I have an extreme dental phobia (especially to tools and needles) due to a number of negative dental experiences that left me with traumatic memories. I avoided going to the dentist for 3-4 years until a crown started to bother me and I knew I had to go in somewhere before it got worse. Being new-ish to the Denver area I was worried about finding a new dentist - and a sedation dentist at that - because I knew I wouldn't be able to get through another dental procedure without being sedated. I am so glad I found Dr. Weyman with a quick google search and reading reviews here on Yelp. I was even terrified to make the phone call to get in to see what was going on with my teeth. Every one of the staff was very calm and understanding of dental phobic patients like me, which made me feel more comfortable off the bat. My first appt to get X-rays etc., also went well as the sedation specialist helped explain to me the way sedation works and how after the first time patients have much less anxiety because they know what to expect. Dr. Weyman has a very good bedside manner and has some very funny jokes to keep you at ease! My first Iv sedation appointment went spectacular. My biggest fear was remembering what happened but I can honestly say I don't remember a thing! As soon as the sedation medicine started, I truly fell right to sleep - and I even remember having some dreams and thinking I was at home sleeping! I am so happy to have had this pleasant dental experience because it made me feel like I can conquer my fears and not feel embarrassed about needing to have sedation. I also felt 100% cared for and felt 100% safe with Dr Weyman and his team. Thank you so much Dr Weyman + staff! I am actually looking forward to my next dental appt because of you! DENTAL WORK: I let them operate on one tooth - a root canal and crown in Dec 2018. That tooth still hurts and has issues (Aug 2019). I went family DDS at home (all the way in chicago) to get the crown adjusted. The same tooth required antibiotics multiple times since the procedure. The tooth was not ground down but cut flat and sharp as if with a saw (seen in xray after procedure). STAFF/SERVICE The payments seemed their only concern. The office staff called me at least 3 or 4 times to ask me to schedule work after initial visit. I definitely felt pressured and even confronted the staff asking them if they needed my money. After I became a patient, the staff women were unfriendly, unhelpful and didn't even know who I was despite dropping 2k+ on the procedure. Regretting my decision. Don't regret yours!

The last time we went, they told my daughter she had four cavities and I wasn't feeling confident about that so I went to get a second opinion. I was turned onto this place with high recommendations. The person who I originally went to see has left the practice, the new person is Dr. Christina Lynn, DMD. I feel that she is a very honest Dentist. Today was my first visit with her. I went in for my six month cleaning with Eric who is the dental hygienist and then Dr. Lynn came in to give me my exam. She was awesome, everyone there from Ashley who answers the phone, to Eric who cleaned my teeth, to Dr. Lynn who did my exams, everything was wonderful. Hi head set up appointments with my entire family on different days to get their teeth cleaned and other dental things done that was going on. I feel confident that Dr. Lin knows what she is doing. I WOULD recommend this place.

I'm still using Platte Canyon and they are still exemplary! I never dread going to the dentist.read more
