I was advised to take my 3 year old snow blower to RDO for service, as it wasn't starting after…read morebring used just twice! I dropped it off, and it took almost a month to get an estimate of $750, on top of the $155 repair survey! New, it was only $800 to buy! Curious thing was that to fit it into my SUV, I had to disconnect the handles. Wjen i dropped it off, i said I would reattach them, but RDO staff said they could easily do that! Estimate i got when i picked it up noted the unit was disconnected, and had a charge for reattachment! I feel totally disrespected over this, made to wait an inordinate amount of time to get the estimate, and would have had much replaced to "get it running again!" Odd thingbis i took it to another small engine repair service, who fixed it in a day, for a total charge of $95, and it now runs great! I truly feel they were just screwing around, trying to get me to buy one of their units to replace mine!

Since my…read morelawn service company dropped my contract this year (I am sure in favor of a higher-frequency, more lucrative customer), I resolved to get my mower serviced, and took it in to RDO. The quote I received was very reasonable, and so I left it with them. They advised me that it would take 3-5 business days, which was fine as I was headed out of town. Sure enough, I got a call on the 4th business day that it was ready. After a bit of confusion over the original quote, I paid the amount I expected to pay and got great help loading it into my car. Got it home, added gas, and got to work on our somewhat overgrown grass. It mulched like a dream, and there were no little clumps of grass as there had been in the past. And, it was so clean it looked like (almost -- remember, it's over 10 years old) NEW! Thank you RDO!
