I've had 3 sessions with Co Kim. I love the feeling after my 3 hour appointment where Co Kim worked her magic. Totally worth your money. It all takes place in a tiny 6'x15' room, decorated nicely to distract you from it's size. The session consists of: Cleansing & steam Pore suction Light mask application Extraction Eyebrows tint Microdermabrasion Cooling oil Antibacterial wand Cooling mask Moisturizer The major problem is that she's totally booked for several months now & it's incredibly hard to get an appointment on weekends. I haven't seen her for over a year & would love to go again but she is absolutely hard to reach. I would hope that she expands her business with an apprentice/receptionist so that my face can experience the magic again. read more

The minute you get into her studio you feel so comfortable and at home with Kim taking care of your facial needs. That was my feeling when I was under her care. May be I had my happy day! Besides, she gave you recommendations on how to make your skin better daily. Kim is truly an artist who can do magic on your facial skin. Come in and give your skin a feast. I rarely rate any business five stars, but in this case Kim exceeded my expectation. Keep up the good work, Kimberly! read more

Oh my goodness! I couldn't be more happier to have found this place!! Of the many places I've been to throughout my life; I have to say, Kim is a good esthetician! I was referred by my friend who only had great things to say about Kim and her skills. When I asked what made her so good?! she simply said I needed to go have a treatment to better explain why. So I did and she was amazing! Detailed and thorough! Most estheticians don't go into discussing skin treatments at length nor allow you to witness their work in front of your eyes with a mirror. I couldn't believe how my drastically skin improved with the microdermabrasion. When she shaped and tinted my eyebrows, they were the best they have ever looked! Unbelievable perfect! Definitely coming back! Ladies, if you are looking to try someone who is really going to take care of you skin, do give her a try. You will not regret it! she does great work, for a great deal and with a lot of love and passion! You will love her! read more

I've invested in regular very expensive spa facials the past 4 years and fine skincare products since 16. Kymberly is actually providing essential skin treatments and not just washing and massaging your face, which you can do yourself at home. Microdermabrasion and deep suctioning impurities out is so effective I can't believe I waited this long! Wow, eyebrow touch up too?! I learned so much from Kymberly because she teaches you how to properly clean, moisturize and maintain the proper morning & night regimens. The passion, commitment and care she demonstrates is amazing yet her rate is so reasonable! Kymberly spends no less than 3 hours per session! She's truly doing this because she loves to help others look and feel beautiful. Absolutely adore her and she's so very good at what she does. I highly recommend her. read more

I had a delightful experience getting the European facial and microdermabrasion. I have never gotten a facial and wasn't sure if I needed one but as age is slowly creeping in I thought I should try it out since I heard that microdermabrasion helps with wrinkles and clearing the skin. The surprising thing was that Kim kept telling me that my skin was already really good. This made me a little relieved because I was afraid she would suck me into coming back again or buying her products. The procedure was long but it was a nice kind of long since she was teaching me what to do in my daily facial cleansing routine and the whole treatment felt good. She was very thorough, explaining every step and letting me see how much dead skin she was removing after the dermabrasion. I absolutely loved the eyebrow tint and she shaped my eyebrows so evenly. The tint only lasted for 2-3 days but because she shaped my eyebrows so well, they still look good even after two weeks. I am very happy with the whole experience. I bought the ginseng face wash and moisturizer and my face continues to feel clear and smooth even after 2 weeks. read more

I've been getting my facial done here 3X now. I wanted to hold off on reviewing this place until I see results. l've started coming here since July and every other month after. My reason to coming here is hoping she can get rid of my dark spots on my cheeks as well as even out my two tone I have all over my face. I wanted a smoother complexion! Surprisingly she was able to do all that! My dark spots are lighter and my complexion is so much nicer now! I think only one more session and my dark spots will be gone! Then after I just have to maintain it by following her care instructions. Co Kim is absolutely amazing! My face is glowing now! It's very hard to get an appointment with her as she is booked until April! So I went ahead and scheduled every other month for the rest of next year! Her rate is awesome too! Can't beat $75 for 3 hours! Don't forget to tip her! In the 3 hours she steams the face to pop any pimples, cleanse it, then after she does the microdermabrasion, and lastly is the mask. During the whole treatment she discussed with you what's best for your skin type and what products to use. You won't be wasting the 3 hours! It's totally worth it! read more

Love love love Co Kim! It's been almost a year, and I finally was able to get an appointment with her. Since this is my second time with her, she skipped a lot of the talking and went straight into it! I have problematic/acne prone skin soooo there were definitely a lot to work with. The extractions hurt, BUT I DIDNT CRY THIS TIME. My face is pretty red/puffy right now, but that's normal. It usually gets better in a couple of days. Co Kim works her magic, and I'm so glad that I get the chance to be her client. She truly cares and gives the absolute BEST service. She even plucked, waxed & tinted my brows!! THANK YOU, CO KIM, FOR MAKING ME FEEL BEAUTIFUL AGAIN. I highly recommend coming to her. It is definitely a wait, but I swear that she is sooooo worth it. I mean the reviews speak for themselves. I will continue to send my friends and family her way! read more

Co Kim is seriously my angel...not only is she just the sweetest human on earth but she is insanely good at what she does. I'm so lucky to have been able to snag an appointment due to a cancellation. Having suffered from adult acne for the past year and really bad clogged pores, I was desperate for help. Co Kim knows skin and she's a master in clearing up acne. She literally spent 4 hours (no joke!) on my skin extracting every clogged pore and then a thorough session of microdermabrasion. I got to see the microdermabrasion filter afterward and in awe of how much dead skin layers of skin it picked up. During the whole procedure Co Kim explained everything she was doing and made recommendations of what products to purchase and use after treatment. She was adamant about me following her recommendations to clear up my skin or else turn me away if I wanted to come back! Yes she's that serious, she does this for the love of it definitely not for the money. I mean seriously who just charges just $95 and spends 4 hours on your face. Only Co Kim! Co Kim is also such an interesting character and a woman of many talents...she's a fashion designer, drummer, and philanthropist on top of being a skin care expert. She's in such demand and as a result her waiting list can be a year long. So make sure you book early. Two weeks later my skin looks clearer, smoother and literally no pores. I'm so pleased with the results. Thank you Co Kim! read more

Where is the 10 star option? Co Kimberly is the best, hands down! I have been going to her for the last year and feel so renewed after each session with her. She truly does skincare as her passion and it shows through her delicate technique, the time she takes on you, the results you see and her efforts to educate you about how your skin works. One of my favorite things is she hooks you up with eyebrow treatment and her microdermabrasion is marvelous! See my photo to show you how much dead skin she extracted after one session . She is such a hard working individual , and has an amazing heart of gold! She has so much love for her community as well through all of her volunteer projects, and I've even been lucky to join her with some. Thank you Co Kimberly for blessing us with your talent and passion. You are truly a gem! read more

Skin Makeover Artistry - Dead skin after one microdermabrasion session! - Makeup Artists Near Me - Westminster, California

Been to busy with life/having new baby at home to fit in pamper time. I knew kim's practice got busy and all the other reviews mentioned needing to book months in advance. I tried my luck last week and texted kim with times during weekday that I could come. I hit the jackpot! Even thought I had. I have not seen kim for 1 year, she still remembered me. I came at 1230pm and left at 330pm. Her price went up to $95 but still worth every penny. She included her usual awesome eyebrow shaping and tint. She spent over 20 mins on my eyebrows alone. I have tried other microdermal abrasian in orange county due to better schedule convience but this far, nobody can beat her meticulous treatment, and time spent. Other places just quickly spend 1 hr rushed treatment. read more

I've had my fair share of getting facials, so I have a pretty good idea of what to expect during each session. So, my facial experience with Kimberly was definitely unique. Yes, her price is very affordable, but that's not the reason why I like her. Unlike other places, Kimberly literally takes her time and extract every zits on my face. Guys, when I say she takes her sweet time, she LITERALLY does. My apt was at 4pm and I paid for a 3 hr session so I assumed that I should be done at 7ish? Well, the whole session took about 3.5 hours long with no extra charge! Usually when I get my facials done at other places, they would kick me out once when my time is up, but Kimberly did not! Honestly, I low key wanted her to finish (b/c I was tired of laying down for hrs). Not to mention, she used a pore suction machine on my face! Now that's something different! I can't wait for my next apt and most of the reviews are spot on- totally worth the money! I loved my facial so much that I even made an apt for my boyfriend hahaha! read more

Kim is absolutely, hands down, THE best at what she does. I waited one week after my first facial with her to write this review because I wanted to give an honest review after seeing the difference in my skin. I actually did not need to wait this long as I saw results during the facial. I am amazed and I've been getting a lot of people telling me that my skin looks amazing, that I look "fresher", or that I look like I'm glowing. Kim started put my session by asking me about my normal skincare routine. She took the time to discuss and help me understand the necessary steps as well as products that would help improve my skin. I explained to her that I occasionally breakout and suggested that I use two different exfoliants (one for acne treatment and one for combo skill and that I should switch them out every other day so that the acne treatment one won't dry out my skin. I really appreciated her tips and the time she took to learn more about my own routine so that she could help me come up with the best plan. From there, we cleansed my face and taught me how to properly cleanse and massage my face to help "lift" my skin and tighten my facial muscles. Now, the best part, the microdermabrasion. LITERALLY the best part. You can actually see the fine lines disappear as she us doing it. Immediately after she was done, my face felt like a baby's bum. She informed me that the process would cause my skin tp become dry and skin would flake off a day or two after (which it did so don't freak out when you see dryness). Not to worry, after the first 2 days, the dryness went away and honestly, I can't remember the last time my skin has looked and felt this great! The last step was the mask and massage of my shoulders and neck. I probably snored a bit cause it truly was so relaxing that I caught myself falling asleep. The mask helped calm the skin after the microdermabrasion. I know that there is quite a wait to get an appointment with Kim but trust me, just wait for it. I was lucky enough to get my first appointment after only having to wait 2 months. I went ahead and calendared monthly appointments with her so that I wouldn't have any issues with getting monthly facials. Kim is worth every penny and MORE. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to her services. Your face will thank you! Thank you, Cô Kim! read more

I found this place on Yelp and made an appointment for an acne treatment (first time ever) since I have a pretty bad case of acne. My impressions: 1. Co Kim is lovely and she really cares about your session. I came in for a (supposedly) 2 hours treatment, but she took the extra step to take care of me, making sure that the extraction were done throughout. So the session became 4 hours. After meeting her, I trusted her completely that she would give me the best skin care and she did not disappoint. 2. During the treatment, she explained carefully all the steps: about what she's doing, and how its going to help your skin improved. She did everything to make me feel comfortable and showing you how all her equipment are clean and sanitized. 3. The place is cozy, private and relaxing. :) 4. The price was very reasonable or even inexpensive compared to how professional and caring co Kim is. p/s: The place is appointment only. read more

This is my 2nd review and 3rd visit w/ Kimberly...due to scheduling I was unable to see her as I would so my skin requires a little more TLC. She was able to see me the next day (she is always prompt in her responses). After a warm hug from her, she got to work...I needed a little more time w extractions this visit. She is effective yet never too painful. I skipped on the brow tinting but she cleaned and shaped my brows. Then on to her a A+++ microdermabrasion ...she is the only clinician that encourages you to look in the mirror during the process and shows you the results. I've set my follow up in a few weeks and without any disappointment-I left with refreshed skin. :) read more

I was looking through yelp for a professional place where I could get a facial. Since this would be my first time I didn't want to go to just any place took my time to search came across the wonderful reviews about Kim and I decided to go give it a try and see if they where true. I can't definitely tell you they indeed where very true. Kim is amazing just a kindred spirit. Loves what she does but more importantly loves to make other people feel beautiful. You can really see she cares. You may wonder how? but if the price alone doesn't give it away. Come on what she charges to the amount of time she takes and all she does in efforts to make you feel beautiful is priceless. To top it off it doesn't end there she tells you call me I can always help you incase you forget how to clean your face. Wow just awesome you don't find people like that anymore. I will definitely go back and take family. read more

"You HAD acne?! What acne?!" Do you know how good it feels to hear that from the new people I've met??? Do you know how good it feels to not be afraid to look into a glass window or mirror while walking past them? Do you have any idea how amazing it feels to not wish there were a magical pimple-sandpapering device to scrape over your face to make the acne go away and to achieve a smoother skin surface instantly? I've lived with acne for about 8 years since my senior year of high school. Granted, it wasn't cystic acne, but breakouts, redness, and "hilly areas" on my cheeks and forehead were often occurrences on my face. My face was a gross battlefield :( It was painful and embarrassing. Social suicide. I had zero confidence and I wouldn't look people in the eye. But now? After visiting Kim once a month since my last review, using the products she recommended, AND going to the doctor and getting *antibiotics* like she had advised....Now, I can glance up at mirrors and be awestruck...because damn! Who is that good looking person?? Smooth skin! Healthier complexion! I haven't broken out in the past 4 months! I still have some redness, but to have clear skin is always a work in progress ;) I couldn't believe it! You know the cliche movie scene where the super hero first discovers their super powers or how their suit works? Yea, that was me in front of the mirror! I was in disbelief the first time I had the *courage* to look at my face thoroughly! Patting my face with my eyes bulging and gasping at every half second, it was then I knew that things have changed! This is the origin story of my newfound confidence! Bwaha! Dramatics aside, to my friends with acne - be patient, be diligent, make your appointments, it's an internal and external process! Drink water and apply sunscreen! Everyone sees the obvious difference. They're surprised. I feel like people can see me for me, and not my pimples. I've receive compliments left and right. Y'all, Kim's a life changer! Wish I had "before" pictures to show :( But sorry, couldn't bring myself to take them back then :'((( read more

I am pleased to write this report, as this place is truly special. Best in class all the way. First, let's clarify that it's a one person operation. Kim is the owner, and the only employee, so when you make an appointment, you will get the same person that everyone is reviewing. I just finished my second session, and it was amazing. GUYS!!!! The best way to describe her technique is to compare it to an extreme car detail. She basically DETAILS your entire face. The procedure took 2+ hours and involved all the latest equipment. She sands and strips your face, then buffs and polishes. when you are done you look young, smooth, and as handsome as can be. On top of that she is amazing on the eyebrows. Fantastic result with her meticulous highly detailed sculpting. Wax, Trim, pluck, shape...... I could go on and on, but you get the point. Oh...one tip. Her schedule is booked solid a month in advance, and on weekends, even longer, so make sure to get on the schedule. read more

I just got back from my second treatment and I feel more confident than before. This month has been incredibly hectic; the toll of AP testing and preparing for prom has been pretty severe on my face. My skin has been breaking out, but after today, my skin looks smoother than before. I got the acne treatment and am very happy with each procedure. I got a thorough cleansing, extraction, microdermabrasion, and she even did my eyebrows! Throughout this entire process, I knew that Kim wanted me to look my best, especially since prom is just in a few days. If you are interested at all in looking better and feeling more confident in yourself, do not hesitate to call and set up an appointment. Kim is very popular and busy, so make sure you call soon. read more

I have never written a Yelp review, but I was so happy with my experience with Kim that I had to write one! Kim obviously loves her job which is what makes her so great .She takes the time to educate you and explain what she's doing. She's also very honest and tells you what you need or don't need (in fact, she told me that I didn't even need to see her very often since my skin isn't too bad), which is amazing since everyone's always trying to up-sell you on everything these days. I have combination skin and don't have bad acne, but have some damaged pores and scars. Immediately after the session I could see an improved difference, and three days later, my skin is looking amazing! Kim also did my eyebrows and they look great! I'm so happy and will definitely be back. I would recommend this for EVERYONE. For the amount of time that Kim spends on you (3+ hours) and the amount of care and precision she has, this is a steal (you're not going to get this kind of service at this price anywhere else)! read more

The best place I have gone to get a facial yet. Kimberly always make me feel at ease and is very gentle with my face. My skin feels softer and smoother after every appointment. I also ask her to do my eyebrows and let me tell you... they are too good to be true. I can't stop looking at them. Speaking of things I like to stare at, her ceiling has these stars that light up and changes color. They were mesmerizing and helped me relax throughout the microdermabrasion process. I was hesitant to get microdermabrasion but with all these positive yelp reviews I thought I shouldn't fear. Kim confirmed my appointment by text & asked me to arrive 30 minutes earlier so she could spend more time since this was my very 1st microdermabrasion. She was very informative throughout the facial & showed me extraction removal of whiteheads. Her extraction process did not hurt at all. She did a free eyebrow tinting & shaping. I love my new eyebrows. It adds character to my face. When she washed my face, she explained how to take care of my face when I get home because skin care continues afterwards too &she kept emphasizing how we are a team to get my face beautiful. Her microdermabrasion was not painful either. It took 3 1/2 hours for everything. Cost $75! Wow. When I saw my face the next day...I didn't look too pretty, kinda greyish....but after 4 days...my face started flaking/ shedding. Now my face looks so much better. Healthier glow. I am following her skin care regimen. I can't wait to see how I look after a month & I need to make another appointment with her to help lessen my sunspots & dark patches on my face. I highly recommend her. Oh yeah....she is funny too. Very friendly. read more

THE ABSOLUTE BEST FACIAL EVER!!! Let me start by saying that I lost contact with Kim so it had been about 5 years since my last facial with her. During that time I had facials from other people and places and some were good but none could compare to the facials she gave; needless to say I was overjoyed when I found her again and couldn't believe that when I called she remembered me! Initially she told me she was booked everyday for 2 months but would call me if she got a cancelation sooner. She called me two days later and I jumped at the opportunity to go see her. When I arrived she warmly greeted me with hugs and offered me some tea and directed me to a beautifully decorated and tranquil room to prepare for my facial. I layed back and immediately relaxed and let Kim work her magic! I came in with major acne, skin discoloration, scarring and sun damage. Kim spent the next few hours working on my face and neck, cleansing, moisturizing and even did microdermabrasion. Though the facial was supposed to only be two hours she didn't cut the time but continued working to improve the condition so I could see immediate results! And the results were nothing short of a miracle! When she finished my face was actually soft, smooth and supple... something I hadn't felt in years! I couldn't believe what I saw in the mirror and told her it felt like I had new skin! And the icing on the cake was the perfect shape and color of my eyebrows to frame my face! Anywhere else would cost hundreds of dollars for what Kim provides and without the care and attentiveness! Words can't express how happy I was and am. Kim is not just an esthetician doing facials but actually gifted in what she does and you can feel the love and joy she has when making people look beautiful with every treatment she gives! If you want the best facial experience of your life call Kim immediately and get in her book! Even if you have to wait she is well worth it! I guarantee you'll be more than pleased. I know I won't be losing touch with her ever again and looking forward to my regularly scheduled appointments! read more

Kim is honestly the best esthetician around and an overall super caring person. I've been stuck with acne my whole life leading up to now, adulthood. I went to numerous dermatologist that gave me weird drugs that cost me an arm and a leg to purchase. Didn't even help, made me look worse. I went with the Groupon deals that seemed amazing but gave showed half assed effort. I would say I went to at least 15 different facial spots and none even come close to the overall progress I'm getting from Kim. My first session she worked on my for 3.5 hours....she went far and beyond my expectations. It's been almost a year now and I still get excited for the sessions because I know Kim is doing her best to clean out every blackhead, popping every pimple and lifting out all the dirt that accumulates during my everyday life. If your on the fritz about which place to go to just try Kim. She is super affordable, truly cares and will go the extra mile making sure her clients are looking better. After years of searching for "the one," I finally found the perfect esthetician! I cannot rave enough about Kim. She is extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of skin care. She examined my skin, quickly assessed my situation and made some recommendations. Her European facial treatment was incredible. She also performed a microdermabrasion treatment on my most problem areas. I felt so spoiled knowing that she is taking such detail care of my skin. And the bonus??? She shaped and tinted my brows! I have NEVER had that done EVER! And it looked PERFECT! Kim spent over two hours discussing areas of improvement and educating me on my skin. Kim is very thorough and patient as well. I went to her for two years. My appointments were set a year or two in advance because she was busy and I have a full time job. She was the first one I went for facial so I didn't know any better. She did a good job on microdermabrasion but as far as acne extraction she didn't do well, overall her work is only ok. She missed a lot of pimples but I didn't really care because I focused on the microdermabrasion. The fall out happened when she put bengay on my shoulder and arms and she did not washed her hands completely. She applied sunscreen so I can go on my way, but it burnt my skin. It hurt so much. The next two days, my skin was discolored. Just imagine that someone peel off a layer of your skin and then put fresh chili's on it. It was still red and I took a picture of my face. I also sent her a picture of a big acne that she missed, and sent it to her. I constructively advised her if she could be careful next time and expressed my concern that I was afraid I might be scaring. She could have reassured me that it would go away in a few days. She responded with a sad emoji. I didn't want to hurt her feeling because I knew she was sensitive. I called her on the phone. She made an excuse that she was busy because she was driving to a friend's funeral. Who could have said anything to her if she brought up a funeral? Then, she ranted on and on. I had to take her beating. She said how she helped me with all her heart and her price was cheap comparing to others around Bolsa etc. She bragged about service and how she spent 2.5 hours on me etc. She said as if she provided the services for free with a rude attitude. I thought she would not to this to me since I have been her customers for two years but she cancelled all of my appointments. She is unprofessional and vindictive. When you go to her the first time, she was very detail on your face. Second, third and fourth time, the details diminished, unless you tell her that your face is horrible. I went to another facial service and lo and behold, it is almost half of her price and they also do 2-3 hours. They pampered me from A-Z. The microdermasiom isn't as good but this time, I don't care. I can buy a machine on amazon for the same tips that she used. I feel like I'm begging her for her services. You pay for the services but are not entitled to an opinion of the work on your face, which is ridiculous!!! read more

Sadly, I must rate this business as unprofessional. 3 weeks ago Kim called me back on my consult request saying she had an opening on 6/9, which I accepted. Today, I travel 1.5 hrs in traffic, only to be turned away? Apparently she had double booked? If there needed to be a change in my appointment date/time then a courtesy phone call a few days prior to 6/9 would've been in order and appreciated. Please acknowlege that your potential client's time is just as valuable as your own, this oversight was a big waste of my time. Congrats on your business success, but you need to hire a receptionist to help keep track of your appointments so you avoid losing future would be clients. read more
