I had to interrupt the receptionist from playing on her phone; she said that we were quiet walking in and she didn't hear us bc of the heater. How the heck you couldn't hear us when two people were having a conversation right in front of you. The sale guys did not seem interested in selling anything. It almost felt like we interrupted their ping pong game. Lol!! Then Nick the sales guy sits us at his desk. We had interest in a boat that we did see on their website. It was pending sale. So he mentions a jet boat, that they just got in on a trade, gave us details and explains it has not yet even been looked at and when it does he will let us know. Gave us paperwork on it and told us we'll be hearing from him after they inspect it. Why do I receive a phone call two days later from him saying it was sold 10 minutes after we left. The boat hadn't been inspected, nor it was never listed -it came from your mouth. Well I will never be back because the place taken their own judgement on not selling anything to us. You must thought differently about us but now I am happy because another person made the sale. Good luck and please work on not judging a book by its cover!!

During the boat show at Devos Place in 2020 I made a deal with Nick Farris at Gull Lake Marina in…read moreCoopersville Mi. to purchase a Crest 2020 Classic DLX 220 SRC for $49,669 . He gave me a copy of a marked up estimate sheet stating so. We talked about finalizing the deal the following week as it was Sunday. When I received the official paper work to sign the options were changed, a steering package was switched to lesser package, $1943 lesser. When I mentioned it to Nick he stated that it was because the boat he gave me an estimate on was set up for a motor of 200 hp or more, I ordered mine with a 140hp so they changed it but failed to give me the credit for the difference. He said he would talk with his manager and see what he could do. He came back with "You're in luck, my manager agreed to make up the difference.". I'm thinking I'm in luck?, but let it go. He then sent me another purchase agreement that took off $1,399.42. A little short of the $1943. I brought this to his attention and after speaking with his manager he again stated " You're in luck ..." . The last purchase agreement I received from him took $1,840 off the price, it should have been $1,943. At this point I was tired of arguing with him and agreed to pay it. I was very happy with the boat overall, but when filling out the survey that Crest sent me I did not give good reviews to the dealer. I then received a call from the service manager at the dealer. He was very understanding and stated that he would do what it took to make it right. He indicated he was going to give me a credit on my account there. I was wrong. I had trouble with the snaps coming apart on my mooring cover which I thought were under warrantee. I brought the cover in and they fixed it, no charge as I stated I thought it was under warrantee. I then had more snaps come apart the following spring and brought it in and they again fixed them no charge. In the mean time I made some purchases and charged it to my account and it made my account have a negative balance of $43.79. I didn't think anything of this as I was expecting to be credited with about $100. I was wrong, when I called the service manager he stated that he was under the impression that by him fixing the mooring cover the second time that it took care of the $100 that I was never credited for on my original purchase. Now every month I get a statement in the mail reminding me that I owe them $43.79. I sent him this letter and he said we'd call it even. Since then I have had the upholstery start splitting at the seams. I called the Marina, sent them pictures and he said he would forward it on to the warrantee dept. I never heard from him so after 4 weeks I sent an email, another 4 weeks went by and I sent another email. The response was "To my knowledge someone else in my dept was supposed to take this case over. Since that happened we have been cut off from any sort of Crest warranty because we are no longer a dealer... Unfortunately there is no longer anything that we can do." I can only assume that Crest cut them as a dealer and I am cutting them as a supplier.

American Anchor - Our new beautiful boat

A tree totaled our pontoon. After a week, of looking for a replacement, we decided that maybe a…read moreboat was not in our future. Then we found the perfect brand new pontoon on American Anchor website. It was perfect and the right price (believe me, we looked at hundreds of boats, mostly used and way overpriced). The boat was within the price we received for our 2016 pontoon. Unfortunately, it was Saturday, I was in a panic that it would be gone by Monday. My husband emailed the website, wrote that we were very interested and specifically what we wanted. Tim D. called us right back, said he could do everything we wanted and that the boat was ours. He actually called us back 2 times during his night off to answer our questions. I was so relieved and excited that the boat was ours and didn't have to worry it would be gone. We went in That Monday, saw the boat, and it was beautiful, just like the photos we had seen. They made our purchase very easy and we found the perfect boat for us. They had everything installed perfectly and ready to go in a very timely fashion. Tim even helped us order the diving board and had it installed. First time we had ever been there but in the future I will always go there for our boating needs. Thank you again American Anchor, Tim and boat mechanics for making our new pontoon purchase very enjoyable. surprisingly we love this boat and layout more than our last poor boat.

Chris gave me apples for apples, best price right out of the gate with no bartering. I did show him my research on boats. This was in January I believe, boat is yet to be built and delivered this spring. Great experience and they earned a new customer. In addition to that, he helped price and market my used pontoon boat - sold in 45 minutes for more that I paid for it ! Yelp is putting me in Ca., what an insult, I am from Fremont, Mi. !!!!!!!!!!!!
