In my experience, many doctors do not listen very carefully and rush you through your appointment without taking the time to talk through the various factors that could be affecting the problem under discussion. That is definitely not the case with Dr. Goldberg. Beyond her fantastic "bedside manner," I have also experienced her to be incredibly effective. Not only has she helped me with a variety of issues related to improving my overall health and well-being, but she discovered the root cause of a long-term recurring stomach problem I had suffered with for a decade. Her treatment completely resolved the problem, which has now been a non-issue for 1.5 years. Seeing Dr. Goldberg has improved my quality of everyday life in very substantial ways, and I continue to rely on her excellent advice and wisdom when problems arise.

I started seeing Dr. Marie for treatment of a chronic digestive condition for which traditional…read moreWestern medicines had provided no sustained relief for years. I was dealing with significant pain and was unable to really function as a person, not to mention work -- and was told by numerous doctors that my only choice was invasive and often-dangerous major surgery. When I came to Dr. Marie, she obviously had either treated patients with my condition before, or had done a great deal of research. Her therapies have been effective, have not caused any side-effects that I've noticed, and have left me feeling energized. I've been able to start exercising and working again, and no longer feel pressure to undergo that surgery. Dr. Marie genuinely cares for her patients and takes the time to explain exactly why her treatments work the way they do. She also encouraged me to undertake positive lifestyle changes that I would have once thought impossible. She has literally changed my life.

After not sleeping properly (3-4 interrupted hours per night) for almost seven years due to a head trauma, my husband met with Dr. Becker. She and her team are on their way to cracking the code for my husband's improved sleep and brain health. Every night since being under her care and following her treatment program, he is gaining more and more sleep time. The hours in bed with headphones, unable to sleep because his mind will not stop racing, continue to decline. I cannot offer up enough positive comments for Dr. Becker. She is an outstanding physician with an excellent bedside manner. Her patient, firm and confident approach has enabled him a safe space to share "what's really going on" and ultimately get the specialized care he's needed for over seven years. Also, since seeing Dr. Becker the first time, we've moved from DC to Chicago and she and her team have not missed a beat. We do appointments remotely and all supplements are efficiently shipped. Because, making sure we have what we need when we need them is critical to our improved well being. Thank you Dr. Becker and Alana.

While it was extremely expensive (totaled about $1,000 out of pocket with zero insurance reimbursement), it was 100% worth every penny. I had an ELISA/ACT blood test that revealed all the foods and chemicals in my body causing inflammation and digestive issues. Once I cut all of them out of my diet, the symptoms I'd had since at least the early 1990s disappeared completely! I've recommended Dr. Becker to many friends and colleagues since I saw her. I really believe the entire medical community needs to focus more on what we put in our bodies (and on our skin) and how it affects us. I'm grateful for Dr. Becker and the help she provided me. I believe it may prevent much worse conditions, including stomach or colon cancer, which run in my family.

If not for her, my quality of life wouldn't be as good as it is. As someone who facilitates sessions to help clients (a different kind of work, RES), I find Jessica to be a powerful role model for me of compassionate, generous, skillful, all-in service. Rebecca Berkson's acupuncture is just plain superb. Although I've had many acupuncturists, I'd have to rate her as the very best. Also, I'd like to give a shout-out to Robin and Nan, nurses on staff. Consistently they're so responsive, professional, and kind. June, who helps with insurance, has been dependably diligent. And remarkably patient, too, now that I've finally switched over to Medicare as my primary insurance. One final point, about the high standard for customer service. The culture of service at the Kaplan Center really stands out for me. Such authentic caring, personal commitment to service, and professional excellence. It just shines through. Over the years I've been glad to recommend many friends, and even some clients, to the Kaplan Center. Why do I put my personal reputation on the line in this way? Of note, the last time I did a Colonic Hydrotherapy session, I was on my monthly menstruation cycle. I just wanted to say a few words about the benefits. What's interesting is that I have never experienced more excellent relief from menstrual cramping than I had while doing the last colon hydrotherapy session. Although I had not been aware of this, Robert pointed out that the procedure of Colon Hydrotherapy has been around for 3,500 years and has been used in 7 different civilizations. My point of view is that there's nothing that works any better for relieving menstrual cramping than using this procedure, so I highly recommend that you try it, especially when it's that time for you.

I knew it would help me at least get some medicine out. My 1st colonic confirmed I was impacted and desperately needed to get the toxins out. After several colonics, I explained to Robert what I was dealing with. He said, "Just keep doing these, it will go away". What? Really? My head couldn't comprehend colonics curing sinusitis. Well, here I am 6 months later, and that's exactly what happened.
