I hadn't had a facial in months. I noticed the name for this place when strolling around Carlmont Shopping Center over the years, but somehow I never checked it out. Until yesterday. I had an acne facial with Ivonne and my skin is much happier. Ivonne has been is business here for 15 years and really knows her stuff. She interviewed me thoroughly to find out about my skin care regime (which often is non-existent by the time I get my son to sleep and am ready to pass out). Then she proceeded to give me an excellent facial using Dermalogica products. I had a galvanic treatment for the first time, which calmed my skin a lot. During the mask, she massaged my neck and shoulders which was relaxing and felt great. Ivonne offers many services including: * facials * Microderma-facials * body wraps * waxing * spray tan * teeth whitening * permanent make-up There is free parking at Carlmont Shopping Center and her salon is located upstairs. Ivonne accepts credit cards. I am pleased to find a top-notch esthetician in my own town of Belmont.

From the very beginning, everything felt easy and welcoming. Jen quickly offered several appointment options, and I was able to come in the same week. Her studio is incredibly cozy and calming, with a soft, peaceful atmosphere that immediately helps you relax. But the best part is Jen herself. She is warm, professional, and wonderfully attentive. Her hands are incredibly strong and confident, and the treatment felt so much more than just a facial, the massage of the shoulders, décolleté, neck, and face was absolutely amazing. I especially appreciated that she explained what she was doing throughout the process, because I really like understanding the "why" behind treatments and skincare steps. She also gave me a few thoughtful, realistic tips for home care without ever making it feel pushy. Jen is simply a very tactful, kind, and genuinely caring person, and you can feel that she truly loves what she does.

I am very results oriented--which means I want your skin to improve! I do facials using enzymes, and other peels including a fantastic new line called Osmosis. It's the first non-acid peel! I love waxing! I specialize in Brazilian waxing for both women and men. I use the blue hard wax which helps to minimize the discomfort and is more gentle on the skin.
