My first Hi, skin experience was magical, and I wish I lived nearby so I could treat myself to a facial from Madison every month. This location is great - it's in a cute shopping plaza right off of Scottsdale Road with plenty of free parking available. I received the "Really Good Facial" with added dermaplaning. Their set-up is accessible while still promoting relaxation: stations are arranged all in a row instead of in private rooms, to allow for an easy-breezy skincare experience. I've had facials in the past where my skin has broken out afterwards, but that's not the case at Hi, skin. Every serum or cleanser or oil used was intentional, and all of the products felt and smelled amazing. I actually ended up purchasing some of the facial oil after my service on my aesthetician's recommendation. If you've never indulged in professional dermaplaning, it's definitely worth adding on. I left feeling like my skin was glowing, and had zero issues with irritation or redness in the days that followed. Decided to pamper myself and scheduled a Saturday visit for a facial at Hi, Skin. Booking online was super easy and quick. I made sure to fill out my forms prior to my visit so check in was smooth and easy. The lobby area is super cute and comfy and I really liked the décor. The receptionist was friendly and got us both (my sister and I) checked in. We sat down and waited about 10 minutes to be called to the back. My facial was done by Emily. Emily was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made me feel welcomed. I really got the impression that she enjoys what she does. She offered me a blanket and a water so I took the blanket just to be a little more comfy. I booked the "Better Facial" and it was approximately an hour long. Emily walked me through every step and product that she used and what they were for. And omg everything she used from the tools to the products felt and smelled really good! I really enjoyed the extractions (although painful) and the facial massage. Towards the end she gave me a quick shoulder massage to end it off and my service was completed. Emily showed me three products that she recommended for my face but I chose not to buy them. She then walked me to the front desk for check out and payment. The receptionist was not pushy nor persistent about future services, which I'm so thankful for. I get annoyed when places try to make you feel like you have to schedule a future service right away and or sign up for their memberships. My total was $105 for my facial including a tip. The facial had a special and was only $79. Totally worth it and I cant wait to stop by again! read more

For context I have been a member for over a year now (back in my day it was called the better facial, and yes insert vigorous cane-waving) and I cannot underscore how much value I have gotten out of what I've paid since then. Suffice to say being a customized facial, you get great results! Granted nothing wrong with a spa facial either way, but for people like me that have to combat eczema and flaky skin on the reg, having a skincare experience tailored to what your skin needs PLUS the expertise of an esthetician is huge. My first time visiting the Scottsdale office was just as great as my normal visits (I was a regular at the phoenix location until I moved recently). Addie took a moment to go in depth about my routine after my facial which was super educational. Some people in general may have differing opinions over the product recommendations, whether it's too pushy, just getting you to buy, etc. It really is up to you how much you want to get out of your experience at the end of the day, and if you become a regular and start seeing a primary esthetician, they will certainly understand your approach and meet you where you are. And for the people who like good vibes, the Scottsdale office is beautiful so there's that. AND it's next to a Trader Joe's! Anyway would 100% recommend. if you are interested in a facial and are unsure you should come to hi skin or not please let me convince you! i booked a facial for my brother and i as a christmas gift maddison was my specialist and i can't recall my brothers specialist :(, but both were phenomenal. both ladies spent an hour on our faces with specialized and customized treatments/products for our specific concerns. i was so relaxed the entire time and never once was in pain with any products or treatments. maddison was so gentle, informative, kind, and helpful when suggesting product. my skin looked like a glazed donut afterwards and i got so many compliments of how fresh and glowy my skin looked thank you so much hi skin team you were amazing and i can't wait to come back again! do yourself a favor and treat you + a loved one during the holidays. this truly was such an amazing gift! read more

I booked a 30 min lymphatic drainage facial that cost $90... I felt like my face was just cleansed and then tickled with a guasha. Also it only lasted 24 minutes. It was also kinda loud in there and not relaxing. The girl was nice though but definitely don't recommend, not at all worth the money. read more

Been going to the hi skin locations in uptown Phoenix and Scottsdale for a year and a half. Way better than the competitor facial bars! It's not a spa vibe (where you're in a separate room) but the estheticians make sure it's super relaxing and your skin is so glowy and clean after. I've bought a ton of their products too and my skin has never looked better. The membership is well worth it for a monthly facial. read more

I love Hi, Skin. I've been to all 3 locations and this is definitely the coolest layout. Everyone is always super nice and knowledgeable on the products and very careful about your skin concerns. Anna was my esthetician and was so sweet. Their product selection is vast and chosen with purpose. I personally get the monthly facials and have used some reccomended products and noticed a change in my skin tremendously. I had a really pleasant experience. It was grand opening day when I went in from 3-4 on the 1st of December. I had Kaitlyn, who was fantastic. They were running a special for the month of December and I saw it through Wild Joy Experiences. The location is visually appealing, catchy and trendy. It was so relaxing and my face felt great afterwards. I would go back and like their membership idea since they are expensive. I didn't have enough money to go through with it so I didn't get the deal so I probably won't do it now but it was a nice experience. read more

The space was clean and everyone was nice, but I've gone with groups twice now and the facial services are vastly inconsistent - obviously folks will get different products, but we've had some estheticians who disappear for long periods of time between applying products and others who are there the whole time, giving massages, etc. Both times, there's been at least one person who was brought back notably late and finished on time/early and didn't get their whole hour's worth. read more

I will start off by saying I like the concept. The staffing has been a little inconsistent and Everytime I have went (5 times) if I find someone I like they have either quit, got fired or moved location. The main reason for the 3 star review they charge 3% to use a credit card and don't tell you till you go to swipe your card-cheesy! It's the cost of running a business. Add it into the cost of service. For that reason I am ending my membership and trying somewhere else. read more
