It's a great vintage bowling alley with a lot of character -- not a big flashy place, which honestly adds to the charm. They have 8 lanes and it worked really well for the event. We bowled for the fundraiser and they also used the large side room for a big raffle and gathering area, which was perfect for the group. It made it easy for everyone to hang out, socialize, and participate in the raffle between games. We didn't eat while we were there, but we did have drinks and the service was friendly and attentive even with a full crowd in the building. There's also a patio area that looked like a great place to sit when the weather is nice. Overall it was a really fun atmosphere and a great place to host a fundraiser or small tournament. Definitely a Cedarburg spot with some classic bowling alley charm.

He had three young kids with us and an hour was plenty. The guy at the counter quoted us $27 and said we pay after. 30 minutes in, the lane broke. It was fixed in a couple minutes. 45 minutes in, the motor on the ball return died. The staff member tried to fix it. Ten minutes later, he turns to the other family and offered to put them on a different lane (but they were full and lanes were about to be taken up by the league), but told them the motor died. We stood there never given any info while the guy went back to go bartend. My husband went up to pay since we figured that's that, even though no one wanted to talk to us. When my husband went to pay, the guy tried to charge him almost $40, which was more than quoted, and us not even finishing one game. After my husband disagreed with the price since we were there less than expected, had a broken game we couldn't even finish, we paid half. No apology (fully understand they can't control an electronic component, but some kind of sympathy is just being human and a good business person). I was more upset that we didn't get any kind of communication that our game was cut short and there was no solution. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

The space itself was so fun and historic!! All of the decor is on theme for the time period, giving you a blast from the past. While it was historic, it still felt incredibly well-done and intentionally finished. The living room/dining room combo area was perfect for the 20-30 adults mingling and there is space upstairs and outside to spread out if needed. We used their in house catering and bartending, which was phenomenal. Heavy appetizers included fruit tray, artichoke dip, meatballs, cheese curds, and assorted sliders. The meatballs were my favorite with a sweet and umami sauce that was delectable. Overall, a really great event space for small to medium gatherings!

To start off it's a nice looking venue to host a wedding or any other event you may have. My…read moredaughter and future son in law booked this place for their wedding recently and things were going well as it should . Well then you throw in this guy we were told was the Manager/guy who wants to purchase the club which hopefully the city of Mayville refuses to do because this guy does not have customer service in his bones to be able to run such a venue. My daughter had a contract with this guy ,but he kept on wanting to add charges upon charges after the initial agreement had been signed. It just kept going back and forth on you can do this you cant do that all the way up to the wedding day and days afterwards. All the weddings that I've been apart of the venues always did what they could to make sure everything went off without a hitch, and within reason. We observed after the wedding party got their food , that some of the workers helped themselves to some of it too without consent of the wedding party. Also their staff in the bar served two minors shots one of them was my son who was 18 never was carded and didnt even have his wallet with so he should never have received anything to begin with and the other was a brother of the groom who was 20 and also never carded he recieved multiple alcoholic drinks without being accompanied by any adult.Im not expecting any bar or place that serves alcohol to babysit minors ,just do their job in carding so they dont get served.Over all like I said it's a nice looking place but you need REAL LEADERSHIP to run a place like this and make it fun for all guest. Management Failed this time, hope they figure it out, if not I hope Mayville wont sell it to them.

We ordered fish to go and it was a great meal. The only complaint would be this visit the waitstaff advised the owner just yelled at the cook sorry for the wait. I randomly heard about this place from a friend on social media. They are not open all the time,…read morebut have special days they open to the public (watch their website/Facebook for details). We took my two year old who recently started enjoying "Choo Choo's" (songs and toys). Wow, this is a local treasure. They don't have a lot of parking, so we came twenty minutes early to get a spot in their lot. You have to sign paperwork, pay a small fee for adults and children 3+, then, get in line for a train ride. The track is all 7.5"; they have two bridges that we rode both under and over. They have a few little towns with barbie cars, buildings, construction vehicles, etc. It is adorably decorated and so fun. Sure, the adults will have a stiff bum after riding for 15 minutes, but this is such a unique and fun experience for kids. It is fully outdoors, so dress for the weather. My toddler keeps asking to see the photos from the train ride. We can't wait to come back next year! Side note: they have port-a-potties and a small concession stand. This place operates on cash only.

Everyone had the best time and this venue is perfect for all different types of weddings. Amanda is the best coordinator a bride could get. Julian and his Mixology skills were top-tier. The whole family is so prepared and helpful. The food oh my God, the food. They cater all the weddings, and I will tell you it is some of the best food you will eat. It's unique and flavorful and we got so many compliments on how good everything tasted. There is a rule about no outside food or drink, but it's really not that hard to follow because everything they provide is way better than anything you could sneak in. And if you let them know about bringing certain things in advance, they are very relaxed about it. This rule is standard for any business to liability reasons and you just gotta role with it. It's not that hard, just be sure to remind your guests and family before hand. This family has your back and will help you make your wedding the best day possible. They know what they're doing. Johan is so nice and helpful and you can tell he truly cares about your wedding going the way you want. Any negative reviews about him are most likely embellished and honestly rude. Anyone that has a problem with him is the problem. Trust me...They've done so many weddings and really made it magical. Might I add that the pricing for this venue is very respectful and ideal for couples looking for a wedding venue on any budget. And we saved so much money on decor because the venue is already so beautiful. Thank you all so much for making the Foster wedding the best day of our lives.
