I saw a SkinFix special online on 20 units of Botox and made an appointment. A friend of mine told me to be careful of the specials because anyone offering them usually manipulates it to where they use less product or they "water down" the Botox. I've had Botox in my frown line area before at a plastic surgeons office so I'm aware of the process. I saw one of the ladies there and she was very informative. She took really good care and I left the office pretty happy. Within a few days, I was barely feeling anything, my frown was moving at full capacity. I waited a total of two weeks where I still had a frown, just significantly lower yet I was still able to move. I contacted the lady who assisted me and she asked for a video, which I sent her. She then sent me the current frown vs the frown I had before the Botox and tried to upsell me another 10 units. I feel like that's shady business and I won't be visiting there again. I was supposed to be going there for frown and full forehead in 3 months and now I have to find a new company. read more

I got a dermal infusion today with Callie and it was awesome. Highly recommended! She's in one of the Belle Vie II salon suites in old town next to CorePower. She's made it feel super cozy in her room with relaxing music playing in the background so you don't feel like you are in a cold med spa with no ambiance. The dermal infusion left my skin feeling clean and hydrated, she also gives you the choice of what type of serum you would like it to be done with based on skin concerns (choice of 4). The tip of the dermal infusion wand is made with diamonds so you get a lot more dermabrasion than you get with the hydra-facial. This was my first time getting the dermal infusion and I was a huge fan! You get to see all the dead skin and gunk that comes off your face at the end - gross but shows you how well it works. It's clear she's super knowledgeable about proper skin care routines and products. She helped me pick out an eye cream and made some other recommendations to my current routine but did not push anything on me which I appreciated! She recommended I book a microneedling appointment next based on some of the concerns I talked to her about and I can't wait to go back for it. Her prices are also very reasonable in comparison to some other med spas around town. I know there's a lot to chose from in Scottsdale when it comes to skin care but definitely give SkinFix a try and you won't be disappointed. read more

I recently saw an ad on FB for this business. When I called to make an appointment they absolutely refused to book an appointment without a credit card number. I've never been to this business before, I found them on Facebook, I didn't feel comfortable giving a credit card on my initial phone conversation with them. I've been getting facials and Botox for over 25 years and I've never had to give a credit card to secure an appointment for these types of services. I go to the dentist, to the hair salon, the nail salon, any kind of service that you can imagine, and I've never given a credit card to secure my appointment. Perhaps after my first visit there I would feel comfortable giving a credit card for my next appointment, but they wouldn't even entertain that idea. Their reasoning was that their Botox injector is "extremely important and her time is very valuable". There's so many other med spas and clinics and places you can go and get Botox. It is ridiculous to turn someone away for not giving a credit card number over the phone. They lost a great client and any referrals. read more
