I visited Kristina Borrelli at Skin Esteem Med Spa for filler in my cheeks to add more volume. The Spa is beautiful and the treatment room had a soothing and inviting atmosphere. Kristina was extremely thorough with her explanation of the different filler options and wanted to know my past experiences and likes and dislikes. She gave thoughtful suggestions, but did not "push" her services on me. Since I am an RN, I appreciated that Kristina is a PA and that her partner Dawn, is an NP, since safety and aseptic technique are important to me. Prior to the procedure, Kristina thoroughly cleaned the areas to be injected and applied numbing cream. I experienced very little pain during the injection process. Kristina provided me with post procedure instructions and made sure I didn't have any additional questions. I saw immediate results and was so pleased that I went back a few weeks later for Dysport (aka Botox) for my forehead, between my eyes, and for my crow's feet. If I could leave a rating of 10, I would! I visited Skin Esteem Med Spa for the first time this week for a Hydrofacial, Botox and Filler. I cannot say enough great things about the expertise, professionalism and warmth of the entire staff. Nora greeted me so warmly at the front desk and Haley gave me an amazing Hydrofacial with microdermabrasion. My skin is literally still glowing. The owner, Dawn, is a Nurse Practitioner and expert injector. Her passion and love of her job is obvious. Dawn's consultation was extremely thorough and she is very knowledgeable regarding facial anatomy and proper injection technique. She listened to my concerns and offered realistic solutions. Skin Esteem is a beautiful spa that is warm and inviting with extremely knowledgeable medical professionals. I met with Kristina last Friday for my injections and the entire process from start to finish went smoothly. Kristina is a board certified PA, knowledgeable and extremely good at what she does. I've had injections in the past at other spa's with some bruising but I'm happy to report that I've none with Kristina. She was thorough in her placements and took her time. It was evident to me early on that she clearly has a natural artistic ability. I'm excited to go back to Kristina for other services as she earned a new patient. First time client and was not disappointed, far exceeded my expectations! The spa is cozy and beautifully decorated, as well as the services reasonably priced. Where has this place been hiding?! Dawn is a bad ass, with her many years of nursing experience and specialized knowledge of dermatology/skin care I've never trusted any one more with my skin! She is honest and aims to educate you on your skin type. I got the microdermabrasion treatment and my skin looks shiny and feels baby soft. Dawn even went the extra mile to call me in a prescription for my breakouts that I was able to pick up the same day. I can't wait to try even more services she offers. A friend recommended Dawn for services, but unfortunately I saw a "deal" posted by a salon with a visiting RN and fell for that initially. This was a great lesson in that you get what you pay for and to research, research RESEARCH who you allow to perform injections on your face. I ended up with horribly crooked duck lips, AFTER they were "fixed" by the initial RN's shoddy work. I finally called Dawn and I can not rave enough about her. Incredibly knowledgeable in her craft and takes the time with each of her patients to ensure they are getting the product that would work best for them. I had an appointment recently with Dawn and I couldn't be happier with my results. She did a Radiesse filler liquid face lift for me and it literally took years off of my face.
