We have been trying to get in contact with him for the last 8 months, since January and still no answer through email, text or calls. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR NO ONE TO WORK WITH THIS COMPANY, SPEAKS A LOT, BUT DOES LITTLE WORK. DISGUSTING SERVICE, BIGGEST REGRET OF THE YEAR.

Lots of miscellaneous things, including multiple mattresses, heavy wooden tables, couches, etc. I needed a professional and affordable company that could show up the next day. This wasn't my home, this was an asset that I manage for work. It was imperative for me to get this done right because I had people to answer to. Not all of the furniture fit thru the doors, so these guys had to take a lot of it apart. They worked quickly, were super friendly, and the price was truly a deal!!! I was impressed with how careful they were removing things. It is so easy to mess up floors, walls, etc if things are removed carelessly. By the time they were done, their entire truck was jam packed (see pic). These guys treat the project as if their working in their own homes, which is why I hired them a second time to come clean out my apartment in Brooklyn as I was moving. I needed a heavy bed frame thrown out, a 2 piece couch, 2 glass patio tables, 2 dressers, a small table, along with miscellaneous trash in a few garbage bags. Trust me, it is easier to hire someone to do this instead of trying to coordinate throwing all of this out via street trash. Hauling it down is hard, breaking it up is even worse, but making sure santitation takes everything and avoiding tickets is close to impossible. Use these guys, you will not regret it!

In August 2017 we hired Whitestone Contracting to do a complete renovation of our kitchen and…read moremaster bathroom. Our COOP required a number of permits and insurances to do the work in the building and Rene was able to provide all of them. Upon completion of the project we experienced a problem with the construction of the bathroom floor. The tile floor was put in a full inch and a half below the toilet flange. This gross oversight that made it impossible to install a toilet. It cost me an additional $700 to bring in a plumber to repair their mishap! A year and a half later in February 2019 we began to experience a number of problems with the tiles that were installed in the bathroom. The tiles in the shower wall where the fixtures are located began sinking into the wall. There were also a number of tiles on the adjoining walls that were becoming loose. The grout in between these tiles began falling out. I was concerned that the water from the shower would get behind the tiles and we would experience mold! I contacted Rene and he came to inspect the work that was done in the shower. He had no explanation of how this could have happened. It was quite obvious though, the workers didn't use nearly enough cement to adhere the tiles to the newly constructed walls. A cost cutting short cut for sure! A date was set to make the repairs. Since I did not have any leftover tiles he asked me to procure some more tiles and he would reimburse me. I stayed home from work while they made the repairs. It was a good thing I did because I found the workers trying to reattach tiles that were chipped. I pointed this out to them and they recut them before being installed. About 7 months later we began finding a whole new batch of tiles in the bathroom coming loose. After several weeks of reaching out to Whitestone I received a number of excuses why they were unavailable to come back again to do more repairs. I remained persistent and continued to call, in order to hold them to task. We finally set a date and they were actually very helpful. They even took it upon themselves to pick up the tiles and provided all supplies. I regret not being able to be home that day from work to oversee what was going on. Even though the tiles seemed firmly affixed several of the tiles installed are chipped and uneven. At the end of the day we are stuck with a job that shows a complete lack of attention to detail and workmanship. In the days that followed I sent a number of texts and emails to try to get an explanation of the unsatisfactory work. I only received a text from Rob saying how he was sorry and would address it with his guys on Monday and that he would call me. I never received any call. In addition, I was never reimbursed for the tiles I had to pick up from the first repair. After two years of living with Whitestone's lack of professionalism I am left feeling like my only recourse would be to pursue this in small claims court. As the pictures show for the thousands of dollars we paid for our bathroom this is not an example of a professional installation. Based on my terrible experience it would behoove you to stay away from these guys.

I remembered the owner of the company favorably from a differently named local company, so I felt confident hiring them for snow removal on an ad hoc basis. As the owners of a local home, we needed to secure someone quickly to remove the sidewalk accumulation while we were out of town. We were sent a contract which I quickly read--my husband was ill and I was distracted--but I did reply and ask if the contract obligated us in any way after the following day's snowfall, as if we were ourselves able to do the snow removal. The reply was ,"No, you are not obligated. Just let us know when you will be doing it and we will note the list at that time" Mistakenly, I believed this did not obligate us any further, but received a $350 bill for the past two days--when we were again out of town and I was not aware of the approximately 1.6 inches of snow during a storm that impacted the area (as per NWS). When I emailed the company to question the charge as I believed it was in error, I was informed "we do ask that you notify us in advance when you will be handling the snow removal yourselves so we can mark your property accordingly for that event." "Since we did not receive notification prior to the snowfalls on January 17th and January 19th, your property remained on our active service list, and service was completed in accordance with the contract that is currently in effect through December 1, 2026. (We) also want to note that we did not hear from you after the January 17th service, which led us to reasonably proceed with service again on January 19th. For that reason, the invoice reflects services performed on two separate dates and remains due." Legal ? Probably. Unclear? Definitely; IMHO of course. Deceitful? Certainly in my book. Needless to say, I did reply, clearly, today that I wanted to cancel the contract. We actually still do need a company that offers services on an ad hoc basis, but I'll stick with Taskrabbit. Cheaper and way more upfront.

Chris came to the house, gave a quick inspection of the foundation of the house and then set the radon test in the basement near the radon pipe. We mailed the test to CM Burrows as we were instructed and he sent it off to the lab. We received a very detailed report letting us know that we were in the safe zone and had nothing to worry about. The test was inexpensive for the peace of mind that we have knowing my family is safe. Definitely worth the money to get the test done.
