Original Snap, Crackle & Pop Square
Rachel K.

We ordered Skorch'd Pizza for delivery through Doordash and got the My Little Roni ($26.99), and original snap, crackle, pop square ($4), a snap, crackle, cookies and cream square ($4.50) and two house ranches ($3/each). Everything was packed well and the ranches were included in the pizza box and the dessert bars were each in their own little container. The pizza was thin crust and they use the pepperoni that turns into pepperoni cups when they cook. The flavor was good, but there wasn't much cheese on the pizza. Still a solid slice. We dipped our pizza in the ranch and it is a great ranch, flavorful and perfect for dipping. The snap, crackle and pop bars were just ok. They seemed to be packed pretty densely instead of being more fluffy and gooey. It's a me preference, but they were still a nice dessert. I preferred the original over the cookies and cream one because the cookies and cream was even more dense. We agreed that we'd try this spot again and loved the fun names for all the menu items.

Ordered the My Little Roni, nothing little about it! Sauce was perfectly acidic with a bit of heat behind it. Crust was crunchy and chewy in the best way. Cheese and pepperoni were perfectly balanced. Delicious hot and cold, best pizza I've had in a while. 26 bucks to feed three people? Unheard of. They had it ready in ~15 minutes too, so fast!

Skorch'd Pizza really impressed me and earns high marks as one of the better pizzas in Sacramento. The pickup location is a bit tucked away in a community kitchen building off downtown, area a bit sketchy, so delivery might be your best option. That said, once you've got it in hand, the pizza speaks for itself. I went with the My Little Roni and it was very tasty. The dough was solid with good structure and flavor. I would have liked a bit more char overall that's just personal preference but even without that punch of char the crust still worked great. The sauce leans a little on the sweet side, but it paired nicely with the pepperoni and didn't overpower anything. Overall it was a very enjoyable pie. I'd comfortably put Skorch'd up there in my top three pizza experiences in Sacramento. Whether you pick up or have it delivered, it's definitely worth trying if you're into well-made, flavorful pies that stand out from the usual options.

People who judge this business on the exterior of the building that the business has no control over and won't even be bothered to try the food or interact with the business owners should never be allowed to review. Or maybe stick the better food their husband can make. This place is amazing and the other reviews reflect the same. Don't be a hate reviewer and think your somebody because your not. Businesses live on the REAL reviews to be the best they can. This place exemplifies that. They will do whatever they can to make your experience the best WITH WHAT THEY CAN CONTROL. It's a ghost kitchen. They dont own the building. Got a problem with the homeless? Tell the building owners not the businesses trying to make a living but cant change the slumlords busines model.

Was so excited to try their pizza and was not disappointed. We got the "rose roni" and the "nothin plain about it" pizzas. Everything tasted so good. Will definitely come back to try the other flavors. *Chef's kiss*

I do not understand why they do not have five stars. This is the best pizza I've ever had in California. I lived in New York for a few years, and I am extremely picky. Their pizza has generous toppings and a to die for crust! Got them today on DoorDash and I do not regret it. They also wrote a cute thank you on the pizza box which I love. I purchased one side of ranch which I thought was a little pricey for 3$ but they included 2 in the box which made it better. I will recommend them to everyone & I will absolutely be ordering again.

Pepper my Roni and Are we really doing this?

Pictures do not do these pizzas justice. I had the "Pepper my Roni" and "Are we really doing this?". The dough is incomparable to anything local. The closest would be Uncle Vito's in Midtown, but this beats it hands down. Eat it while it's hot to capture it in its holy glory!

First time trying this place, and it was absolutely worth every penny! I caught them live on TikTok and had been wanting to try them for a while. I finally ordered delivery, and they definitely lived up to the hype! I got a half Rose Rone and half Little Roni, and it was AAAHHHMAAZINGG. I even got to watch them make my pizza during the live, very friendly crew!

best pizza in town hands down, not to doughy and has a nice crunch. I tried the spicy pig and also the Fenway, both are great I personally liked the Fenway better and it pairs nicely with their hot honey. The team is awesome and take pride in what they do, nothing but good experiences

Garden Grazer + Pepperoni

The pizza had great flavor, texture, and spice. It's not oily and you can taste each ingredient with every bite but the crust was overdone/burnt to me. The "restaurant" is a rather sterile and dystopian. The lobby worker was very nice and helpful with helping us navigate the whole experience. I'd love if they expanded to a traditional restaurant, allowing the customer to eat at a table immediately after receiving their pizza.

Best pizza in Sacramento, look at my profile pic, I love pizza. I ordered the pepperoni pizza for $26, you can't beat the price. 16" pizza with quality ingredients all around. Crust: not as thin as some New York styles go, but a happy median that allows for some serious toppings to go on. They cook it to where it gets the perfect pizza oven char on it, it's not burnt. I could eat the crust like a breadstick, you don't want to throw this down the trash. Sauce: their sauce is different than what I'm used to. Hearty, has some tomato skins and chunks, flavor is there and you won't be disappointed. Cheese: they use good stuff and they did not cheap out. Not too oily and cooks to a great color. Toppings: I only tries pepperoni and they are the delicious kind that curls and has a respectable thickness. Seeing how they value every component of the pie, I'm sure all toppings are superb. Try these guys out! This is just the start, I see a brick and mortar in the future.

So good we couldn't get a photo before digging in.

Great pizza you gotta try it, I hope they can grow into a bigger space. I had the pizza with sausage, peppers, and ricotta.

Food was amazing! So crispy and fresh. They say they are the best pizza in sac and they are correct. We finished 2 large pizzas so quickly!

The pizza was really good. You can tell it was homemade with not a lot of extras on it to take away from the Great taste of the bread.

You'll find street parking in the area, and it's typically easy to find a spot with parkmobile right by the restaurant. They have plenty of seating, including some booths and seating on the windows. It's great for a quick meal solo, with another person or for small groups, but anything more than 6, you're going to want to take your food to-go. I typically take my orders to-go and they're always great at packaging items for the journey back to wherever you're heading. Our number one item is their pepperoni squares, but everything is delicious. I love trying their sandwiches and will often order a salad to pair with our pizzas. The salads are always elevated and super fresh and flavorful. Keep an eye out for their specials on social media and their website. They made some fun, and delicious, combinations and it's always nice trying something new from them. It's always a treat when we get to stop by.

[Sis takes first bite of her pepperoni slice.]…read more *KRONCH* Woah. :o! This is it. Pizza in Sac that actually has a crispy undercarriage. I had the hawaiian slice and yup the first bite was ASMR crispy goodness! Very tasty red sauce as well but I'll say as a negative not enough topping amount (didn't really taste the spam and the pineapple gave only a slight sweetness edge). Next time I'll probably just go with the cheese pizza slice. No-fuss chill vibes. Interior and outdoor seating. Definitely a food spot to check out if you're near the state capitol!
