This was my second time getting a pedicure at Ski Nails, and sorry to say it was not a great experience. A pedicure is supposed to be a relaxing experience, not a hurry up and get you out of the chair as fast as they can. I walked in, three employees were doing manicures, I was taken to the pedi chair, another employee came to do my pedicure, 5 minutes into it, 3 women walked in and requested pedi's. There were no other employees to help, they waited, and were taken to the pedi chair, after that the employee doing mine rushed through it, I was out the door in less than 20 minutes, needless to say my toenails looked terrible after a week. Not sure I will be back to give them another try. read more

There is nothing really ski-like about this nail salon, besides the close proximity to the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Nevertheless, if you want a clean and friendly nail salon that will take their time and do a great job...then by all means check this place out. I spent $53 on a basic pedicure and gel manicure. If they had the paraffin wax treatment as part of the manicure (like VN Nails), then I would throw in another star. read more

I started coming here after a disastrous experience at another salon. I have been coming to see them now for almost a year! The service is great! They have always taken the time to soak my shellac off properly, not damaging my nails, and not hurting me! I have never gotten home with lopsided, crooked, or misshaped mismatched nails! They really pay attention to detail! The facility is clean and spa like-I always leave with a smile on my face! read more

Ski Nails - Always a good job!!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Holladay, Utah

Loved this salon! I'm from out of town and I decided to get my nails done last minute, I called around to a few places to see if they could get me in and no one was willing to since they closed in 30 minutes. I called Ski Nails even though they closed in 25 minutes they let me and my 2 friends come in! The atmosphere is clean, new and nice. The light blue pedicure bowls were adorable! Definitely coming back when I'm in cottonwood heights again. read more

Cute nails and they look very nice although a bit messy because some gel nail polish got on my skin & my little cousin's and still hasn't come off. Overall nice place :) read more

Ski Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Holladay, Utah

Made an appointment for both a manicure and pedicure because of all the 5 star reviews. However, extremely disappointed with the service. The lady did my nails did not use tools instead, she used her nails, yes her nails to push back my cuticles despite the tools are right there on the table. . She was not happy and very impatient when I told her my nail shape is not even. The entire process felt rushed and she was being really rough with both my hands and feet. She took less time to do the manicure and pedicure than those people who were there just for one service. read more

Best nail experience that I've ever had. My mom and I went while my husband was snowboarding this past December when I was 6 months pregnant. We popped in on a weekday morning, with a few snowflakes falling outside. We scheduled an appointment ahead of time. I thought it would be slow and it sure was - it was just me and my mom there. We were greeted kindly and the owner and her daughter-in-law did our nails. The environment was so peaceful and relaxing but most importantly, they did a STELLAR job on our nails. My mom was equally impressed. They took their time and did the job right. My toe nail polish lasted weeks too, which is always a good sign. I highly recommend this spot, if you're in the area! It's the closest to Snowbird and worth the drive down the hill from the resorts. Great work! read more

They were easy to get into on Memorial Day when other salons were closed. The results were horrible. The nails had different lengths, the acrylic on two of the nails is bumpy, some are thick, some thin, some with a rounded top and some square. When trying to question about the shape and length - the technician yelled back. And to top it off, the technician dropped a nail on the floor, proceeded to pick it up and glue it on! This was not me - it was my teenage daughter who came home horrified with what had just happened and didn't have the skills to deal with the rude technician and sub-par service. I was shocked at what her nails looked like - and that she had just paid $45. This is the third time I have had people complain to me about this salon. I thought it was about time I shared with others. Good luck! read more

I suggest calling in and making an appointment. They are typically busy but well worth the wait. I've had each nail tech work on me and they're amazing but Vivian is my favorite tech there. She's the one to go to for nail designs. This place is reasonably priced for the quality of work they do. read more

Love ski nails. Stumbled upon this nail place here on yelp and decided to go while I was bored. Their acrylic nail lady is amazing for a classic full set. It may not look like much in there but the 3 of them are awesome to customers! read more

Ski Nails - Love my new nails from Ski Nails! check them out! - Nail Salons Near Me - Holladay, Utah

Walked in after a long stressful work day, I needed a pedicure! The salon is super clean and they got me right in even without an appointment. Staff was friendly and I loved all of the pedicure options. Great pedicure! I will certainly return. read more

I went in to get my acrylic nails taken off. This was the cleanest and most detail oriented nail service I've had. The woman who did my manicure was so gentle and took care to not break any of my already fragile nails. I had a gel manicure done as well and it looks awesome. I was in and out of there in an hour. I go to the same nail tech and I have for a long time, I totally am going here instead from now on. Very reasonable pricing too. read more

Walked in without an appointment. They got to us right away. They did a wonderful job. The women who did my nails did a very nice job and was very professional. Definitely will come again. Thanks! read more

I got a shellac manicure and my mom got a pedicure! Both of us are super pleased with our nails! Everything is very clean! Thanks Ski Nails!

I walked right in and they gave me a wonderful pedicure. Friendly staff! Great massage chairs!

Wonderfully relaxing pedicure from Kim. I got the Deluxe for $37 and thought it was a perfect balance of pampering and value.

Great experience, easy to schedule and courteous service! Happy with manicure and pedicures.

Ski Nails is the coolest place to get your manicure and pedicure. If you want regular polish they have more than 300 colors (I counted one day) and about 250 shellac colors (my favorite). They also just got 6 chrome colors in today. I've been going almost since they opened and know Sarah from a previous shop. I was so excited to have found her after she left the last place. This is her shop, her very own, and she takes great pride in it. It's a beautiful place and very very clean - and quiet, unlike many/most nail salons. Her son, Mike, and daughter-in-law, Vivian, also work there. They are all great. What's really cool is they have various pedicures that I've not seen elsewhere. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Love this place! Fast, efficient and clean. Second time in and zero complaints. Helps to make an appointment but they can usually fit you in. read more

My favorite nail salon eVer! Vivian, Mike, and Sarah are all great. Their salon is super hygienic and they always do an amazing job on your nails. And if you come in more than once they remember you and are super kind and generous. Highly recommend! read more

Second time going here I convinced my two friends to stop going to their usual salon and to go here they were so satisfied with the service! I forgot to ask the girl who did my nails for the second time what her name was but man she does an amazing job! I was running short on time and she made sure to shape, polish, and get my nails the way I want them and get me out of there on time! So thank you for always doing so amazing! read more

I live out of town and needed my nails done while here for work. They say they take walk- ins. I drove 20 minutes from my hotel to get here because of the great Yelp reviews. I walk in and ask for a fill. There are 5 workers and zero customers. She asks if I can come back in 1 hour... what? So they may do great nails. I will never know because they never gave me the chance. They obviously don't want business. read more

I love Ski Nails! Bright, clean, modern, and doesn't have that typical nail-salon smell! Gorgeous chandelier in the center and lots of cute colors to choose from. Very hygienic with disposable tools and pedicure bowl liners that get switched out with every customer. I'm extremely picky when it comes to trusting places to get pedicures & I am so glad to have found my new spot! read more

Just visiting and wanted a pedi, and this was a great place! It's very clean and well maintained. I made a last minute appointment for me and my husband (haha he wanted it for his nasty calluses, and they did an awesome job), and we walked right in and sat down. I'd definitely recommend them, and I'll definitely come back if ever in town again and needing a pedi. read more

After a long gymnastics practice with the team, my body felt tired and especially my leg got so tensed from all that practice. I happened to pass by this new opening nail salon on my way home, and I thought to myself: "why don't I treat myself something nice today". And thanks goodness for that thought, I went and tried the herbal detox at this place. I've never felt so relaxed, my skin feels so smooth and soft, and all the sore and tiresome I've felt before entering this place have all gone away. All the tension throughout my body just drift away like the ocean waves. I ended up doing the whole manicure and pedicure sets. The staff here are professional and friendly, they make me feel like we've been friends since forever even though we've just met. I felt like I'm back on my feet and ready for more intense practice coming up. The price is reasonable too, which is a BIG PLUS for me. I'm in college and I'm very skeptical on my daily expenses, but this is one of those times when it's worth every pennies spent. I'll definitely come back and tell all my girls to come and try out this awesome hidden place as well. read more

Worst manicure experience I've ever had. I walked in, (they say they welcome walk ins) and was rushed through my manicure in order to help another walk in that was a "regular". Not only did they shape my nails all differently and unevenly, they commented on how ugly the color I chose was. There was no cuticle cutting, no lotion or oil added after. I went home and cut my nails to fix the shape. Two days later, my gel has already chipped and peeled, which I've never had happen. I will not be going back. read more

Great place! I am so glad they have opened in my area. They do a wonderful job. I took my granddaughter for her 10th birthday and she was excited with the Minions painted on her big toes. On the way home I said, "Wasn't that fun" and she said "No, that wasn't fun, it was awesome!" I would highly recommend Ski Nails! read more

So this was my first nail salon experience in Utah, we went there with my mom for manicure and pedicure, I have booked in advance for both of us. Sara did my gel manicure and I was very happy with the results. My mom did acrylic nails with Viviann and we were not happy with the results, she was in rush and grumpy, we have asked to fix some nails that didn't look right she did that unwillingly and again in rush. Sara did the pedicure for mom and she was very careful and accurate. Overall if I would rate just Sara it would be 5 stars but because of the experience we had with Vivian we were not happy going out of the salon. Will try another salon next time. read more

Skin nails is a very clean, tasteful and enjoyable experience. The staff is friendly and their work precise. I love their color options although I have yet to get a design. I've only been a couple of times but enjoyed each greatly. Will continue to come here read more

I wanted to like it here, but had a less than stellar pedicure. They only rubbed my feet for 1 minute each foot. I asked for toe spacers to keep polish from smudging and she would not do it. Also, it's an extra $5 for callous removal. I felt it was already overpriced for the service and I won't return. Plus side is it's clean and not crowded. But pedicure itself leaves much to be desired. read more

I came here needing a desperate nail fix. Im snowboarding this week and had artifical nails on and wanted to get them removed so i wouldnt have to risk a broken nail. The woman who did my nails was so gentle! Im visiting from california and i didnt get the chance to get my artifical nails off before coming here so im really glad i found this place. Luckily for me my boyfriend dropped me off and picked me up since it was 15 mins from our hotel but this place had way better ratings than those in Draper so im glad i came here. I called 20 minutes before coming as well and i got helped right away. Whenever i come back to utah and need a nail job i will come back here. Thank you! read more
