to live check out West Garden Apartments. I would not have lived here for 27 years if it was such a horrible place.
