He developed an infection and there were no medical providers available. Despite this fatigue and shortness of breath from the infection, he was brought to PT. As his performance was not great given the infection, the PT pushed him and appeared annoyed that my father couldn't do what they wanted. The nurses are incompetent and the aids spend most of tgere time on there phones. Call lights are rarely responded to. Speaking with the higher level administrators was eye opening. No one is competent there. I am a medical professional and know what adequate care is. This facility was reported to the authorities.

Beware of where your money is coming from- going to and be especially opened eyed about employees in the business office. Be very sure to ask for copies of every transaction made because they will try and secrete any and everything in paper form. Document every incident and file grievences because they make sure those incidents do not have a computerized data based system that stores nor is there a requirement that staff log in any complaints when they happen. If you are not of sound mind or have any mental heath issues they will take advantage of you! Make sure you have family members, friends or even better an Attorney on speed dial, if you don't not have an Avocate, you are a prime target for their bottomline - to make money off of you. They care about one thing and it will not be you! They get minus 5 stars!!!

The facility is quiet and quite clean and pleasant. Luckily, Stinky got a room to himself even though it was a room for two patients. Wicked lucky! The nursing care was quite good and attentive for the most part. The nurse that worked during the day was very good, and am sorry, forgot her name. The nurses that worked during the evening shifts were awesome. RN,s Ed and Martin could not have been nicer and more attentive to the cranky old dude. The only slight downside was that a few of the aides were not all that great and a bit difficult, but most were ok. They did seem to work hard though. Stinky knows it is not the easiest job. They PT staff were very nice and were very good with their skills. The food was actually quite decent though and they seemed to want to please. That being said, Stinky would not want to spend another two weeks here if he didn't have to, but if he did have to he would put this at the top of the list of placement preferences.

In an effort to keep up with nearby for-profit independent living facilities, this non-profit has become indistinguishable from them--with one important exception: the staff remain exceptional. That's why this review gets two stars instead of one. But the leadership has made decisions that, in our experience, prioritize profit over community and the health and welfare of residents. When the project is finally complete, it may well be a gleaming palace but at a real cost.

Her room was so cramped that in order to make it possible for her to sit in a chair we had to move all of the furniture. As a result she was always in bed if we weren't there to set everything up. The communication was non-existent. We had a meeting with her care team and no one in the meeting had actually worked with her. The food was not good with no choice and she either had to eat in her bed or in the hallway. Although the nurses and aides were pleasant they seemed very overworked. Stay away from this rehab!

The entire time she was there it was a hassle getting through to anyone. We were very patient and kind because we understood times were stressful for the staff my grandmother passed away due to negligence (they allowed a cut in her mouth to get infected and never provided proper care for her). On the death certificate they put that the cause of death was covid.....she had been negative for about 3 weeks prior to passing away. Please please do further research before allowing your elderly loved ones who can't speak up for themselves to come here.

Her therapists were attentive and taught my family great ideas to care for her at home and she ended up spending a lot of time laughing with her roommate. It is great to see the difference being there made for her and my family. I am out of state and the communication was outstanding. This was very scary for us as a family and I couldn't be more grateful to the staff for their kindness and understanding. It is the people in a facility that make it what it is and you can't find a better group.

I learned quickly that if I needed to use the bathroom and get any personal care it was on me. No one answered call buttons. So on the second day forward I had to get up myself while in a lot of pain. My pain meds were consistently given late and on one occasion I had to wait 12 hours for pain meds because Stacey claimed she had given them to me. From day TWO I kept a written record of all meds and time received. I WENT THROUGH A NIGHT OF EXTREME PAIN BECAUSE OF A NURSE WITHHOLDING PAIN MEDICATION. THE PLACE FROM HELL DESCRIBES IT WELL!

My mom went to Stone rehab to recover from hip surgery. There were a number of alarming things that…read moreoccurred during her stay. The health aids were rough with my mom when she needed help getting to the bathroom or if she needed to be cleaned off from incontinence. She waited several hours to be cleaned off sitting in a soiled adult pad or after she threw up. There were feces in the shared bathroom floor for several hours. The aids would leave her food or water completely out of her reach. When I became concerned for my mom's life the nurses were dismissive. One insisted her vitals were fine and the other said if I was unhappy with the care she was receiving I should take my mom somewhere else. When I finally got through to the nurse because I thought my mom was dehydrated, it took the nurse 2 hours to get an ambulance. The nurse delayed the process by calling the doctor on call first and threatened that if I called the ambulance that I would lose my mom's room. About 2 hours after my mom arrived at the hospital she stopped breathing. She had an infection (sepsis). The doctors tried to save her and unfortunately, the next morning she passed away. Upon reading the notes from the hospital the doctor and nurses recorded that my mom was severely dehydrated and malnourished. I have since learned that these sorts of facilities have a disincentive to send a patient to the hospital because it lowers their ratings.

My Dad had a medical emergency and required hospitalization which now meant my Mom needed assistance. Most importantly immediate overnight care. I was in a complete panic as to what to do. I was referred to Nursing on Demand. I cannot begin to say how grateful and thankful I am. I spoke with Brenda right away and she was able to get someone immediately!! I was so relieved. Angela has been a god sent. Thankfully my Dad is finally coming home. I hope I never am in a situation like this again, but with elderly parents with medical issues it is inevitable. I will absolutely be calling Brenda again. The attention and care that Nursing on Demand provides is without a doubt the best thing you can do.
