The birthday party looked super fun, though everyone appeared happy. We were a little confused at entry because there was no host, but once we got our reservation figured out a server came right over and took our orders. Our server made sure that the drinks came out fast and were delish. I would definitely go back.

This was important because two people in our group have medical conditions that make it difficult to stand for long periods. We ordered drinks and had been seated with an open tab for about 30 minutes when an employee approached us and told us we needed to give up our seats because the area needed to be "reserved for the owners," who were on their way in. Shortly after, a bouncer pushed through with the owners' entourage -- including a man in a tuxedo and several others -- and we were expected to clear out so they could take our seats. I have never experienced being asked to give up seats at a bar, after already ordering drinks and sitting there for a while, simply so the owners could sit down instead. If seats are reserved for ownership or VIPs, that should be managed before customers are seated and ordering drinks, not after they've already settled in. Unfortunately, this left a pretty poor impression of how customers are treated here. 1 star

Though it's much more expensive than my usual haircut places, I figured I could justify the "$39 Buzz" cost since the virus buzzcut would be my last for a while. One of my maxims is that you should never let your guard down when getting a haircut from a new person. Unfortunately, I let my guard down and was taken advantage of at G2. On entry, I had to step over a dog gate since the shop doubles as a dog daycare. "I hope you like dogs" I was told as dogs jumped all over me, including on my lap. In the midst of a global pandemic, but, of course, pets are above reproach. Soon after my stylist entered the shop, actually carrying her dog, we got down to business. I doubt she washed her hands as, remember, personal animals don't count, but I ignored this and made my intentions clear. Most other shops are closed, you're going to be shut down by Friday, give me a buzz cut. I was kindly asked if I knew how short a buzz cut was, and I replied affirmatively. I then opted for the hot towel thing, knowing that this was definitely included in the $39. I was really stressed out and was looking forward to relaxing for at least one full minute. Unfortunately, as soon as I tilted back, dogs started sticking their wet noses around the cuffs of my pants. This went on continuously. The music playing overhead in the shop, which was actually quite nice, clashed with a totally different channel played in close proximity to my right ear. At some point, the miniature dogs stopped nosing me, and instead had a brawl in the center of the shop floor. I was happy when the haircut started. I had requested a buzz and the stylist suggested that I should fade it. Sure, I said. Of course a $39 buzzcut should be faded--this requires no further explanation. Ten minutes later, I was all done and the cut was totally acceptable (though no razor edging, which I realized later). I was kind of preoccupied with the fact that this was the first time I had clearly seen my hairline since 2014 and my 401k is down by 30% but I snapped out of it and shuffled over to the cash register. When I was rung up she told me that the cut would cost $59--the most expensive haircut I had ever received. I replied that the website said the buzz was $39. She replied, matter-of-factly, that that was without a fade. It was delivered in a way that she genuinely seemed to believe that the way things had transpired was normal. When a new customer comes into your shop looking for a buzz, this isn't a sneaky upsell you should try to make. You should be honest and say "a buzz with the fade I'm suggesting will cost $20 extra, is that okay?" Simply, the shop atmosphere was stress-inducing, I wasn't treated properly, and I ended up paying three times as much as a buzz cut should cost. But at least they sanitized the pens.

It's pricey ($120 for 30 min signature massage) but worth a treat every so often. When you arrive they take you to a relaxing lounge with lemon water to change into a comfy robe and flip flops. You can hang out in the lounge after. The soaps/shampoos in their showers / at their sinks smell amazing. I've only done nails once years ago and it was not worth the price. But I'll definitely be coming back consistently for massages. One annoying thing is that they charge 100% cancelation fees within 24 hrs of service which is pretty difficult to handle with 2 kids which could mean a last minute emergency. My Tuesday two nails had chipped. I was gutted and leaving Wednesday morning. By the time I got to the airport at 6 am on Wednesday, 4 nails were chipped. In what world does a $150 ish no chip manicure last 48 hours?! I tried contacting them several times. They finally replied after three follow ups with a very casual response about a discount on a future service. Why on earth would I do that? I'll never trust that my nails won't chip again. After I pressed further, they ghosted me. I'm super lucky I have time/money to spend on a nice treatment like this. In this economy, service with prices that high should be white glove instead it's giving I can't believe you are bothering us for not giving good service. Take your business to a local salon instead. You'll get a better price, nails that actually last the 2 weeks and more often than not you'll get good customer service that small businesses often pride themselves on. I booked a partial balayage with a Level 3 stylist, only to be told by the stylist they were a Level 1. The manager assured me this was actually a Level 3 and their "go-to" balayage (unbeknowst to the stylist themselves) so I proceeded. Instead of a lovely balayage that added pieces to my existing ombre / balayage look, the less experienced stylist put in thick blonde chunky highlights that were coppery in hue so my whole top of my head didn't match the bottom at all. After letting the staff know I wasn't happy, I was booked a visit with the owner. She was extremely pushy and I had to be more vocal than I wanted about showing her pictures of hair similar to mine, which she disregarded "because it's curled" (cool, I can curl my hair too). She AGREED my hair was too blonde and didn't look like the balayage photos. After SHE SHOWED me several photos that were actually what I expected, she promised to fix it, but REFUSED to tone the coppery and too blonde hair down. I TRUSTED her that she would fix it (despite being very pushy, talking over me, and literally telling me all she care about was "finances"). Unsurprisingly I walked out with still too blonde, 1999 highlights that didn't match my natural color at all and will grow out quickly. Her advice? "Book an appointment in 4 weeks". Aka, wait for it to grow out, then pay me more money.

**BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING. WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD THE FULL AMOUNT BEFORE SERVICE**…read moreI've been going here for years so I am appalled to learn that this salon is willing to lie to make $110.00. I have been going to see Charminique for years. She does great work with color and styling but she is consistently late to every single appointment and always "running behind". My biggest mistake was to continue to go to a person who isn't timely. I made an appointment for June 8th at 9:00 AM. **I booked online and was charged for the entire amount before having a service** I arrived to my appointment 5 minutes early. Charminique had another client in her chair when I arrived. She hadn't even started styling the clients hair. I took a seat and Charminique asked me to wait 10-15 minutes to finish her client. 10-15 minutes went by and she wasn't ready for me. 30 minutes passed and Charminique was not ready. I got up to leave as I had another engagement to which I needed to be on time. I filed a dispute with my credit card company to get refunded and Kenyon (owner) and Charminique lied to the credit card company stating I showed up late and left without saying anything. Actually, I told Charminique I was leaving because my appointment was at 9 AM and it was 9:30 AM and she was still servicing another client. She said sorry and asked me to wait (the audacity to ask me to wait more than 30 minutes past my original appointment time). The owner was there and witnessed everything and didn't say or do anything to right the situation. If you like sitting around for hours wasting your entire day in a salon, go to Time Hair Gallery! If you like a business that has no integrity and will lie and to keep your money, go to Time Hair Gallery. If it took $110 to be rid of this place and poor service then it is a $110 well spent. would give negative stars if possible.
