Had an amazing experience repairing my DJI MINI 5 drone that I bought only 3 weeks earlier and crashed lol. As a new "pilot" I got a bit cocky by overriding the auto-fly back from low battery which forced (unknowingly) a forced landing of which I crashed into palm trees and then boom 30 foot drop onto the concrete! I smacked my Yuneec Typhoon H Hexicopter into the big rock on Pismo Beach at a pretty high speed, and thought I'd totaled it. The 4k camera, two motors, a motor arm, and half of a landing gear were destroyed. Well, the miracle workers at Sky Drone Link proved me wrong! I picked it up today, tested it, and it's like new. The team repaired everything (none of the parts I gathered from the sandy wreckage could be used, but that's okay). And you won't find anyone nicer. He is the kind of person you enjoy talking with, and he takes the time to explain everything. Yuneec's customer service is now, non-existent. We went to three of their advertised service addresses in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, and they all had been vacated. I had recently got my Dji repaired when I say the turnaround was reasonable believe me fast and reasonably priced.

Do not take your drone to these so called techs. Brought in my drone to be fixed and it was not. I paid over $400 for my drone to be worst after I picked it up and got a good chance to fly it. I brought my DJI Mavic Pro Platinum to Sky Drone Link a few weeks ago, because image quality had become very blurry. Melissa was responsive and upfront about the process and costs. Mark did a grear job discussing the issues when I dropped the drone off. They knew I needed it back quickly, and they were able to accomodate diagnosing and repairing the issue quickly. Again, they were upfront about the process and pricing. This would have been a 5 Star review, with the one exception that they only have an option to pick up/drop off equipment late in the afternoon, which put my drive home right in the middle of rush hour traffic. I'm new to the world of drones and I decided to partake in the hobby. I bought a new DJI mini 2 drone and took to the air. Needless to say, soon afterwards, I hit a tree. I really thought I had messed up my brand new drone! I emailed this shop to set up an appointment to get it fixed. I paid their assessment fee and hoped for the best. When they called me to say they were done, they let me know that nothing was wrong with the drone at all! The problem with my drone was me being a bonehead because I had put the stupid propeller on backwards! Anyways, other than the assessment fee, they didn't charge me. They could have easily made up a story and charged me more if they had wanted to because they knew I didn't know anything about drones. But they did the right thing and was completely honest with me. If you look up online the complexity of drones interior, prices for replacement parts, etc. you aren't going to fix it yourself and certainly aren't going to save much money than just going here where they know what they are doing. read more

The repair quality is top notch. I dropped off a DJI Mini to get the arm replaced and while getting it inspected I was told my rotors needed cleaning as well. The drone was returned to me in top notch working condition. The only reason they don't get 5 stars from me was due to the lack of communication. I had to reach out to the repair team after 7 business days of not getting a call to give me a quote on the repairs. Recently crashed my brand new DJI mini 3 Pro- hit a branch, dropped on a rock and flipped over into some mud. Destroyed the gimble and one of the rotors rusted and froze up. Did tons of research and almost all of the repair services require you to mail your drone to them wherever they are and I did not want to do that at all. I discovered Sky Drone link and set up an appointment to drop off my drone in person and it was extremely easy. I set up my appointment over email with Melissa who was extremely professional and responsive and then dropped the drone off with Mark (technician) and he was excellent- extremely knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through the whole process. They diagnosed the issues with the drone after a few days and quoted me a very fair price to proceed with the repair. I know some repairs take longer that others but they were able to fully repair mine in about 4 days and I just picked it up yesterday. I was able to test it with Mark and it's like it's brand new again and working perfectly. I don't intend to crash my drone again but if I do I will absolutely be working with Sky Drone Link again.
