We saw their work at a friend's place and like the result a lot. After sending them pictures and links on what we liked (everything from lamps to tables to paintings), they came back and presented us the compiled design. Everything was done very professional and followed a clear concept. During the next few weeks, Sylvia from m.a.p. interiors spent a lot of time showing us other options if we didn't like anything or gave us directions on where we could find more items to look at. Her extensive network of contractors as well as material stores helped us get everything at the best possible quality & price (which I am very thankful for). Starting the actual work, they were often on site to make sure the contractors were doing the right things and correct them if necessary. This was very helpful for me as I'm travelling most of time and would not have had the time to be home. Now that we are done, I'm even happier that we've selected m.a.p. interiors as everything looks fantastic, flows beautifully together and we got it done at very reasonable price. I definitely recommend m.a.p. interior to anyone!

The remodel included removal of a kitchen/dining room wall to provide an open concept, and the removal of a central double-sided fireplace to open the living room area. A new fireplace was installed, dated soffits were removed, ceilings were modified, skylights added and both bathrooms were completely gutted and remodeled. During the entire process Andrina demonstrated exceptional professionalism. She kept the project moving and more importantly, us on track and on budget by working with us to make literally over a hundred decisions ranging from material selections (paint, stain, stone, tile, glass, etc.), to hardware selection. Andrina's research, planning and schedule management facilitated the entire project. Throughout the process she helped us to visualize the finished product with the use of sketches and renderings. I can't imagine the average homeowner taking on this level of responsibility themselves. Andrina possessed the ability to listen to our ideas and then skillfully guided us to a design we absolutely love. We quickly learned to trust her recommendations, and quickly established a wonderful partnership. When construction was nearing completion, we finalized the selection of the furnishings, which made the move in process very exciting. The finished product was more awesome than we could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend AndrinaPaladin Designs to anyone who is looking for a professional, competent, creative and highly organized interior designer. Bob & Michelle Laguna Niguel

A colleague referred me to Eliane Sherman from Creative Designs Studio in Southern California. After speaking with Eliane, I knew she was the right person to helm our remodeling projects. She was very professional, attentive to details, and exceeded the contracted terms to ensure our remodel was successful. She provided us with several 3D visualizations of the remodeling project along the way, helping us see how color, fabric, furniture, lighting, and placement choices solved our project goals. Once finished, the projects were aesthetically superior to what we had hoped for before we met Eliane, and they came in under budget and were a massive hit with our team members and prospective new hires. My realtor recommended Memar so we added them to the list. Matt came by the house to walk through with me and better understand the scope of my project. Unlike others that I met, he was not pushy or insisting that we do xyz. He truly listened to what I wanted and offered insight and suggestions to improve or enhance what I was initially thinking. You can tell that he and his team are very experienced and good at what they do. Matt and his calm, friendly demeanor sold me. That and visiting the show room in Mission Viejo sealed the deal. They have everything in house if you so choose (cabinets, flooring, tiles) or if you want to pick other options, they will make it work. They can even customize whatever you desire. Max was able to give me a bid within a week and was mindful of the fixed budget I had. Although not the lowest or near the lowest, it was competitive and comparable to the others. I think Memar's was the most upfront because they didn't have hidden budget breakers like expecting the client to buy and transport all of the materials from cabinets to vanities or even baseboards to the job site. Memar takes care of this and they take care of the client. They truly make it comprehensive and eliminate unecessary potential stressors for a house renovation. We are halfway into our timeline and things have been moving along smoothly. Our questions are answered almost immediately and the communication is open and clear. We are able to check in with ease and if something changes or needs a change as we move through each step, it's quickly brought to our attention and addressed. Will offer another update once our remodel is completed but if you're shopping around for a general contractor, be it for a small remodel or a whole home remodel (like me) or even to build your dream home, look no further. I'm so grateful for the positive experience thus far as I have never done any remodel and have learned a lot with Memar guiding me every step of the way.

They weren't the least expensive but their quality was perfect. There's no doubt they are professionals and don't cut corners. WHile we were redoing three bathrooms my mother in law redid one bathroom again after the contractor who did it before messed up the shower pan and caused a leak. It was past the warranty period and she went with a different company than Memar and ended up having issues. Made us even more confident we made a good decision to go with Memar. We finally got around to redoing the three bathrooms in our house that were still stuck in the 70's. Two of the bathrooms weren't too bad, although they were still completely gutted and everything was replaced. For the master, we completely changed the bathroom around and moved the shower to the other side of the room which was a major upgrade and undertaking. It entailed pulling new plumbing and really moving things around. We weren't able to find the vanities that we needed for various reasons so we had Memar get them custom made. It was not as expensive as we thought it would be and was in line with what you would find premade and great quality. It made it so much easier because we were going nuts trying to find a vanity the size we wanted and with the single hole for the faucet. Of course the project went long but it was really due to the city and permitting issues. Mission Viejo had just changed to an online system from paper and had problems. That part was frustrating since it took two and half months to get the permit. Part of the problem was also the major remodel in the master bath. One piece of advice for doing a remodel of any kind, don't buy anything until you really know when you will be needing it. I immediately ordered everything and then when the permit took so long it meant that when I needed to return some items later it was past the return window. Also, make sure you find out from the city what they require for fans, lights, fixtures, etc. There were several requirements that we hadn't planned for that were a pain and meant we had to adjust things.
