I signed up for the monthly massage program because the first one was great. I'm now due for my second massage since signing up but can't seem to get a 60 minute massage slot with Tyrone again! Receptionist wasn't very helpful in booking, kept trying to push a 90 minute massage, which of course costs extra. No thanks, just want the 60 min massage i'm already paying for. Overall, she suggested a highly skilled therapist for me, will be trying her this weekend, hoping for the best!

For starters Edison's hands are rough and feel like sand paper on my skin. He did not massage my neck or back - he used hot stones with a sheet over me to begin. He did not even massage my legs at all. just skipped over that. He applied a exfoliant product that was harsh and dry to my feet and rubbed it in so hard to the tops of my feet rather the bottom. It was painful and my feet hurt for hours from the friction. I was disgusted in my session from beginning to end.

A couple of years ago I got a disastrous haircut at another local hair salon, which was just awful. But on the bright side, I was introduced to Anna who transformed the butcher job into something manageable. (She really had her work cut out for her too.) Since then, I have not strayed. She is a very talented stylist who really listens to what you want. I have been getting my hair cut and colored by her for about 3 years and I have never been disappointed. I also see Linda for waxing and facials. She is amazing! I will not trust my brows to anyone else. Pricing at Salon Luka is very reasonable too. I highly recommend Salon Luka, especially Anna and Linda to everyone. 2016 update: Sadly Anna has left Salon Luka. But Linda is still there - go see her for your skin and waxing services, she's the best!

Beware of possible scamming charges! Made an appointment but bumped into traffic when I called to…read morecancel my appointment they told me they will be charging me for 50% of the wax. When I told the manager I've never been charged a cancellation fee before she said that the policy had changed. I then told her that was off because I didn't receive any information about a new cancellation policy via email or text when I confirmed my appointment. She then stated they have been telling people as they come in for service. When I told her I thought that was unfair considering they messaged me 4 times to confirm my appointment but neglected to post the cancellation policy any where in our texts, emails and not even the last time I came in for a wax at this location. She then changed her story and stated oh we usually send out the cancellation policy when you confirm your appointment. Which I then told her I have not received. I appreciate that they were able to waive my cancellation fee but I find it very predatory as business to instate new fees and not inform regular and/or new clients. And makes me suspicious if this was just a scam since no updates on the website about cancellations. Great waxxers at this location but whatever manager was working 09/12/24 terrible customer service. Definitely will be visiting a new location.
