Nice selection... we had brisket sandwich and shrimp basket. There is indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the Susquehanna River.

I had pulled pork sandwich and my girlfriend had smoked chicken salad sandwich and we shared a basket of fries. We were very happy with the food. The view of the river and rustic timber frame building with big windows made it a unique meal above all the usual chains. Family friendly and easy place to bring kids. But there were beer/wine selections as well. Staff was fast to clean tables and very friendly.

I was excited to go eat at this location, unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. We ordered a rib platter and brisket platter & it was some of the driest bbq I've ever had. I'm not sure if it was due to being during the week and not the weekend. The service was good no complaints there. The setting is nice, the view is absolutely beautiful. I just wished the food would match up with the view, 63$ later and the best think was the fountain drink.

1/4 ribs and chicken tender basket

Staying in town for the weekend and I've never been here before. Let me first say the view is really nice from inside the restaurant and the staff was very friendly. They bring your food to you and also bus the tables. The food was just okay. I've had a lot better bbq and the price for what you get wasn't too impressive. I got the combo platter with 1/4 chicken and pulled pork. The sides are a corn muffin, baked beans and coleslaw. Everything was so dry. It just lacked flavor. I put bbq sauce on the meat and it just didn't do anything for me. The coleslaw barely had sauce on it and it was just really dry. For $22 I expected a lot more. My son had the 1/4 ribs and chicken tender basket. He said the ribs were okay to him. Overall it's a nice location to look outside and be by the river. But for those two meals and two fountain drinks, it came out to $49. Not sure I'd come back.

Barely edible processed chicken fingers.. Thank goodness for the barbecue sauce to drown them in!

JC from Westchester If your ever in lewisburg, selingsburg Or Williamsport PA Take a ride to "Shamokin " and visit Skeeters, eight of us went this past Saturday 8/19/23 to relax after moving three girls into their dorm at bucknell The place is so cool on top of a mountain overlooking the river, and the staff is super friendly, Ribs excellent Chicken excellent pulled pork fantastic, and the sides were really good, it's a fun place to go with family and enjoy Remember Mangia bene Vivi bene

Smoked jumbo wings. More bbq-saucy than buffalo.

The location and view makes this place worth the visit if you're looking something quick and easy, no doubt about it. It's gorgeous up there, either sitting inside or on the ample outside seating area. Service was very good, happy friendly young people who seemed to like/care about their job. Food wasn't amazing, but serviceable for bbq. I didn't think the pork sandwich had much smoke to it, no hickory etc, and it didn't have any of the good crunchy bits from a good bark. I didn't particularly like the heavy bun the pork was on, either, as it took away from the sandwich, but my wife liked it so there ya go. The wings were pretty good. I would revisit just for the patio and ambiance. Would be GREAT if they had live music out there. Also, if the owner ever reads this, ditch the 16oz cup coozies for cab coozies!

Absolute gorgeous views of the Susquehanna River! Think Mission BBQ WITH beer.

Hands down, one of the best lunch spots in the area to take a parent or a child. Think Mission BBQ but with a fairly decent and reasonably priced (I know my Harrisburg Elites will get it!) beer selection on tap. I reached out for the Mediterranean selection which was a mere special at the moment. It entailed fresh pulled chicken with a Green salad wrapped and served warm rather quickly (and cheerfully!) in a tortilla wrap. I almost reached out for the ribs and shrimp, but THAT shrimp is fried. This is BBQ at its best, so no corners cut. Vegetarians though do have options. Maybe vegans too....but I haven't followed cooking styles closely and what kind of oil they use to cook the vegetables in. Sawryyy to let those readers down. Easy to find, indoor and outdoor parking with beautiful views of the Susquehanna River right behind the boat launch... yahoo!

View BEAUTIFUL.. Staff FANTASTIC!! Food, well not so great. Ribs were over cooked, Wendy's has better chicken fingers, apple sauce & corn bread from grocery store. Would not come back for food.

    Smoked wings (8)

From the view, to the BBQ... Skeeters has it on lockdown. My second time being here, I decided to get the smoked wings. They came out piping hot, crispy, and Juicy!!! They came with a bbq sauce on them that was tasty, as well as battered french fries (would have preferred fresh cut fries) but were good nonetheless. The bbq sauce that was at the table seemed different than what was on the wings (the one on the table tasted better). I wish they had more sauce choices, and also a little bit bigger of a menu with different options. Overall, I would give it a 4.4/5. **Great service as well, food came out quick!! **

Went to Skeeters last night for the first time. Order at the counter, food is brought to the table and tables are bussed by the staff at the end of the night. I had 2 meat platter with brisket, pulled pork, beans, fries and cornbread. The portion sizes were great and fairly priced. Pulled pork had a bunch of flavor, but had a lot of sauce on it so it was hard to tell how it would be without (I prefer it without sauce). The brisket was the only disappointment of the evening. It was bone dry and pretty clear it had been sliced earlier or the brisket itself was overdone. If I go back, I probably wouldn't do the brisket again. If you're super picky on BBQ, this might not be the place, but if you're in town and need a place with a great view and quality service, this is a great option. With a little work, they could be 5 stars.

    Beautiful view from inside

Checked on everyone and chatted with us. Food was super delicious and reminded my husband of DR food he hasn't had in a while in NY. Chef is inspiring with his passion for cuisines and innovation. He told us for every event, e.g. food trucks festivals, he comes up with unique dishes not on the regular menu. My only complaint was the restaurant was cold as if there was no heat. People kept their coats and jackets on. It's not a huge problem but if there's anything to improve, that would be my suggestion, especially in the winter. Already recommended the restaurant to others!

They gave two sauces with it. One was a sweeter type of spicy sauce and one was avocado with like a side cake I like the sweeter one a lot better, especially with the flavors of the rice. I got the yellow rice word was the rest of the day and that was very flavorful and not paired well with that with that sauce that I was saying before, as far as the lady who I talk to, in order to order my food, she was really nice. My order only came out to about 13 bucks and it was a lot of food for 13 bucks so I think it was very satisfying. I'll definitely go there again and I'll be definitely getting this multiple times. The outside area of the place also look nice and I can tell that they probably put our chairs in that area for people to sit in the evenings when it's more of a sit down restaurant.

We proceeded to walk in because we were there a couple of years ago and the food was still good, and that was a mistake. My daughter's chicken Caesar salad was so bad, chicken was either old or overcooked she couldn't chew it ( brought it to go for my dog)! There was nothing redeeming about it, not the dressing, lack of croutons, it was just terrible. I ordered the haddock and what i got was not haddock, it tasted like frozen tilapia. I eat a lot of fish and this was not it, to make matters worse I had a whole entire half missing from my fish and they put it out to serve, I asked our waitress what happened to the other half and she said i asked them that too but told me to serve it anyway. She said i will let them know and then they sent another piece about 10 minutes later. It was unflavored and just crap to be frank. My husband's meal was a crab cake sandwich that was less than desirable as well, edible but not flavorful. Now all of these meals were not cheap, and people want to shop local when the quality for the price is just not worth it. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore to anyone. It looks and smells like something Gordon Ramsey would have had on kitchen nightmares. The beer was the only redeeming quality but you can go anywhere for that, and we have a bar in our basement so we will stick to our keg in our basement and pass forever on this place!!
