We were disappointed the snack bar wasn't open but enjoyed watching the skaters!!! All the employees were pleasant and professional. The music could have been a little better. I was with my 2 daughters, their friend and my 2 BFF so the overall experience was satisfying!!!

I was told this place was a classic, and honestly, that part checked out. Real old-school energy…read more Plenty of space. Plenty of parking. The kind of spot that feels like generations of birthdays, linkups, and random Friday nights have happened under the same roof. Nothing too polished. Nothing trying too hard. Just a solid rink doing what it came to do. The concession stand understood the assignment. The Icees hit exactly the way rink Icees are supposed to hit. Cold. Sugary. Slightly dangerous if you drink it too fast. The chicken tenders were good too. Crispy enough. Salty enough. No fake gourmet remix. Just classic snack bar food that actually satisfies when you need a break from skating and people-watching. Staff was amazing. Friendly from the jump. Easy to deal with. Kept the place moving without making it feel stiff. That kind of energy matters in a rink because one weird employee can throw off the whole night. Not the case here. The bathroom was clean, which already deserves applause in any skating rink conversation. The floor was decent too. Enough room to move. Enough space to breathe. The whole place felt functional in the way a classic spot should. it's giving... ATL legend with a concession stand co-sign.

It fits the mold of a skating rink. An arcade and jungle gym play area are a bonus. Shoe strings…read morecould be replaced, or we got some unlucky ones; normal wear and tear on just about everything. Going on a Saturday is not ideal of course if you want to avoid crowds stemming mostly from multiple birthday parties. $5=20 credits, games are all about 4 credits, so do the math and bundle if you can. We didn't realize you have to pay $10 to play in the jungle gym area. We did not, oops -- it was pretty much free for all with no attendants to check wristbands that I could see. Parents are the best responsible parties in this game! Bathroom stalls are fairly clean, with a baby station. The wash receptacle area a little cramped and well...public bathroom like. Staff is nice and looks to be working well together. The "safety patrol" is here and there. I haven't looked in to a party, but the hostess of the party was satisfied. They have about 4 party rooms, maybe more. Tip toe and tango your way around once they start filling up with kids and adults. They do typical nostalgic songs/activities on the rink floor, there are training carts for those who are beginning. Music is a good top 100 bit. Food was standard concession stand grade, but no free refills. All in all, including food and play, bundled deals are obviously the way to go. Four stars because it is in a safe area, yes, there could be improvements, but if you've got your wallet packed, and actually skate - you can have a fun time.

Man this place took me back. Back when I used to skate to the sounds of Rob Bass and Bobby Brown!…read more I wasn't the only one either. Its really funny to see adults zooming around reliving the glory days in their mind. I feel this place has an old decor scheme. Its looks like midnight bowling without the black lights. I guess it really doesn't matter when its comes to kids but I am trying to give you full experience so you don't have to go yourself. Most of my experience was spent trying not to make eye contact the carnies that were skating around in there. It was like the circus was in town and they went on break at the skating rink. Who knew that a wife beater wearing, mullet sporting dude could do a back flip. Man that dude was skating his mullet off! You could tell he was serious about skating and I think the only time he stopped skating was to get another hit of meth in the bathroom. They have private party rooms and I was invited to a party so that comes in handy. Except the room we were in was cramped, I mean my dining room was bigger than this room. For some reason the air conditioner in this room didn't work well, it was HOT. So lets cram 10 sweating kids with parents into a small psychedelic painted room and watch the magic happen. The main roller rink is well cooled so thats where you want to be. You want to be out there watching all the folks skating. Avoid the snack bar, I had tombstone pizza that was much better. The arcade was a complete joke. Two ski ball machines that were broken and OFF ROAD Thunder, at least pac man would have been retro cool. So yeah If you love skating, then go for it, but I think most folks would rather go bowling or Dave and Busters.

Griffin skate inn is our home rink. We're here most weekends with a few missed ones here and there…read more Overall we really love the place, they have a large skate floor which is smooth for the most part, there are a few cracks in the floor here and there but nothing that makes it dangerous to skate on. The floor is one of the quicker floors around and has excellent grip as well. The center of the floor has a textured finish which is a little odd but actually works well for doing lower speed tech stuff. The facilities are a little "run down" it's not dirty or nasty as some rinks are but it isn't super nice either, I think bare bones would be a good description. They do have a small snack bar, skate shop, and prize counter. These are nothing to write home about but the entire point is the skating which is very good here. With the larger floor it doesn't feel as crowded as other rinks even though they do get a lot of people in here. If I had any complaints it would be that there isn't a lot of order to the rink. Most times they do not use a floor guard and the floor can be somewhat chaotic. Lots of the plastic skate trainers rolling around and people who don't understand that slower skaters should stay to the center. In the rinks defense they do make several announcements saying that slow skaters should stay to the center but again, they don't use floor guards to enforce it. Overall, we love the place and will continue to go here. The prices are the best anywhere remotely close by and the skate experience is excellent every time. I just hate that they're going to close for 2 months for filming but we will look forward to the reopen in July.
