I LOVE THIS PLACE. I found the Skillet Diner by accident and now it is my favorite place to stop when driving down rte 3 towards the cape, this is a must-stop about 3 minutes off the exit. Phenomenal breakfast (steak and eggs my favorite) Fast and super friendly service all at great prices. What a cool find, indoor and outdoor seating and the perfect place for a break and a wonderful meal - thank you!

I love this place. I'm so glad it's here. There was a great breakfast place here before Skillet and when they left, I was so disappointed, but not anymore! Skillet has filled that void for me and then some... They have a modern-diner vibe but old-school classic breakfast food, which is my favorite. I always get the comfort plate with eggs over easy, pancakes, bacon and wheat toast. The pancakes are always HUGE and fluffy, eggs cooked perfectly and I want to give a special shout-out to the home fries - some of the best I've ever had!! Real rough-chopped potatoes that are well seasoned and almost charred on the outside but soft and light on the inside. The char gives them great flavor in my opinion. I love the food here and would recommend everyone giving this place a try!

Wow, never had a sausage with no salt in my life, blueberry pancakes home made as it is, blueberry is fresh, may be I just never had it, toast is perfectly done, will definitely my new breakfast joint

For what it is, it's great! Dump outside kitschyinside fabulous service, messy, by delicious, unhealthy food, just what people want in the morning. Perfect for once a year. More if you dare!

This is one of my favorite go to spots for a good breakfast! The staff and service never disappoint - Jill is a sweetheart and makes you smile with a simple greet. I feel safe eating here for the COVID protocols they have in place: plastic utensils and silverware make for safe one-time use. The staff is always wearing a mask and require their guests to do the same when not at their table. They have outdoor seating as well, this feels like a cute town diner and a must visit.

They want to be "healthy", but everything has sugar in it... The Blue Bliss looked promising, but why add bananas and sugar and strawberries? Slice of toast with artificially colored whipped cream AND sprinkles? Yes, let's give that to our kids and wave the pre-diabetic flag. Totally irresponsible. Protein bowl had tasteless pre-cooked chicken. They probably just throw on the grill to reheat , very dry and no seasoning. The hard boiled eggs were overcooked, green yolks. Felafel bowl had a smashed messy pile of felafel on mixed greens out of a bag/ half was black and rotting. Hummus was literally sneaked on side of bowl with a spatula. And a nice, fresh cucumber raita would be nice, but they threw in a "house" dressing in a cup and it spilled everywhere. And the Boston Bowl! Disgusting gray meat, no seasoning, dumped on rice with overcooked peppers and onion. Weird hot sauce dressing. No flavor. And were there supposed to be greens in there? Didn't see them. All staff seemed so stressed and rushed, yet there were hardly any in store customers. This place seems to want to please too many people, menu WAY too big, and they have a board of new additions for autumn. What? They barely manage with what they do. Put a nice Fuel or Life Alive in there and see how to do terrific. Please. Definitely zero stars.

As my Bestfriend lives in Weymouth, I stumbled across The Grill & Eye on Yelp and we decided to go for breakfast. Before even getting there, the pictures I saw had me ready to eatttttttttttt. The location was super easy to find as it sits directly on the main road. Parking is scarce, however, there is street parking available and we were able to grab a good spot. Yaay! Walking in, the ambiance is super homely and gives the feel of a mom & pops kind of restaurant. It's small and quaint, however, they have made great use of the space. The waitress at the counter was very inviting and welcomed us with a huge smile and friendly Welcome In. As it is a seat yourself setup, we decided to sit near the back wall. Once seated the waitress was at our table immediately. She presented us with the menus and took our drink order. OhEmGee! Let's talk about the menu. There is no shortage of options whatsoever! The variation of food options truly make it a hard decision to figure out what you want. I'm all for ordering the entire menu, lol. In all seriousness, the menu is amazing and there is something for everyone regardless of what you have a taste for. I decided to order the platter with 2 Pancakes, Bacon, Sausage Links, and Eggs. As I don't eat eggs, I was excited that I was able to swap out my eggs for grits. It's the small things in life that mean the most. LoL! Once our order was placed, the excitement increased and we were ready to eat. Seeing the other orders come out for the tables around us truly increased the anticipation. Ha! Lucky for me, the food didn't take long at all. Everything was out in a timely manner and every single item on the plate was fresh. Speaking of fresh, all of the meat was quality cuts and the grits were real grits. The food was not only fresh but it was flavorful. The sweet to salt ratio provided by the pancake syrup and meat really made every single bite a mouth pleasing, flavor rewarding experience. The bacon was crispy and meaty. The pancakes were fluffy and a perfect size as they almost covered the entire plate. The sausage was flavorful and not too greasy, and best of all, the grits were not too watery or too stiff. The water to grit ratio was spot on and the natural grit flavor wasn't overpowered by the butter, yet the butter was present and added to the creamy smooth texture that was accomplished. Overall I am overjoyed by my meal, the service, and the pricing at The Grill & Eye and I will be returning the next time I'm home for a visit.
