This is a beautiful park with beach front access. There are restrooms and plenty of parking in the parking lot Joined to the park. The park has a lush green lawn for picnics and a swing/ slide play area for kids. There are lots of birds flying around and at the end of the path near the rocks you will find a bunch of playful squirrels

Small but open park, great view of the lake and plenty of parking. Public restrooms available. Free parking. Great for taking a nice walk and enjoying the area.

Great park in big bear. We came for the snow but there was none. We drove past this park and it was empty. My son wanted to play and he enjoyed it. They have swings and the whole normal play yard set. There is one bench and a trash can next to it. I didn't like that because there was a lot of fruit flies around. I did love the fact that the lake is right there. You can walk on the lake and enjoy the park at the same time. There is a dock where you can walk too. It's small but you can take pictures there. They do have a parking lot with plenty of spaces. There are also benches if you want to make a picnic. I think it was a nice little spot for my son and for myself.

Came here for day trip to the snow, and this park was the perfect place to play and relax with the kids (and big kids) in our group. Plus, the view of the lake is gorgeous. It's easy to get to, and there's plenty of parking. We're bookmarking this park for future play days!

Beautiful park with easy access and restrooms. It was small, but I loved how empty it was when we got there.

Located on the western side of Big Bear Lake, this park is a popular destination for both locals and visitors, particularly those looking to enjoy a peaceful and leisurely walk with their pets, a picnic, or just some quiet time by the water. There is a free parking lot adjacent to the park, but it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends and holidays. If the lot is full, there is additional street parking available nearby. The park is open year-round, but the best times to visit are during the spring, summer, and fall when the weather is mild, and the lake is at its most beautiful.

Many people taking pictures or selfies, some people fishing off the small pier, while others were walking their dogs. It was very clean, there is restrooms available (yes there was a line) and plenty of parking, although you may need to wait for a spot. It is a cool park to check out, I've seen pictures of people kayaking, however there are signs that say to stay on the path and not cross over the railing. A nice picnic place perhaps or family photos with the bear. The boulders in the area/park make it a cool photographic area.

It's a peaceful place to relax, with several picnic tables scattered throughout the grove. I've visited a few times in both fall and winter, and fall is definitely my favorite, the weather is much more comfortable for me. The parking lot is quite small, so it's best to arrive early, especially during busy months. Parking is $5, and conditions can vary depending on the season. When there's snow, the lot can be challenging to access, small sedans can easily get stuck, so having a larger vehicle or 4WD is highly recommended. There is one standard two stall restroom, but it's not very well maintained. There's no running water, so bringing your own toiletries and hand sanitizer is a good idea. The area is open from 8am to sundown .
