Shame on Sixt for trying to overcharge customers. When I returned my rental car, I received a form stating that my gas tank was 7/8 full, leaving me with 1/8th of a tank to fill. I chose to have Sixt fill the thank, and I was told I would only be charged for 1/8th of the tank, plus a fee. I ended up being charged 30 euros + 12 euros fees. On the invoice I received, it stated that I was charged for 14.15 liters of gas. The car that I had was a Fiat 500, and 14.15 liters equates almost for 1/2 of a tank (total tank capacity is 35 liters). The best part? The customer service does not want to hear anything and simply states, "Your invoice is correct" Laetitia must have been the least understanding and helpful person I ever dealt with. A quick search online and it shows that Sixt has a bad habit to overcharging customers, especially customers living abroad. Great job tarnishing the image of France. I will never use SIXT ever again. It's a shame this company behaves like this. Be warned. read more
