I'm 2 months into my membership and I'm so happy I made this choice! 4 treatments later and the texture and brightness of my skin has greatly improved. My nail tech asked me if I was wearing foundation because my skin looks so good. The answer was NO! I was with a clean fresh face. It's the laser facials. All of the staff is so pleasant, warm and easy to talk to. The RN's Ashley and Yasmin that have worked on my skin made the experience that much greater. They answer all of my questions with patience and a smile. I can't wait until my next session. The space is super clean, they have a summer product sale, every item I've purchased I like so far, the vitamin c serum, B5 moisturizer and cream cleaner. read more

BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE SIGNING A SKIN LAUNDRY CONTRACT I wish I had read the reviews and every single line of the contract before signing up with Skin Laundry. They do a great job selling the membership and making everything sound simple and appealing. However, my experience after signing was completely different. What I understood I was being sold did not match what I later discovered in the contract. The most disappointing part has been the customer service. They seem very attentive when they want you to sign up, but when you have a concern or want to get out of the membership, that same level of helpfulness suddenly disappears. Instead of trying to understand and resolve the issue, everything comes back to, "You signed the contract." Yes, customers should read what they sign--and that is exactly why I am writing this review. READ THE CONTRACT YOURSELF. DO NOT RELY ONLY ON WHAT YOU ARE TOLD WHEN THEY ARE SELLING YOU THE MEMBERSHIP. Pay particular attention to cancellation terms, recurring charges, membership commitments, and any restrictions. Ask questions and get the answers in writing before handing over your credit card. A company should stand behind not only its contract, but also the way its services are represented when convincing customers to sign up. I learned my lesson. Hopefully this review helps someone else avoid the same frustration. read more

Avoid at all costs. Incredibly rude staff - def not geared towards customer service. Beware of all the "agreements" you're forced to sign - if they mess up, you have no resource except bogus arbitration. Go here if you don't value your face or if you have zero dignity. read more

I had good experience. The only thing that should have never been said was the suggestion of the amount of gratuity. That it's based on a full price vs promotional price. Felt as the gratuity should be higher due to the discounted price. There should never be gratuity mentioned as suggested the amount. Just saying. The laser treatment wasn't 15 min. I think the entire consultation and laser was a total of 15 min. Felt robbed a bit. read more

Great customer service and had a great experience . Will definitely recommend ! It was quick and painless .

Chesvon and the flat iron team are amazing! Best experience ever! Great location AND they have PCA & ELTA MD!

I went here for the signature facial promotion. The two people who described to me the service I was getting done described two different things. One said that this would help bring all the collagen to the surface so I would see plumper glowier skin, and the person doing the treatment said I wouldn't see any visible results. No aftercare was discussed with me. They gave me a free sheetmask if I wrote a review, but I have to write an honest one. My skin looks duller, my fine lines are more visible.. and my skin looks notably worse which has never happened after a facial.. which leads me to think.. is this promo a scam? What did I even really have done? Also I called back to cancel my next appt and make sure they don't have any cards on file (read other comments) after this experience and the coordinator who answered offered me a sheetmask to help "turn my experience around." Lol. Everyone was very polite and I appreciate that. But we're not paying for just politeness. read more

Been coming for a few months and love it. My skin is definitely getting better! Usually go to the one in Miami but this location is awesome

This place is just a scam, really. They just want to take all your money. They'll rope you in to get their membership, saying it takes time to show results. I've been using it for 8+ months now and feel no significant difference to my skin due to the laser treatment. There was a whole period of when the website just wouldn't let you use your credits - so even with an active membership it would tell me to pay while booking and of course you couldn't walk in because they never have availability. I think they've updated this now, if not, the only workaround is downloading their app and booking from there. What a pain! I missed getting the treatment done over the holidays due to traveling and I had credits rolling over so I asked them how to not collect more and they told me I can freeze my account so I don't collect more credits, but very conveniently left out the part that I would get charged a fee even if I'm freezing my account. It was only after getting charged and my calling them up to dispute it that I was informed of this "fee". As evident from the screenshot attached, the person at the clinic also did not tell me about any such fee, just simply placed the hold on my membership. It's also such a pain to cancel the membership, and they are extremely vague about how many days you need to cancel before getting charged. They say 7 days but it's never clarified whether that's 7 business days for them or not. You basically don't get an option to cancel from the comfort of your home and you would have to go in, where of course they will try to rope into continuing the membership AGAIN. read more

My visit went smoothly from start to finish. The space was clean and comfortable, and the staff handled everything in a calm, professional way. The process felt easy and well organized. read more

Great service! My face feels fresh & dewy and rejuvenated. Excellent experience with all handled professionally & beautifully.

I left feeling really disappointed. My skin has never looked worse after the treatment, and the experience didn't feel professional. The staff didn't instill confidence, and overall it wasn't the level of care or service I was expecting. read more

I love skin laundry! The staff is so friendly and I get great results. I have been going for over 2 years and it's essential.

Wonderful experience. clean space and friendly staff. The treatment was gentle .I would recommend the space and why not try the new client discount and get your glow on read more

Great consultation! Great team and detailed explanation. Explained all the different options and side effects well.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a scam. They claimed I signed a "contract" when I did not, when I asked to see the contract they showed me an electronic agreement with my entire official name on it, which is not a name I would ever sign. I had to call my bank to report them as fraud when they continued to charge my card after I let them know that I never signed that contract. The bank was unable to "auto block" future charges from them because they CHANGE THEIR NAME on the charges so it looks slightly different each time and won't get flagged. SO SO FISHY and not cool. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SKIN LAUNDRY. read more

midtown east location! I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a facial at Skin Laundry, and I can't recommend it enough! The service was top-notch from start to finish. The staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my entire visit. A special shoutout to nurse Casandra--she was absolutely wonderful! Her expertise and attention to detail truly made the treatment feel personalized, and she was so helpful in explaining each step of the process. If you're considering a facial service , you must ask for her! Overall, I'm beyond happy with my experience and the results. I'll definitely be returning soon! read more

I have been a client for over 2 years and it is a marvelous thing to do for your skin. I have never looked better. Everyone is asking what I'm doing! Ultra duo is amazing and I do a lot of fraxel. Highly recommend. read more

Front desk person was nice, but it's a sales pitch from the minute you walk in the door through the entire "treatment" which was a 3-minute sloppy laser facial performed by a "nurse" name Oskar with a horrible attitude. The vibe was like I was inconveniencing him. Even at the intro price, I felt robbed and rushed. They offer one-off expensive treatments and try to convince you to buy a 200 dollar monthly membership to avoid paying for full price treatments. Anyone with basic math skills will see it for the scam it is. Hated it. Save your time and money and buy a 30 dollar light therapy mask on Amazon or go to a place that does actual facials. read more

I had a terrible experience here. They were rude and I felt rushed. In general they made me feel uncomfortable, and I thought their staff was awkward. Not the type of culture or vibe you want when you're going somewhere to do some self-care. Taking my business elsewhere! read more

Today was my first time at Skin Laundry and I signed up as soon as my facial ended! I've always been so pro laser treatments! I already feel like my skin is glowing after the first treatment! I also bought two products that were recommended by my nurse Beth! read more

Their entire staff is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere of the clinic and the vibe of all the employees make you even more at ease. I will definitely return when I'm back in town! read more

This place is a scam. I had to call the bank to cancel the membership that I never used because the laser for $75 caused me redness and they didn't want to cancel the membership because they said they need to see your face first, send pictures or I had to show a medical excuse saying you can't continue with the treatment. They have no principles! read more

I went in for a first complimentary treatment. The staff members are all very nice and helpful. The complimentary treatment is the Skin Laundry signature. The signature laser is suppose to help clean the dirt, oils, etc on your face and help stimulate collagen production. The treatment itself is interesting. You feel little heated pops on your skin as the machine scrolls around your face. Throughout the process, you will smell some burning, but rest assured it is not your skin - just oils and dirt. After four passes with the laser, the aesthetician uses a toner to clean your face and then apply a moisturizer with some glycolic acid. After the treatment, my skin did seem brighter. There is no redness and no down time which is great! I purchased a hydrating mask which I used before bed. 24 hours later, my skin doesn't feel that different but does seem a bit "cleaner". I am giving the membership a try and hoping to see some good results. read more

From the esthetic to front desk to the nurse, Skin Laundry was a great experience. They both took the time to answer my questions. I can't remember anyone's name (I'm the worst!), but the front desk lady was so helpful and sweet! Bought a membership immediately ‍ read more

I have been a skin laundry member for many years and continue to be addicted to their services. I have been to many SL locations and can confidently say the staff and nurses at the Flatiron location are the best. They are attentive, kind, and eager to help. Not to mention, I feel that SL facials are the best thing I can do for my skin maintenance. I've gone periods of time without being able to come in for treatment and really notice the difference of not having a facial. read more

I was charged $275 for three months of service that I never received. I never signed anything and only attended once, for less than 30 minutes. I do not recommend using this company. I had to change my card because they would not stop charging me, even after I sent an email. read more

Great experience with the laser facial good environment stuff very polite the place was clean. Oscar was very profesional explain everything before the treatment. I will recommend to a family and friends read more

Pros: The nurses are always very friendly, and they take good precautions for covid. The facility is pretty, clean, and well-maintained. It feels like you're walking into a spa. That being said, I did a pack of 10 signature facials here. I have some hyperpigmentation on my face, so I was expecting to see some fading after 10 sessions, but I didn't notice any change whatsoever, except that some of my freckling seemed a bit darker, if anything. Also, I had to cancel a facial at the last minute one time due to an emergency. As per their policy, I was expecting to lose the facial. Fair enough. Instead, they charged me a fee. When I repeatedly tried to contact them about it, they said a manager would call me back, but no one ever did. No one at corporate answered my emails, either. Really unprofessional. I won't be coming back here, and I wouldn't recommend it, either. I think laser facials are great, but this place seems gimmicky :(. read more

Great service by Dwiann!!! Loved her service.. and also the front desk staff was friendly . Definitely Recommend this place

The first facial is $75, they quickly talk you into their membership which in all fairness you do need some consistency to see results. They ask for your credit card which weather you go every month or not, they charge you $250 every month. The first facial was fine, after that I had 3 more. The results were inconsistent, after the 3rd one I had a strange breakout in my jaw area. I got the Thermo Fractonal facial which means you will have about a week of dry, flaking, and scabbing skin all depending on your skin type and tone. This alone is a bit annoying. The front desk questionable at best, on one of my appointments they emailed, texted and called to confirm my appointment and when I arrived, they kept me waiting more than a half hour after my scheduled time and I noticed they called two other people ahead of me. When I questioned it, they said my appointment was not at the time I said but for a later time, I quickly showed them on my phone and although they did apologize for the "misunderstanding", they did not acknowledge that they had made an error. I believe they moved my appointment so they could fit someone else in, from what I saw. I will be canceling my membership as I feel it is not worth it and I will be going somewhere else. read more

I've been coming to Skin Laundry (flatiron) since November 2023. I was having some breakouts that left me with a lot of hyperpigmentation. I've noticed so much improvement in my complexion (I get compliments all the time at work). In the course of the month I may get 1 maybe 2 pimples but that's it! The laser cleans out your pores in a way that nothing else can. Skin laundry has become and essential part of my skincare routine. read more

loved the resurfacing treatment! Made my skin so smooth & clean. Loved the whole team here.

I didn't want to resort to this, but this business has left me no choice. I cancelled my monthly facial subscription in store in May, and they still charged my credit card this month. I've been trying to get a refund now since June 1 and they have not yet done so, saying they are working to find a solution to the refund. The solution is that you reverse the charge in your point of sale, something that is not a difficult task. If I don't hear back by tomorrow I will be disputing the charge to my credit card. This company is clearly a scam. read more

I am with Jane F. I cancelled my membership and they kept charging me and will not give me a refund. It is NOT WORTH IT.

I have been a client for about 1 year at the Flatiron location. My skin looks great and continues to be bright and clear. The $260 per month commitment is steep, but worth it. I tried for years to clear up post acne marks and Skin Laundry's lasers and Thermo Fractional is finally clearing the the deep scars! read more
