I had a fantastic experience at Skin Studio! I was in town for a wedding and arrived late, stressed and with gross airplane face. Valeriya kindly accommodated my last-minute appointment, and spent the time getting to know my skin and regular regimen, before moving onto a firm, massage-based European-style facial. I really don't enjoy facials where they stick a mask on and leave - no issues here. At my request, we spent more time hydrating and only did minimal exfoliation, as I am on a light retinol. Her extractions were gentle and I had no downtime or irritation before my event the next day. She also recommended, and gave me an LED treatment at the end of the facial, which was my first time trying LEDs - I have since invested in an at-home machine. Valeriya is very good at what she does. I purchased the 90 minute facial Groupon, and have been searching for a new esthetician since mine moved away, without any luck until I came to Skin Studio. I was not treated differently for using the Groupon, and got well over 90 minutes worth of custom treatment. She did extractions and explained what she was doing during every step, so I felt more educated about my skin and skincare afterward. Truly a great job, and I have no redness the next day. Best facial in Cherry Creek! I've had many facials in my life and this by far is hands-down the best for results and feeling pampered. Booked an appointment based on yelp reviews. My voicemail was returned promptly and I was able to get in that weekend. Valeriya asked several questions to get to know me and what I was looking to do. Having just moved to Denver from CA, my skin was dried out and excessively oily both at the same time which has caused clogged pores. She examined my skin closely and recommended we focus on cleansing my pores. Her products smelled great. Her technique was soothing and thorough. She used an electronic device to clear my pores that I've never had before (and I'm somewhat a skincare snob). The extractions were pretty painless with the device yet so thorough. I enjoyed the massage and the cold glass therapy she used to calm any inflammation. Lastly she used a tool to close any open pores. All in all my facial was about 1.5 hours. I really liked the products, Valeriya's technique, and great personality too. My face is practically pore free now after one facial with no redness. I have been going to Valeriya for about 5 months. I bought a Groupon in April thinking it would just be a one-time visit to wake up and moisturize my skin after the dry winter. But she was SO pampering, and, as other reviewers have said, she customizes facials and truly makes you feel special when you're there. What I appreciate is that Valeriya does not do the same facial on me every time, and instead switches it up based on my skin's needs that day. My face has never felt more smooth, glowing and healthy. Needless to say I look forward to going now on a regular basis! In addition, the prices for her outstanding services (and products) are reasonably priced. My daughter got married last Saturday and I had mentioned it to Valeriya a month or so before the date. She actually reached out to me and offered to give me a FREE mother of the bride facial a few days before to give me some much needed stress relief and help me put my best face forward. This is the best facial in Denver! If you are looking for results, look no further. I had been using the most non-toxic, high-end products for years and would still get hormonal breakouts, uneven skin tone, dry skin, etc. Four sessions in with Valeriya and it has completely turned around.
